I’m a big fan of Rachael Stewart - she knows how to tell a romantic erotic story very well and she did not disappoint with Naughty or Nice.

If you’re a fan of enemies-to-lovers, second chances with a touch of forbidden love then this naughty romance will be right up your street.

The story is told through a dual perspective which flows well and I really liked.

It opens with a prologue - 18-year-old Eva confessing her love to her brothers best friend Lucas. We then fast forward 10 years to the present day with Eva as a bad ass boss babe heading up her own company and then Lucas strides back into her life causing havoc and very steamy scenes.

The chemistry between Eva and Lucas is palpable and I really enjoyed their romance hotting up in every chapter.

Will Lucas tell Eva the truth about why the business he had with her brother collapsed and why he was shunned by her family?

Will Eva and Lucas be business partners, lovers, both or neither?

This story has romance, fall out, passion, steamy sex, a private jet that’s next level and love - another great read by Rachael Stewart.

Naughty or Nice is M&B Dare and the author is Rachael Stewart. Ten years ago Lucas Waring had been a family friend and Eva’s brothers best friend before he betrayed them all. Now he is interested in investing in Eva’s product/business but first he needs to make amends for breaking 18 year old Eva’s heart all those years ago.

I found the storyline enjoyable but I didn’t like the fact it was as written in the first person from Eva’s point of view. I find it hard to relate to or empathise with the characters. There are also inconsistencies, for example, Eva is supposed to be a superb business woman but the first time she sees Lucas she insists he gives her oral sex in the restaurant bathroom.

When Eva is just 18 years old she lays her heart on the line and tells her brother's best friend Lucas just how she feels about him, when he rejects her she is heartbroken. Now 10 years later he is back in her life once more and the feelings are still there, but are they mutual? Now a successful businessman Lucas is interested in investing in Eva's product but first he needs to make amends for rejecting her all those years ago.
I really liked this story, I liked both Eva and Lucas and wanted them to work out. This is a great read that will have you hoping for a happy ever after!

I thought that this book was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The characters were well developed and they worked well together.

The pace was good and I liked the content but I did feel that it "dipped" a little in the middle but it soon picked up again and I thought that the ending was good and spot on for the book.

4 stars from me for this one, I enjoyed this book a lot - highly recommended!

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I like the DARE range in Mills and Boon, but I don’t like all the books. Writing erotic yet potentially romantic sex scenes, is a real skill and not every writer possesses it. There are some writers who are outstandingly brilliant and others who make sex sound like an Ikea manual for building a bookcase!

This writer is relatively new to me and whilst I liked her plot premise, the story development, the hero and her actual writing, I had mixed feelings about the the heroine and the sex scenes. The latter were okay, (definitely not in the ‘painting by numbers’ category), and yet not as erotic as Jackie Ashenden, Caitlin Crews or Avril Tremayne for example. I like my sex scenes to be both erotic and emotional enough to let me see the relationship is going somewhere. I like a mix of hot and tender, impetuous and lingering.

Her characters are interesting, but I struggled with Eva who was such a hot mess of contradictions that I despaired of her and started to lose interest. Lucas was a sweetheart and at several points I wanted him to just walk away and leave her because her behaviour was in my opinion so unreasonable.

Eva confuses me from the beginning. She is supposedly an amazingly successful business woman and on the most important night of her business life - she drags Lucas into the ladies toilets and insists he give her oral sex despite the risk of their being discovered. Really? I just could not believe that this amazingly cool, professional and controlled woman would ever take such a risk with her business - which means so much to her. There was nothing to suggest to me that she would lose all inhibitions in such a way - at least not at that point in the story.

Then Lucas is in the midst of more hot sex in the shower with her - and a text message from her brother makes her immediately stop, get dressed and walk out? This is the woman who was so overcome with sexual urges in the ladies that she cared not a jot about the consequences. So again, her bahviour did not strike me as authentic.

The family and in particular the brother just really annoyed me. It was obvious that Eva already had doubts about her brother so the way she acceded to his interference just did not ring true. The lengths that he and his father had gone to blacken Lucas’ name horrified me and I could not see a way back from that betrayal.

However, overall, I enjoyed it and found it entertaining. Definitely worth a read despite the contradictions.

A really enjoyable read. Her brother’s best friend who had caused grief before and now he’s back wanting her business ....and her! Very easily read and difficult to put down!

I loved this, second chance, hate to love, sizzling sexy leads it ticks all my boxes. It has just the right level of steaminess but not so much the story lacks, has a HEA and is an addictive read, you won’t put it down once you start. A fun and flirty quick read.

If you love enemies-to-lovers and second chances with a hint of the forbidden, and are in the mood for a feel-good, very naughty romance, then Naughty Or Nice is the book for you.

“I came here tonight to secure a deal, to offer you a very lucrative contract… But now I find myself wanting a whole lot more.

Rachael Stewart hit the jackpot for me here, once again creating a fabulous down-to-earth power-couple and whether loving or fighting, Evangeline and Lucas’ chemistry is sizzling. Wealthy and successful, Lucas is a master in business and between the sheets and caring, thoughtful and attentive with it and Eva is a strong, independent, passionate woman who will fight for, and against, those she loves.

“Tell me…is it as amazing as they say at high altitude?”

When it comes to first person I’m not the easiest of people to please, but the dual-perspective here worked perfectly and with a lighter sprinkling of angst and drama mixed in amongst the emotional aspect of Eva and Lucas’ past along with the generous serving of delicious steamy action, this was an absolute winner.

The story of Lucas and Eva. He was her brothers best friend, until their business fell apart. Now he is back and this time he wants her - both in business and personally. Do they stand a chance?

A fun, short read.

This is a seductively sexy, erotically enticing, romantic story of long craved love, trust, family loyalty both in private and business and it's breakdown that is then rebuilt.

New relationships that are formed, the heartbreaks that are healed, bringing new found love, joy, happiness and laughter.

With a happy ever after ending to this truly enjoyable romantic story.
