this had great twists and an interesting story, I really liked most of the characters. I hope there is more from the author.

Behind the scenes manipulations and double-dealing seem to be endemic to Argentina. The author tries to take us through a detailed scenario that encompasses the unique Argentinean approach to law and business. He kept my interest even as he occasionally left me hanging. Ultimately betrayal seems to be the keyword, but can Argentina accomplish anything if they are not above board? Corruption is endemic. Politicians run for office not to serve the people, but to plunder the treasury. Argentina is hardly alone on that. As the novel comes to its great reveals, I felt somewhat lost. Perhaps only Argentinians can fully appreciate this novel.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.
