I really wanted to like this book. I chose it to review based on the cover; unfortunately, the content doesn't live up the cover art.

Wolfhampton contains murder, but there's certainly no mystery. The book rambles along SLOWLY until we reach the author' s hope of the 2020 election results. The book also needs an edit for spelling, grammar, and punctuation. In one area containing the transcription of an interview, it also needs an edit for consistency, a the participants and their responses are not identified correctly.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received a free digital copy of this title to review from Net Galley.

i actually really enjoyed reading this book, it was a funny book and had a good time reading it, I look forward to reading more satirical work by the author.

This is supposed to be a political satire, but the plot behind it rings almost too true to be a satire. President Trump, his wife Melania and third son Baron are at a Russian the Russian oligarch Dmitriy Volkov castle in the Hamptons over the July 4th holiday, when two young girls commit suicide. When the deaths are ruled a suicide, Dmitry Volkov becomes the prime suspect. With the investigation on-going, is this the time Putin figures he can get rid of Volkov, Trump and Wall Street in one move? Even Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer play a part in this plot. Is this going to be a defining moment in the Trump presidency?

The story, as I said, is really not a satire. The author goes round and round in the plot, probably hoping to make sense of things. It really did not make that much sense, though the book was an okay read, just a bit too like what is and could be going on today. The story did come across as a bit exaggerated, though that is sort of what politics is today. As I said, it almost rings too true to be fiction or even satire. This is an interesting read, whether you like Trump or not. It is definitely different from most of the other books available. AI received this from NetGalley to read and review.
