a little slow in the beginning, but I really enjoyed it and found myself laughing a lot !!! I don't find a lot of hooks that make me laugh out loud (or are just funny these days) but this one was

This was laugh out loud funny! It was light and fun while it covered a pretty amusing situation. The characters were easy to relate to and more importantly they were very likable. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for this ARC.

this book was hilarious I just loved Hari she was “special” but so awesomely authentic that even when she made me cringe in her obsessiveness she made me laugh. Cam was perfect for her, and while I would have loved his POV, it was quite obvious that he was falling in love with Hari. Every so often I come across a book where a character stands out for me and this happened in Sexpiry. I was so sad when it ended but happy for these two character's.

Fun and quirky! Took me a moment to get into the tale despite the obvious humor - Hari was a bit hard to reconcile with, a little too over-the-top for me in her neuroses, for lack of a better word, but she grows on you. A light and enjoyable read with some smiles and good laughs thrown in

This book did not work for me but that doesn't mean that other readers wouldn't enjoy it. I love romance, but I'm not a fan of Chick Lit and unfortunately, this book falls more on the Chick Lit side of the scales. In addition, it contains one of my least favorite tropes, the "ridiculously overprotective older brother who refuses to allow his younger sister to have sexual agency" trope. It is played for laughs here, and Harriet (Hari) comments on how stupid it is, but at least at the beginning of the book, Cam, the hero, does pay it some attention. This, along with the Chick Lit elements told me right away that this wasn't the book for me, but since I'd requested it from Netgalley, I soldiered on and finished it.

Hari is clearly on the autism spectrum. She's a numbers genius with a tendency to blurt out socially unacceptable comments and a complete inability to read social cues. She fixates on ideas and statistics and then cannot be swayed by any kind of logic. Cam is an adorable cinnamon bun type of hero. He finds Hari's (many) quirks to be endearing and he's all in on the romance.

My advice to other readers is to download a sample and then decide. If the humor in the first few pages appeals to you, you'll probably love the book as the first 10% is an excellent representation of the rest of it. I can see that it would appeal to other readers, it just wasn't right for me.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In short, what a hoot. I loved this book. I read it in a day. I could not put it down past midnight. That's how much I barracked for both Hari and Cam. I wanted to know...
Hari is amazingly weird, quirky IT-goddess. She is super-smart, rich, talented and all there, even though sometimes she is way out there. Hari was too busy doing what she know and loves best to form any relationships and found herself uncoupled up when all her girlfriends have coupled up and snuggled up.
An accident at the supermarket makes Hari re-assess her love life or lack of thereof.
What she does next and how she does it is hilarious but justifiable.
There is a happy end. There is love and there is fulfillment. The way there is very original and unexpected. Sometimes I wanted to smack Hari over the head. Sometimes I truly identified with her.
A very light, bright, lovely and easy read.
A must for tired brain..

Unfortunately I couldn’t read the book. The version we are given, when downloaded onto the nook, has font so small, my eyes were hurting trying to read it. And there is no way to enlarge it. Sorry.

This book started out a little slow and I debated finishing it, but I am glad I did. I ended up loving the characters and falling a little bit in love with Cam. Laugh out loud in parts. I would definitely recommending sticking this one out. I did feel like the characters may have been introduced in other books, but I this was still enjoyable as a stand alone.

While this book is amusingly written and well shows the folly of believing in articles written in the popular press and magazines, I have a major beef with it. It is following a trend which shows female computing/mathematical whizz kids to be on the spectrum. To be lacking in the ability to communicate successfully with other people, and to have difficulty with emotions. I realise that this was always the usual portrayal of male computer/mathematical males but why? Music and maths for instance, are the 2 parts of the same ability? And why link what they can achieve intellectually with their human communicational abilities? It is too easy to use this for a story. Which means that despite my enjoyment and the humorous prose (btw the jokes were unnecessary) I am downgrading the book to a 3 star.

Loved this book!

Harriet is an interesting character. All her life she has been different, and now her greatest worry is her sexpiry date. Will she give Cam a chance when he would rather get to know her first

I have already bought the other books in this series to catch up on!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have read the first book in this series and quite enjoyed it. When I saw this come out I was hoping for the same funny and awkward situations and got my wish.
Cam is lovely and too good to be true, and Harriet is really funny, (and at times grating with the situations she gets herself into). They have a good dynamic together and their story is really sweet.
There was never a dull moment and was easy to read.
3.5-4 stars

Sexpiry is a stand-alone story, the third of a collection. I haven't read the previous books, so I can't compare them.
Now, I loved this book. It's funny, it shows romance, sex, friendship, all mixed up.
I enjoyed that Hari was the one having trouble with feelings, and Cam was the one ready to say I love you and wait for her.
Hari doesn't see the world like most people do. Relations and conversations are tough for her, and she has to rely on research to be able to talk to other people.
Cam is just a regular guy who wants to get to know her. He knows Hari is different, but he loves her because of that (not in spite of that!).
I will certainly look for more books by Tori Turnbull.

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for my ARC.
