Loved loved loved this book! Thea and Damien are so likeable despite their flaws and the relationship between them builds beautifully.
You can sense the attraction from the very beginning and it is a scorcher - one for the keeper pile!

I’ve followed Jackie Ashenden for a while now, and she just gets better and better. This is a sultry, sexy, emotional read that leaves you breathless.

I loved this sexy, scandalous story.

Complex, emotionally damaged characters, passionate, sensual love scenes. and an original meeting between the two main characters. All factors, which had me turning the pages to see what would happen to Thea, the streetwise but vulnerable heroine, when she meets, sexy as sin playboy Damian, who hides his generous heart well.

The emotional connection between Thea and Damian matches the passion, although it does have to play catch up. Their first encounter is purely intrigue and lust based. Thea's career, as someone who steals stolen items for the true owners, brings her into direct conflict with billionaire, Damian. The attraction is strong, and her quiet self-possession draws Damian in and threatens the walls he's built around his heart.

Both the characters are likeable. Although outwardly different, both have emotional scars. You want them to overcome their past issues, and find happiness together. The conflicts are many, both external and internal, but love finds a way.

Hot, hectic and heartwarming, this is a great start to what promises to be a memorable series.

A quick hot read.

There’s some truly steamy sex scenes to get your pulse racing and moments of real tenderness too.

Damian is one of the richest men in the world and is renowned for throwing lavish parties where anything goes. Thea is a theif who re-aquires stolen goods and returns them to their rightful owners.

When Thea is recruited to steal a necklace which Damian has recently bought she must gain her way into one of his exclusive parties! But after their eyes meet, Thea is thrown and this leads to her getting caught in the act... What will Damian do with her now that he has caught her?

A quick, easy read which you can pick up and read straight through, a good way to spend an hour!

An enjoyable read telling the story of Thea and Damien who meet in strange circumstances when he catches her trying to steal a priceless necklace from his office. Rather than calling the police, Damien in Thea proceed to engage in a dangerous game of flirting with each other, and when one thing leads to another, a no strings night of passion follows.
What I enjoyed about the story was that Damien and Thea are both fairly complex characters (credit to Jackie Ashenden who has a real talent for this based on reading this and her previous books) who each have their own issues, but find a connection with each other as they navigate their strange relationship. The fact that there is a story beyond the sex scenes adds depth to the plot, and as time goes on, you genuinely do root for Damien to overcome his trust issues and let Thea into his life on a more permanent basis. The characters are likeable and as a reader you do become invested in what happens to them which is good. I must say, I wasn't keen on how the first 'encounter' comes about after Damien finds Thea in his office because, as Thea's back story was revealed, her actions did seems slightly out of character, however, this aside, the story bubbles along nicely to the point where you want the two to be happy.
The concluding chapters are strong as Damien struggles to accept that he needs to overcome his past issues in order to move forward, and I enjoyed the closing scenes as he attempts to right his wrongs with Thea. As this is the first book in a mini-series, we will hopefully see more of Damien and Thea in future.

A quick and easy read - perfect for a rainy day.

A sexy, erotic, romantically based story, a good read.

A little too much repetative emphasis about Thea's Mr Chen for my liking. I felt it took away from the story, rather than adding it.

A nice read, finding, recognising, admitting and accepting love, with a happy ever after ending, in this romantic story.

This was good story that had strong characters that worked really well together!

Romance blooms in this story that was full of raunchy scenes and unexpected endings.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, it was a thoroughly enjoyable story and one I will be very highly recommending!

Steamy flirty fun. A great read full of passion and chemistry, great characters, a quick fast paced story that keeps you wanting more. This is one of the most fun and steamy books I’ve read from the publisher in awhile, so well done for taking on this author abc I hope there will be more to come from Jackie in future. A great read.
