Firstly thank you to the publishers for my copy on netgalley. I felt very lucky as Lindsey is a incredible author.I whizzed through this
Funny,warm and romantic.

A tale of taking the reigns back on your life and your identity.
To not settle and ask and expect more for yourself.

Friendships and family are central in Ros life . They are there to give her guidance and encouragement , but what happens when a ex reappears. Her parents were hilarious and having her living in a shed was the icing on the cake. And of course the right amount of eye candy . But surely Ros wont be looking anywhere other than at her ex /boyfriend now hes back ..which is what shes dreamt of…right?

A great summer read with fantastic charactars and Lindseys signature humour running through .

First time I have read anything written by Lindsey Kelk and wasn't disappointed. What have I been missing for all these years! Looking forward to reading more of her books.

I found this book to be enjoyable with interesting characters; it is one of those books that you can’t put down.

Unfortunately this book was not for me and I had I stopped reading after 20%. I found it all rather farcical. The ridiculous parents and everything being so over the top. I didn't gel with the main character either and found it a little boring.
Sadly this book simply isn't for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Comedic main character who thinks she knows what she wants but life doesn't always work that way...

Having read and enjoyed the I Heart series, I was keen to see where Lindsey’s next adventure would take us. In Case You Missed It follows Ros as she returns from three years in Washington. Back to her group of friends and back to her parents house in London. Feeling like a failure she struggles to fit back into her old life and wishes for the good old days. With a great group of friends, some love interests and plenty of wine, Ros is in for some fun times. An enjoyable read that I would definitely recommend. Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Collins UK and the author for the chance to review.

A light hearted, entertaining read with a good measure of oddball characters. Nothing to dislike about this book, it's pretty predictable in a comforting feel good way and would make a great chick flick.

I’ve read a few books by Lindsey Kelk and enjoyed them, so was looking forward to this.

This story didn’t quite hit the spot for me I’m afraid. It was an ok read at best.

2.5

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my review.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

This novel is a light and frothy rom com read which is easy reading. It has all of the essential rom com elements - boyfriend who is bad for her; gorgeous but standoffish man who she instantly dislikes; best mate support group; discovers boyfriend is a cad whilst falling in love with standoffish man ...

There was nothing different to the standard rom com story, but this is nicely written and is an easy read that you don’t have to think about - perfect for stressful times when you’re struggling to concentrate or when you don’t have much time and you can just dip in and out.

This was an okay read, but I won’t be seeking out any more novels by the author.

I swear.
She's done it again.
Lindsey Kelk has done it again.
I don't know how her books get more relatable, more enjoyable, or more hilarious, but they do. And it's comes across so effortless too.
Ros was a great character. I saw parts of myself in her and that's probably why I inhaled this book in two days.
Honestly, in case you HAVE missed it, read this book. Or any Lindsey Kelk novel.

32 year old media producer Ros Reynolds returns to the UK after 3 years in Washington DC. Her reentry isn't straightforward. Her loved up parents show her to a shed in the garden. Her friends have moved forward in their lives. Her lamented ex-boyfriend is surprisingly eager to pick back up again.

A light romcom, I found it mildly amusing in parts. I am a bit bemused by other reviewers enthusiasm for this book. I just didn't become immersed in it or feel remotely enthused.

Lindsey Kelk writes a light, bright, frothy, breezy and fun rom-com with many of the familiar tropes from the genre, but she wraps them up in a decidedly stylish, moreish and hilarious package. After a three year stint in Washington DC as a radio producer, an unemployed 32 year old Rosalind 'Ros' Reynolds returns home, only to cringe on seeing that her parents are in the throes of a midlife sexual renaissance, and have adapted the shed at the bottom of the garden for her to live in. In dire financial straits and desperate to get a job, the first thing she wants is to get back with her friends that mean almost everything to her, high powered lesbian lawyer, Sumi, the married to creepy Dave and now heavily pregnant, Lucy, and her longest best friend, the financially well off Adrian Anderson.

After putting out a universal I'm back email that in error reaches her ex-boyfriend, travel writer Patrick Parker, he gets in touch. For Ros, he is all she has ever wanted, okay her friends cannot stand him, but she is over the moon, rejoicing at the prospect of being back together with him. Life is beginning to look good and becomes even better when she finds a job almost immediately as a producer at PodPad. Her client at the company is a teen e-sport megastar, the mask wearing Snazzlechuff with a huge international following. It is made clear should she fail with him, she will be fired. A nostalgic Ros tries to resurrect the fun and joy of her twenties, organising skating outings, and more, but her friends are now in different places in their lives, and is she flogging a dead horse, trying to breathe life into her relationship with Patrick? Is it time for her to move on, particularly with the entry of barowner, John, into her life?

Kelk writes an uplifting, warm and comic rom-com that hits the mark with it's central protagonist, Ros, surrounded by a stellar supporting cast of characters, from her parents who want to renew their wedding vows, and a fabulous bunch of supportive friends who are there for her when things go wrong, or her world falls apart, whilst celebrating her successes with her. This is a engaging and entertaining read, full of mayhem and misadventures, of a Ros who comes to realise she has to learn to move on from the past and confront the challenges of life's realities, and get more in touch with who she is and what it is that she wants. A great read to escape the troubled realities of our contemporary world. Many thanks to HarperCollins for an ARC.

Oh I love a Lindsey Kelk book. You just know...you truly know...that it's going to be good. And this was no exception and certainly not a disappointment. I absolutely loved every page! I've been reading Lindsey's books for years and she's one of my favourite authors. She writes books perfect for Summer Sunshine and Winter Chills - regardless they will transport you to another world, sometimes another climate, and often someone else's drama so you can forget your own!

I adore Lindsey Kelk and lap up pretty much everything she writes. Her humour comes through in an easy way and makes reading her books so enjoyable.

In Case You Missed It is probably my favourite Lindsey Kelk book to date.

Ros is a brilliant lead character. So normal and regular, so flawed (in her own mind) and fond of looking backwards to so-called happier times. After leaving Washington DC, Ros returns home expecting to pick up where she left off, only to find that life hasn’t paused. Her friends and family have all progressed with their own lives. It takes Ros some time to readjust, realising there’s more fun in the future than in looking backwards.

Ros’ friends are great. Really well written and each with their own distinct personality. Patrick is vile, which is testament to how well the author has written him. Ros’ parents are cringey and perfect at the same time, and John...well, he’s awesome :)

The writing flowed well, chapters engaging and I devoured the book very quickly.

I loved the shed scenes and genuinely laughed out loud through many scenarios in the book. Lindsey Kelk is such a talented writer.

Thank you NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book 📚

The book was fine, just fine. It didn't take my breath away but I did finish it. It is something easy to read after the day full of wok.

I’ve been a fan of Lindsey Kelk for quite a number of years now, but this one just wasn’t my cup of tea. I found Ros a little judgemental - especially at the beginning. I think it was also the fact that two thirds of the way through, she’s still with an arrogant guy who really doesn’t care about her at all. In fact, she was unhappy with all aspects of her life for most of the book.

However, having said all that, this book was well written and easy to read. The characters are fun, and there’s a happy ending. I’ve given it 3 stars, which means it’s a good, enjoyable book. It was just missing something for me. I think Ros went from being miserable about everything, to everything being magically fixed, far too quickly - it felt squashed into the last 10%.

I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

Ros has moved back from overseas and when she gets a new phone accidentally messages her ex. The one that got away. When they get back together, she starts to wonder if maybe she was wrong to think he was the love of her life.
A true chick lit book. Funny and romantic in all the right places.
