This was a cute little book where the illustrations are just shapes put together to form things. I love this type of illustrating and I think it really added to the book.

This book is kind of boring. It's a list of what you need to do various work around a yard. The graphics are a step above stick figure but not in the cool trendy way. I could see someone liking this book but I wouldn't be buying it for my library.

Cute picture book for toddlers or babies. Has an interesting use of vocabulary and topic . Bright, simple colors and illustrations. Would be one I could imagine checking out from the library with a small child.

This is a cute book for young children about what is involved in cleaning the yard and making a garden.  There are pictures of the tools that are involved and pictures of them being used.  The book ends in a cute way with the yard workers needing a rest.  The only thing that I did not like about this well illustrated book was the use of the circle heads with no features at all.  I think that young children might be happier seeing a simple face.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Let's Fix Up the Yard is a great book for 6 months-3 year olds. The pictures and text are simple, and lend themselves well to vocabulary building and entertainment. The block styling of the illustrations is very clear, and ideal for younger children. Overall, an obvious addition to any library collection's preschool section.

Cute pictures, interesting topic, very basic book. Makes you think. What do we really need in life- not a lot really. Helps you focus on the basics.
