Such perfect timing for this book! Just when I lost inspiration to cook after following a keto diet (helpful, but not for me). The 'geeky' shows along Hunger Games, Serenity, Cowboy Bebop, Bladerunner -- oh man -- got me excited for cooking and Netflix. It's perfect for a theme home cook; after finishing a series, I'll do up a 5 course meal inspired by the show and this is such a great book to have as a resource! Simply laid out, with nice photos, numbered instructions, and best of all -- food that I don't normally prepare (lamb stew with plums, calamari gumbo) -- I'm done reviewing and off to the kitchen!
