This was a really good book.. it had its twist and turns.. you experience the characters emotions at their hard times. I couldn't imagine going through what Mason/Marcus has gone through, to loose your memory but still do good for others.. to help out those and grant them 1 wish..
This was a great book.. a page turner and could not put it down

A wish isn’t a hope. It’s a plea to the universe to make your deepest desires come true.

Fabulous book Mimi Jean.... just fabulous. Wish is a genie with a bottle story but also a romance with a twist. It has a wonderful cast of characters and some references to her previous books which I found to be cute. This is a standalone book about a young artist who connects with this genie through her artwork.

What did I like? The mysterious factor of Marus was perfect... he showed up and disappeared on whim. Ginnie though was my favorite... starving artist with romantic ideals and her inability to be like everyone else with a wish. I laughed throughout this book, and just really found it witty and charming. A perfect read that held my attention, and kept it until the end.

Would I recommend or buy? If you know Mimi Jeans books then you know what your getting. This is probably going to be one of my favorites by her. The book starts out fantastical but changes midway to make the genie part more realistic than magical. I enjoyed it immensely.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release! Five stars.... funny and charming story. I received a copy from Netgalley to read and give my opinion.

Amazing Cover Art!! This is a quick enjoyable read by an author who never disappoints this reader.
Ginnie is a women who has been wronged by the men in her past but happens upon a bottle with a note in it to MAKE A WISH! Normal women, myself included. would go with the flow and write down a message that would make my life easier. Ginnie is not like most. She does not want a free ride but wants to make her own way while helping others. Loved this story just for how the Wish Giver organizes all these bottles. "A copy of this book was provided by Paper & Silver inc. Via NetGalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

Ginnie makes art pieces from broken glass. She needs to make these pieces and hope that they sell because her ex took off with her money and left her with a mortgage that she can't afford.

Marus/Mr. Wish goes around granting wishes to people who find the glass bottles that he secretly puts around town.

Ginnie finds a glass bottle at a garage sale but some guy takes it from her and walks off with it. Later she finds the same bottle at a thrift store and takes it home with her. Inside the bottle is a piece of paper that says it will grant her one wish. But she thinks it's just some kind of joke until a guy knocks on her door and asks why she hasn't made her wish yet. Mr. Wish is at first a grumpy, kinda stalkerish guy that I have to say I really didn't like. He was a little pushy and showed up out of the blue and kept after Ginnie to make a wish when he knew she thought he was some weirdo.

What happens next was stunning and heartbreaking. Marus/Mason/Mr. Wish has a very complex background and as the secrets slowly unwound around him, I had so many emotions about him but in the end he really did redeem himself, it just took a while.

This story had my emotions all over the place but I stayed up until after midnight reading it because I could not put it down. I needed to see if things worked out and what would happen next. At one point I was shocked and felt so bad for Ginnie, but it's a good thing she's such a tough character because she really needed to be for a while.

This is the first book that I've read from this author but it won't be the last.

If you had one wish, what would you wish for?

Disclosure: I was given an ARC of this book via NetGalley but all thought and opinions are my own.

A fun read!

Ginny finds a glass bottle that contains a note telling her she has one wish - but she doesn't know what she wants.
Entertaining at times, and emotional at others

This was a surprising read! While it begins exactly as all magical tales should, it takes a turn and then another and another until I didn’t know where this story was going to end up.

When Ginnie finds an unusual vase, she soon finds herself face to face with a handsome, mysterious stranger who is offering her one wish for anything she desires. I loved that she didn’t automatically go for the obvious choice and because of it, her whole life changes.

I love stories that have some magic to them and while this one certainly took me in a direction I never saw coming, I loved every moment of it. Ranging from humor to a bit of darkness, I was completely engaged from beginning to end.

The first thing that comes to my mind now is

When it takes me 4 days to read a 300-pages book, that’s never a good sign. To be honest, at some point I grew too curious to drop it, but i thought about it a lot.

You can get a quarter of the whole picture by reading the blurb. What you don’t know is who’s the man who shows up at her door btw, he’s not just ringing her door bell, but breaking in a couple of times) and what’s with that note in the bottle.

For most of the time I was

Then I was

As I’m not one to offer spoilers in my reviews, can’t give you any more details about the plot, but I can try to describe my feelings. Well, my feelings are like this

Thankfully, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff tells me what I was thinking since the first page, but couldn’t put it into words:

“I want a fairy tale, but it has to be real.”

Nothing about this story can be real. I need a stronger word than “unbelievable” to explain this utopia.

“What in the steaming-pile-of-secrets is going on?”

The answer comes at the very end. Until then, I was shocked, rolled my eyes, huffed and puffed and wanted to

You know those dreams when nothing makes sense? This was “Wish” for me. I couldn’t connect with the story. The blurb should offer more information, because if I had known half the craziness of this book, I would have never requested the arc on Netgalley and be forced to read and review it. I would have dnf-it 25% in.

I’ve noticed it has a lot of good reviews, so it’s 100% a case of

I’m sure that chick-lit fans will actually enjoy it a lot. One thing I liked it was that genie in the bottle thing. Of course I constantly asked myself what would I wish for.

*This review contains spoilers*
I enjoyed many aspects of this story and most of them had to do with the "magic genie in a bottle granting wishes" and the other parts were just ok. This was the first book I've read by this author and I'll look for her work again in the future to see if I will continue to like her work. What bothered me the most was the ending. It took him 11 months to come back around, even though he claims to have remembered every moment with her and all of his feelings. It just jumped to this point where he shoes up out of the blue asking for another chance and I needed more. I needed his pov at the moment he wakes up in the hospital and I need way more groveling and I need it to have not taken him 11 months to get there because on principal alone for taking that long she should not have even listened to him let alone let him back in. Thanks for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I wish I may,
I wish I might,
have a genie of my own tonight!

Wish is an over the top adorable story with all the fun of a genie...with the attitude of a bratty 12 year old girl being told see can't go to the mall with her friends or use her phone. Lol. Well maybe bratty isn't the right word exactly, but brooding isn't either- though it seems sexier. So we'll go with brooding...

This genie is hot, cranky, and only out to grant your wish. Sounds like divine intervention right!?!? But there are a few catches and a teeny tiny problem...Ginnie doesn't have a wish.

It's sexy and cute with just enough intrigue to keep you guessing. So what's your Wish?

4 Stars to Wish upon!

Ginnie is your typical hippie child ... only caring about happiness and loving life ... money means nothing. Marus is a real life genie ... or should I say a Wish Man. He makes people wishes come true. But when Ginnie and Marus meet, both of their lives will change forever.

This is a cute romance that has all the fantasies of being in love. Marus is a dream come true ... but Mason was a nightmare. I could just feel the chemistry between Ginnie and Marus. A quick read that will have you laughing and swooning.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
This book is the perfect pick-me-up on a lazy afternoon. Filled with humour, romance and intrigue, it's a whole lot of fun, and hard to put down. The characters are easy to relate to, and you find yourself cheering on the leads to hurry up and get together already.
Told through Ginnie's POV only, with a HEA, this magical read will make you smile.

This book was definitely well written and funny at times but it wasn't for me! I like to slip into "their" world but the one was very far fetched lol and the H definitely was a jerkhole in the beginning! I'm sure some will definitely enjoyed reading this, it just wasn't for me! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
