This was a fun historical romance read. Margaret is a kind, intelligent and insecure heroine. Unlike most single women of the ton, she isn't willing to trick a very single and handsome duke into marrying her.....but her mother is! She ties Margaret to the Duke of Jevington's bed in order to "catch" him compromising her. Margaret is not having it though. She goes to great lengths to save the Duke, and herself, from being forced into a marriage. In return for getting him out of this predicament, Margaret asks for one dance in order to make men see her as desirable. Jevington doesn't deem this as nearly enough to help her land a husband and comes up with a scheme on his own to land a Duke for Margaret. I definitely recommend this to lovers of historical romance novels.

Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the advanced readers copy. All thoughts in this review were my own.

This highly amusing, romantic and fun. When Margaret's mother tries to force a marriage between her and the Duke of Jevington, which Margaret escaped from, her friend Daisy tells her that the only way she can avoid another trap is to marry someone quickly. Daisy tells her to ask the Duke to dance with her, therefore generating interest. But, even though he is very grateful to her for her refusal to be a party to a forced marriage, he tells her no. Instead, he's going to have a house party, invite all his Duke friends and get her a husband. Jasper is very kind and charming, but he's also a bit scatter brained and impulsive, which is very amusing. Margaret is insecure and vulnerable, yet determined to not force him into marrying her. This is a truly entertaining series.

Margaret's got one of those scheming Mama's that all titled bachelor's run from. She ties Margaret to Jasper's bed in order to ruin her and force a marriage. Jasper votes to help Margaret and another Duke because he has no interest to marry and Margaret needs to find her own husband before her mother forces something else. Jasper swears he will never marry, but that was before Margaret.
Don't these guys know that if they try to get rid of a girl by handing her to one of his friends they will decide they want to keep her? It's funny to see them realize that they just may have messed up.

Margaret Carberry is a shy, quiet, incorrigible wallflower. Her father is wealthy, but alas his wealth was made in trade. Her mother has high hopes for Margaret, that she will marry, maybe even a duke. Since Margaret won't help herself, Mrs. Cranberry has arranged for her to be found in a compromising position in the bed of the Duke of Jevington.. However, Margaret and Jasper upset those plans when she escapes her mother's setup. Why does Jasper want to help her find a his among one of his friends? Even though he does not want to be serious about anything, why is she in his thoughts constantly? I am a big fan of Bianca Blythe's books. She certainly knows how to tell a take with a touch of humor. Such enjoyable reading! Her heroine 's are a bit irregular, but very likeable. I do hope Ms. Blythe plans on writing a story for Margaret's friend, Daisy.

Seduction. Romance and more romance.
Good plot.
Story develops slowly as it continues.
By mid of the book I was hooked.
I am glad I did not quit this book.
The book was great!

This book started so well. I loved the set up of Margaret tied to the bed and being discovered by Jasper. The author had plenty of opportunities to make this a five-star story. There were elements that had she committed would have been hilarious. There were also times when the author could have injected some action and danger, but once again, she shied away from it, taking what could have been a page-turner into a sedate bore. This book was an okay read, but it could have been so much more.

This book was not for me. With all the squeaking, leg shifting and preponderance of words, I had a difficult time wading through this story. I gave up about the half way mark.

I absolutely loved this book. It's hilarious from start to finish. Margaret is a lovely heroine - not too saccharine and not so perfect that she alienates the reader. In fact, her imperfections are what make her so fun. Jasper is completely oblivious, trying to set her up with his friends while slowly realising that he was meant for her. I laughed and had a tear in my eye and finished it in 2 hours.
Looking forward to the next in the series.

This book could have been great, however, the characters just didn't work for me. The story line was really good, but it never really grabbed me and had me speed reading to get to the next part.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was a little shorter than I was expecting but it was an enjoyable way to pass an evening! The characters were well written and I'm looking forward to reading more in this little universe.

All You Need is a Duke was a fun, lighthearted read, and Jasper and Margaret are definitely cute together. However, it was so lighthearted that I often felt it missed the possibility of heavier emotional beats—even when the bones of those moments were there, it all felt a little too light and airy, sweeping right over the potential for the characters' pain and fear and suffering to be delved into more deeply, which would ultimately have created a more satisfying, impactful conclusion.

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Margaret is shocked when her mother drags her into the bedroom of a duke and proceeds to tie her to the bed. She knew her mother was desperate to see her married, but didn't know she would go to such lengths. When the duke find her and unties her, she lets him know that she had nothing to do with the plat to ensnare him and together they foil her mother's plot.

Jasper can't believe what has just happened in his bedroom. Grateful for Margaret's help in foiling the plot, he offers to help her find a husband. One of his fellow dukes should do nicely, so he has a house party to introduce her to all of them. The only problem seems to be that the more time he spends with her, he think he might like to keep her for himself...

I really enjoyed Margaret and Jasper's story. Normally when you have a scheming mother, the daughter falls right in line with it. In this case Margaret does everything in her power not to. I enjoyed watching these two dance around each other and seeing Jasper getting jealous of the time his friends spent with Margaret. This was a great start to a new series and I'm really looking forward raining the rest of the dukes' stories!

Margaret Carberry's mama is determined that her daughter marry and the man she's set her eyes on is the Duke of Jervington. When Margaret escapes her mama's attempt at compromising the Duke, he decides the help her find a Duke among his friends. Only Jasper can't stop thinking about Margaret and don't forget that kiss. Funny and touching, a very entertaining romp.

This was a really fun book to read - the combination of a wallflower and an incredibly determined mother who wants to climb the social ranks with a Duke for her daughter gives lots of great humorous moments in this story.
Margaret is a lot more courageous than she originally thought and jumping of of the window - well..
I like this series start and will certainly read more of them.
The houseparty was a good idea too even though it didn't really work for the Duke in the way he wanted it to. But this means we have several more Dukes to find out about their romances and have been introduced to them in preparation for the rest of the series..

I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free copy. I so loved this book. It was funny. The characters were very witty and very dramatic in their own way. Margaret’s mother was over the top with drama, but I loved it.
Frankly if I had a mother like that, I would have committed her to some insane asylum. Boy how did her husband put up with her?! The writing had fluid to it. Some areas may have slowed for me, but once the humor picked I continued reading. The romance between Margaret and Jarves slowly evolved in the book, but I much rather prefer that it started in the beginning with a strong desire from one another in the beginning of the book.
Then continue on a steamy passionate ride through the book. For example stolen kisses here or there. Maybe, a passionate love making in Jarves’s room. Towards the end the story had to much details that was not related to the issue at at hand. Then for the last page, the coming together of the couple was one line.
? Anyway, the book was good, but give it more steamy, hot passion, with an abundance of bed four play.

Margaret and Jasper are perfect for each other. There is just one problem...they don't know it. Thrown together they try to find a match for Margaret, but is that what either of them want. The author does a splendid job of bring this couple together.

It amazes me on how family would scheme to make sure you married well, well according to them. So here we meet Margaret Carberry a wallflower whose interest are definitely different than her momma, so her crazy momma ties her to the bed, yeah you read correctly, luckily for Margaret she is saved from this spectacle from a well meaning Duke. And this part I found funny. The story starts from there. The craziness begins..Enjoy! A little slow for me.

I reviewed this through #NetGalley.

This is a charming and well written historical romance. It follows the story of a matchmaking mama, her daughter’s attempt to escape her plans, and a helpful Duke. The storyline was unique, if the characters and such were not particularly exciting.

My only complaint is that we didn’t get to know the heroine’s female friends well enough to Particularly anticipate the next book in the series. However this one was well written enough that I will still read the next book. Overall a nice book, good characters, and the sweet ending.

I enjoyed this book right from the beginning. From the giggling mother to the room full of dukes. Margaret has a great personality and easy to like. Jasper was also very likable with his desire to see Margaret married off. Great read!!
