Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. DNF. Characters were too complicated and different. The writting was broken and hard to follow. You may enjoy this book but I did not.

Battle for Earth - Shockwave by Hammer Tolkin gives a reader something extraordinary to read. A world of invading aliens, bugs and monsters that overtook life on earth makes us anxious but interested during all time of the read. The storyline provides an exceptional contribution to the science fiction genre and allows the reader to experience the challenges the characters Rock and Roll face, Mr. T and Para. The book provides a detailed but easy-to-read understanding of alien battles, removing bugs and fight for survival. Readers who want to dive into a world of battling aliens, bombs and missions to get rid of the invaders, this book offers all we need.

Battle for Earth - Shockwave gives us the pleasure of an imaginative world focused on the strive against invaders and the surprises they give. Readers who enjoy science fiction most definitely will enjoy this read.

Wow, this was an interesting book! I loved the premise of the world building. The characters are really cool, and the magic system (in lack of a more suitable word) is fantastic.

It I have to pick one thing that threw me a bit, it was all the abbreviations and technical speach. It didn't worsen the reading experience for me, though, and it gave the book a cool mix of ''professional sci-fi'' and young adult.

In the book Battle For Earth, author Hammer Trollkin begins the Shockwave series. Trollkin chose to write this in a journal style with Viz telling her story like a diary. Earth is being invaded by bugs from another galaxy. Shockwave is a group of teens that have discovered special abilities that will help them save humanity.
I enjoyed the story but I did not like the journal writing style with all the AI drops. I received a copy of this e-book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I thought this Scifi YA novel had a lot of promise.the author utilized the journal format to tell the story of an alien invasion and a group of brave young people with super powers. The problem arose when I couldn't tell who was speaking or what was happening due to the constant shift in subject matter. The narrator was unreliable and lost focus on the storyline often. If it didn't have these shifts the novel would be a fantastic read.
