An easy, quick read that was just okay for me. There wasn’t much excitement at all. I would have liked to see the Native American story line followed a lot more than it was.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was exciting, had a good storyline and kept me interested. I liked the characters apart from Jason who got what he deserved. This was an easy book to read and recommend it to be read.

Perhaps the genre would be better stated as an Old West Fantasy. It seemed to me to have far too much in the way of 21st century norms, ideas and language. I’ve no quarrel with the execution, but the plot may stretch credulity a bit. Which brings me right back to the concept of the plot. I just can’t see portions of it as taking place in the old west. I’ve not read other reviews and have no notion what they think. I good rewrite with an eye on the people and times might help.
