I love Tiffany Reisz and the way she creates these hard-to-put-down stories. "The Priest" is part of her "Original Sinners" series and a reader would do well to be familiar with the earlier books although it may be read as a standalone. Not only do we get the unholy trinity (Nora, Soren, and King) now living in New Orleans in all their glory, but in "The Priest" Nora plays amateur detective to help solve a mystery involving a former cop, a witch, and a priest who committed suicide. I love these characters with all my heart and catching up with them is akin to checking up on good (albeit kinky) friends.

Tiffany Reisz is a wonderful writer. Her books are never "justs". Never just erotica, never just crime, never just anything but good!

I absolutely loved this book. It's always like a special gift when Tiffany Reisz adds to the story of her wonderful Original Sinners books, and this one did not disappoint.

Cyrus is a great new addition to the cast, and I suspect and hope he will turn up in future stories. This book definitely left the door open for more of the saga.

Without giving anything away, I must add that I appreciated the ending and how the far-reaching repercussions worked out. Thank you to the author for that.

I give this book a whole-hearted five-star rating and hope for more soon!

I am so glad I’ve not had to work this week. I did not want to put this book down. I have read every single book created by the goddess Tiffany Reisz, and did not think I could love Soren and Nora more but it’s happened. I have missed them so much.

This is easily one of my favorite books from Tiffany. I loved everything about it. If you like romantic suspense and BDSM erotica, you will love this and anything she has written. It can be read standalone, but I recommend reading the series in order.

The Priest is book #9 in a series. A series that I have not read. That said, I had no trouble reading it and following it. Also, wow! Now I must go back and start at the beginning! This was a great book and I really enjoyed it.

It was so good to have a new book from my favourite kinky family. It’s no secret that I’m in love with Søren and Nora, so I just had to grab this book as soon as I saw it was out early and I loved every single word of this book.
This story had a completely different feel about it as it was more of a thriller than an erotic book. I’ve got to say I was totally shocked and horrified at the out come of the mystery of why Father Ike killed himself. It was inevitable that Nora was going to question her own life and choices.
I’ve been left with so many unanswered questions about Nora and Søren that there has got to be another book.
As always this Tiffany has given me another favourite to add to my collection.

If you are not familiar with this author, try her series. This one belongs to continuity of the title The Queen. Her books are not only steamy and shall be read by adult audience, but the author has a talent for creativity in her books. You are going to like her books or completely don't like it. Everyone is different.

4.5 Stars!

Continuing in the Original Sinners timeline, Nora Sutherlin has relocated to New Orleans with her chosen family. While Søren is suspended for one year and Kingsley and Juliette are expecting baby number two, a local priest is found dead and Nora was his last phone call. A local detective, Cyrus Tremont, is hired to get answers, but after meeting Nora, he discovers there may be many more questions.

This plot skirts the dividing line between an Original Sinners book and a spinoff. While I liked aspects of both, I was torn at times because I really wanted to delve more into certain plot developments between Nora and Søren which kept me captivated. However, I also enjoyed how Nora and Cyrus cultivated their friendship while investigating the case.

As usual, Nora is in typical form, as well as, the Søren and Kingsley. The depth of these characters is ever apparent, showing a range of humor, pain and ultimately love. Selfishly, I would have liked to peek in the window of Søren’s bedroom on one particular night and absolutely loved the ultimate adventure on another night.

The Priest is an erotic story with mystery yet also delves into the weakness and strengths of its characters.

“That’s Mistress Little One to you.”

The unholy trinity, together with Kingsley's family, are settling and enjoying their life in New Orleans and with Søren being suspended, he and Nora were enjoying and basking their new found layer in their relationship. “This is weird, walking with you at night in public.”

When Nora's business card is found on a priest who committed suicide, our residence dominatrix, being quite intrigued, becomes a concerned sleuth together with PI Cyrus Tremont.

I liked this new route [author:Tiffany Reisz|4480131] has taken. Not the only the endeavour in trying to resolve the why behind the suicide, but also the mystic of New Orleans was a compelling combination.

While Nora is indulging her new sleuthing ambition, Søren is watching and making sure she is mindful and taking precautions. And he sure as hell makes sure they are both content and satisfied. And his gift to Nora? Awesome, “It’s incredibly…generous? Let’s go with that. Incredibly generous—and brave—of you to offer.”

While I'll always relish getting back in touch with the unholy trinity, this was so very different from the other books. I missed King and would have really liked to read his and Søren's scene.

“After last night, he’ll be needing more than a day to recover,” Søren said with a little sinister note of giddiness in his tone.

The Priest is a book that’s part of The Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz. You could read it if you haven’t read the series and still understand the story but I think it’s better if you know the full back story of it all. I love the series and this book didn’t fail me at all. The Priest is an amazing story about a Catholic priest who ends up found in a Parish’s house with the Mistress Nora’s card in his pocket and one of the detectives decides to ask a friend of hers who is a private investigator to look more into this case. They are in New Orleans which is primarily Catholic and the Church is telling the cops to not look into it too much is why she’s asking a P.I. to just dig a littler deeper. Cyrus the PI digs and meets Mistress Nora and learns about her history and is totally a new world. They decide to work together to figure it out. It’s a great story from a wonderful series. I love the characters and you will love the new ones added in this book.

I am so excited to be back in the world of the Original Sinners. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve seen these characters in action. I’ve really missed these kinky weirdos and can’t believe that we’re going to be getting more books with them. No one does erotica like Tiffany Reisz. I cannot giver her or her books enough praise.

WARNING: Due to sexual content, this story is for mature (18 and over) audiences only.

The 9th installment of The Original Sinners series is here, and oh man is it a journey! This story takes us into some of the darker realities of life, makes us question things we thought we knew, and brings us more of our favorite sinners as they try and settle into their new lives in New Orleans.

As is the case when you pick up a novel from this author, you are immediately immersed in her world. Each time I read one of these stories, it feels like a homecoming, and these characters feel like old familiar friends. One of the things I most enjoy is that these stories stay fresh and new despite this now being the ninth book (not including the other various novellas that have been put out).

Even the introduction of a new (totally vanilla) character only heightens the enjoyment of the reader, watching as Nora, Søren, and even Kingsley open Cyrus' eyes to a world he knew nothing about brought about more than one laugh out loud moment (and can we take a moment to talk about the friendship forged between him and Nora? I adored every moment they spent exchanging witty comebacks). There were some twists and turns that I didn't see coming, and a conclusion that I admit at first I didn't expect. Ms.Reisz definitely makes the reader think about some rather tough topics that they may not want to address.

However, unlike prior novels in this series, I do think that you need to have read at least one of the other novels in this series for this one to truly make sense (especially parts of the ending). Nora especially has a beautiful ARC when you see how far she's come from the first book. I will definitely read more from this author!

I fall more in love with this world with each story I read. I can't really say for sure if you could read a lot of these books without being a little (?) lost, but I think you could read this one on it's own and be fine. There's enough original storyline and new characters.

The Priest is basically a sexy and humorous murder mystery. With some of your fave people- Mistress Nora, Soren, King, and Nora's new friend and detective Cyrus, along with his fiance. There's a hint of paranormal, just a touch, but they live in New Orleans so it's not that odd. I was so totally drawn into the story.

There's all the heated scenes you would expect from this author, with some deep emotional conversations, witty banter, and I really enjoyed all the action. Nora is helping Cyrus figure out why a priest died. It leads them down a rabbit hole and I could read ten more books about them as a crime solving duo.

Siiiiiiiggggghhhhhh. I love this series. Every book has been better than the one that came before it (except for The Saint, that's the best book ever written). The Priest was a little different, but no less amazing. It reads more like a crime novel/mystery than erotica. Oh, don't worry, there's still plenty of kink, but it's like a secondary character instead of the main plot. Reisz's flawless writing is part of what makes this book so enjoyable. She has the gift of storytelling and you will be glued to the pages from start to finish. The pace, the wit, the heartbreak are all on point. I'm still riding the high and I'm sure I'll have a book hangover for days to come.

I loved being back in the Original Sinners world with Nora and the gang it just felt like being home all cosy with a hot cup of tea and roaring fire . Even though Nora is far from cosy and if told her that she probably would hurt me. I loved seeing old and new characters and The Priest had a more mystery element to the story which I liked. I enjoyed following the mystery but did start to suspect what was happening toward the end. It has the usual sex and "romance", romance doesn't quite feel like the right word but it had it. I loved the setting this time we are in New Orleans one of my favourite places. One thing about Tiffany Reiez writing is it makes you think particularly around religion and ethics. All the stuff in Nora's past finally comes to a head and she realises some things and it was heartbreaking to read. Overall I really enjoyed The Priest and couldn't put it down.

The beginning of a new era in The Original Sinners series is here and it's terrific. To be honest I couldn't put down The Priest. Why you might ask. Because it's:
✩ a (kinky) sexy suspense novel
✩ set in the crazy world of New Orleans
✩ amazingly well-written and highly entertaining
✩ humorous, sweet and weird, plus provoking
✩ felt like a homecoming but introduces us to a fantastic new character as well.

My favorite quote:
"Funny how the worst thing that happened to a man could turn out to be the best thing sometimes."

A new book in the Original Sinners series, so that means more Nora, Soren en King.

There is a different vibe in the book, mainly because there is an introduction of a new character Cyrus and there is the death of the priest. And the question why did he kill himself.

Nora and Soren are also dealing with his leave of absence from the Church and they are come to see certains events in a new light. It shifts the relationship between them.

There is a lot of food for thought, but the book also made me laugh out loud. That was because of the interaction between Cyrus and Nora.

This. Book. Was. Amazing. ......All. The. Feels.

Anyone living in a shoe box might not have heard of this series that is just Phenomenal.... I loved it.
It makes every kind of love just feel possible. Father Ike commits suicide and police ask Cyrus to quietly question around. Nora’s card was found in the Priests pocket.

So from the last book Soren had been excommunicated by the Jesuits for a year for having a child with a married woman. In the start of this book he is still missing. Cyrus uses Nora to investigate Father Ike’s disturbing suicide.

From the book Cy vs Nora...

Just…I’m supposed to have a female friend. A woman in my life who I’m not related to who I can confide in and be friendly with. Paulina said today you might be a good candidate for the job.”(Cyrus)
“Me? Why me?” (Nora)
“Throw me in the deep end, I guess.” (Cyrus)
“And I’m the deep end?” (Nora)
“You are definitely not the kiddie pool, lady.”(Cyrus)

Cyrus and Nora begin their relationship on the straight and narrow since he is pledged to Paulina. Soren however comes back and takes some of Nora’s focus.

“Eleanor, you really should know better by now,” he said. “Never flirt with a sadist in a well-stocked dungeon.”(Soren)

This book is so good.

What did I like? Kingsley...Juliette...Nora....Soren...gangs all here. There is a sadness that hovers the book though, like Nora won’t find a HEA. It rips out your insides. 61% in I want to hurt Soren. Ugh imagine a BDSM scene that hurts you and magnify it by ten. This writer is the perfect sadist.

Would I buy or recommend? I’m typing into Amazon on my other hand......I want this on my shelf. I love this whole series. It kills you with feels you can die from. This is one series you just don’t forget. Soren and Nora are written in the stars.

Thoughts for the author? Sadistic pleasure anyone? I’m fried. Paulina and Cyrus were perfect. Catholic Church will always be up in arms....things happen. Unruly fetishes and Catholic priests that put themselves down before harm....
Amen. Five amazing stars.
