Lovely book to read. I couldn’t put it down once I started it. It’s a lovely feel good story. It was well written. Flowed well. It was a mixture of emotions reading it.

This was a super cute book, exactly what I was expecting, but in a good way. It was the second in a series however and I feel like I may have missed out on a few things and had the first book spoiled before I had a chance to read it. Apart from that, I enjoyed the book and would recommend.

The first book of Alisons I have read and believe this is part of a series. I read this in 2 days, it was very hard not to read in one sitting,
Absolutely loved loved loved it, and it won’t be my last one by this author. Thankyou so much for letting me read .

If I’m really honest I was completely disappointed by this book. The main character, who I quite liked in the first book, was unrecognisable in her reckless behaviour and car crash decision making. I couldn’t relate one little bit.

I was happy to read the second instalment in this series and meet old and new characters.
It was a poignant and heartwarming read even if I think that sometimes the writing felt stilted.
It's engrossing and entertaining and the characters are fleshed out and relatable.
An enjoyable read, recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Having very much enjoyed the first in the Birdie and Bramble series, I was looking forward to heading back to St Andrews for another installment. This was an enjoyable book overall but I'm not sure it would stand on it's own. It felt a little like it was being used to set up the events for another book to follow.

All of the familiar characters from the first book return and there are some new faces too, some who add to the story positively, others are there to create drama and cause waves. I enjoyed the restaurant thread of the story and hope that both Claude and Javier remain at the Birdie and Bramble. The romantic element is nice enough and was enjoyable to a point.

Unfortunately, I have to say the writing was let down a little for me when the author felt the need to tell the reader the cup size of Maddy's bra (relevance?) and then use her weight as a specific comparison to her rival for Jack's affections. It was a shame to see a bright, independent character being written using such stereotypical, shallow language.

The second book in this series.

Maddie is back in Scotland, and everything seems to be a disaster. Just as she thinks she is getting everything sorted, someone from Jack's past appears and everything changes. Can't help but dislike him as he does not seem to handle things very well.

An emotional read.

This is the second book in the Birdie and Bramble series.
Maddy has returned from travelling to find that things have gone downhill at the restaurant in her absence. Feeling guilty, she tries to make amends, but makes the problems worse.
There are new characters in this book who have varied personalities, which makes the storyline more interesting.
A lot of the characters have flaws, so it is more realistic and relatable.
I really enjoyed reading this book, there was plenty of drama and romance. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

Really enjoyed this fabulous story set in St Andrews in Scotland. The Birdie and Bramble restaurant is in a mess but is turned around by the efforts of the team lead by Maddy. Unfortunately I hadn't read the first book in the series (although I will rectify that immediately) but it didn't matter as I got into the story quickly and was able to follow the story with ease. In fact I devoured the story in one day and loved the characters involved in the running of the restaurant and in managing Maddy's life. The ending is perfect and will lead nicely into the next book which I can't wait to read. However, my one niggle with this book is Maddy herself - her self-absorption borders on annoying at times and I really hope she is a lot less selfish in her next outing.

Loved reading the first book and the same goes for this book.
After going on a trip around the world, Maddy comes home to find her business partner signed off.
She then finds she needs to take over the restaurant and sets to hiring a chef and look for somewhere to live.
Things don’t run smoothly when looking for a good chef.
Find accommodation isn’t going good either.
But things start to look up and with Jack too.
But twists come in Maddy’s life again as well as some good news. Can’t wait for the next book.
Such a lovely book, enjoyed reading it.

Please note that this is the second book in The Birdie and Bramble series so this book may contain spoilers if you have not read the first one.

I have never requested a book on NetGalley as quickly as I did with Snowfall at The Birdie and Bramble. I absolutely loved the first book and had been on the lookout for the next book in the series.

I was so god damn happy to be back in this world with these characters who honestly felt like old friends of mine. Maddy is such a relatable and realistic character who I cannot help but love so much. She has her flaws and while some of her actions in this book left me cringing a bit it just made her more human.

I loved the introduction of new characters who I honestly love just as much as the older characters and I loved the return of well loved and side characters from New Beginnings at The Birdie and Bramble.

Alison Craig has a way of writing that makes you feel as if you lived in this world, that you visited The Birdie and Bramble and that you could almost smell and taste the amazing food she describes. I would kill to have a restaurant like this near me!

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I smiled, I laughed and I even cried for Maddy. It was so hard for me to put down and when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about the story and these characters.

I cannot wait to read the next book in this series and any future books Alison Craig writes!

Thank you to NetGalley, Alison Craig and Orion Publishing Group for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely loved it, this was devoured in 24 hours as I was so excited to read this. Just as addictive, entertaining and emotional rollercoaster of a read as book one. I sat cursing what are you doing Maddie and no Jack, no. I find when I do this I know I’m in over my head and I am loving it. The cast of characters around Maddie and Jack are just amazing too. I loved it so much and I am just gutted I have to wait until September to read the next book. I need to know yesterday! Completely addictive and thoroughly enjoyable book, the kind that will make you cry out and laugh out as you go. Brilliant.
