Yesss, I really liked this!

Though this is the third book in the Pretty Thieves series, it's the first book of this author I've tried and it can totally be read as a stand-alone.

This was action-packed and thrilling right from the get-go, just the way I like it! Though nothing mind-blowing and even pretty predictable at times, I enjoyed the hell out of this!

What happens when an undercover FBI agent is ordered to kill a thief? Especially when the thief is a beautiful woman. Rhett is the FBI agent whose working for a crooked senator. Peyton was hired to steal an envelope from the senator! Can Rhett save her after she is caught and perserve his cover! What’s in the envelope?

It had action, and romance from the start and was an addictive read.

The plot was very good and developed and the characters were strong and worked well together too.

I flew through the pages and found it was a very easy story to read and follow.

It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!!

This was a fast paced, action and romance book and certainly kept me on my toes with what would happen next!

This book had me anticipating on whar would happen next. It was engaging from the beginning. You can expect to receive romance, action, and suspense.

This was a fast paced action romance novel. A quick read with all the feelings of watching a movie. I did enjoy how everything was going and the pace was solid. The story revolves around Peyton, a thief and Rhett, a FBI agent and how their tangled encounter leaves both of them running from danger while trying to survive. I liked the couple and liked how the story tied everything up in the end.

Straight Shooter is the third book in the Pretty Thieves Series. This is my first book by Samantha Keith but I can guarantee this will not be my last.

Although Straight Shooter is part of a series it can be read as a standalone however I think it would be beneficial to read the books in order to help understand the dynamics between the characters. Saying that, I did just dive straight into Straight Shooter but I can not wait to go back and read the other books in the series.

Straight Shooter had me hooked from the first page. It's full of action and faced paced which leaves you needing to keep turning the pages. Rhett and Peyton have undeniable chemistry right from the start, watching their connection bloom was just adorable. Rhett was the perfect protective hero whilst Peyton was just an all round sassy bad ass.

If you enjoy angsty, action packed romances this book is a must!!!

Straight Shooter is the third book in Samantha Keith’s Pretty Thieves and is a well-rounded story with and abundance of action, drama, angst and seriously sexy too. There’s no denying the combustible chemistry between Payton and Rhett, but first they must come to terms with their opposing sides of the law, and the fractions determined to end their lives. There is plenty of sizzle and spark in this story and a satisfactory storyline of mystery and intrigue to back up the sex and romance. Ms Keith has penned an acceptable addition to the Pretty Thieves series.

A book that packs a punch in a short but well thought out story. A great mix of romance and action that will have you wondering what's next. This book is part of a series but I feel that it could be a stand alone even though characters from the previous books are mentioned.

Peyton Risk had one job to do "get an envelope on a senators yacht." What she didn't plan on was getting caught and at the mercy of the Senator's goon aka undercover FBI agent Rhett Callahan. Rhett cannot believe that in all his years of service to the FBI, he is willing to risk it all for Peyton- a thief.

Against, his better judgement he whisks her away and they race against the clock to untangle the intricate web of lies, deceit, betrayal that surrounds the Senator and his son who is a major suspect. As the truth slowly comes to light, would Rhett be asked to sacrifice everything he has worked for to save a woman who may just become the most important thing to him?

So I didn't know this was part of a trilogy, so I am not too sure If I am missing anything. However this book was a train ride, I mean we have suspense and action from the get go. So we meet Paeyton who is a thief and she is tasked with getting information from an envelope that is to be had by the senator, unfortunately Peyton is caught and tortured and almost raped- my heart was beating for her. Luckily Rhett saves her from that however Rhett is a FBI agent out to get info also..Who is good and who is bad..I tell you what you wont be bored.

My Review
I really enjoyed reading this fast-paced and excellent novel. But it leaves one wanting for more. The twists and turns leaves you breathless. When it slows down you expect it to end, only to be thrust once more in to the fast-flowing river of the plot. The novel keeps your mind engaged and rarely did I miss the plot and the Book’s main characters. The writer wins the reader’s heart as she has kept the number of the protagonists to a manageable number. It is a page-turner.
What I liked most about the book is that it brings out to the fore that a human being’s life can be turned around from a sordid past to being a productive member of the society as exemplified by Peyton when she abandons life of crime, joins Milo and Serena’s business, marries Rhett and, at last, finds her own family!

I enjoyed reading this series so much! Pretty Thieves #1 was my first experience reading this author's work and she impressed me with the first book so much that I had to read the second and third books and they've just gotten better and better! This is Peyton's story and what a story she weaves. Everything I love in a romantic suspense is encapsulated in these books. Edge of your seat moments, steamy and sexy times, interesting multi-faceted, well developed characters and a plot that really makes you think. I loved these characters and I was sorry to see them go when I finished reading their stories. I'll be waiting patiently for the next release from this author! Another great read! A well written book with plenty of action, drama and angst and we mustn't forget the sizzling hot sex that rounds it out. When Peyton a thief is hired to steal a letter of a senators boat sh has no idea the repercussions that will occur First she is caught and nearly raped by his bodyguards then a super hot man comes to her rescue A amn that has to escape with her when the crew and bodyguards turn on him The only problem is that the man is Rhett and he is a undercover FBI agent. What secret did she almost uncover that has caused this reaction Who is hunting her and Rhett and can she leave her criminal past behind and have a future with Rhett You will have to read to see

Short, fast pace sexy romance with just enough action to keep suspense readers intrigued. Like all of Samantha Keith the stories move along fast pace than a choice or action a character does causes the whole story to come to a halt. The romance is steamy and takes over most of the short under 200 page book. The story is a stand alone novel. Reader will not need to play catch up from the other two books in the series.

Straight Shooter is the latest installment in Samantha Keith's Pretty Thieves series, and it follows Peyton and Rhett - two characters that we've seen before - as they work together to try and take down a corrupt politician.

Peyton is a thief with a chequered past, whilst Rhett is an FBI agent. They couldn't be more different, but somehow Keith writes a pair that completely click. Their interactions are charged and each encounter builds the tension brilliantly.

Although this is a romance, it also has a generous helping of action, with a plot that doesn't stop from the opening page. I've loved this series, and I hope others do too!
