A breezy read, perfect for the summer holidays. I was happy to revisit Haylah's world again, and the storylines feel so realistic (parental rejection, new step-parents, distant friends etc.). Sometimes the language makes me cringe a little but it's a perfect read for the intended age group, with relatable characters.

For some reason I expected this book to centre around different characters from 'Pretty Funny' but I was so happy when I realised we were back with Haylah, the comedy genius! Just as with the first book, I found myself laughing out loud at her routines - especially when she pretended to be Stacey Beatch!

I thought it dealt with Haylah's dad returning really well and I am hoping there will be a third book so I can see how that pans out. I loved Dylan (even if he is a bit clueless) and I still think Leo is Satan's spawn.

'Pretty Rude' follows the story of Haylah, an aspiring comedian, and her struggles with the usual teen angst, all met with great comedy timing!

After reading 'Pretty Funny' I was delighted to discover that the story would continue with the sequel 'Pretty Rude'. This book was an quick read which had some real laugh-out-loud moments!

There are some real loveable characters in this book although Haylah can be quite irritating at times; but we all have our moments! I particularly loved her 5 year old brother, Noah, who is beginning to develop his own unique sense of humour!

Predictable at times but very relatable,  easy to follow and entertaining.

Thanks for letting me read. I will definitely be recommending it :)

Pretty Rude was a funny quick witted book about Haylah as she struggled through family drama and YouTube fame!

This book was hilarious and the writing was absolutely brilliant. I found Haylah a bit arrogant at times but she was very funny. I especially loved her rants!

The plot wasn't very unique but the writing and characterisation made up for it!

This book was a quick light read and I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the E-arc!
