This is such a great book. It gets kids in the habit of writing/drawing and really expressing themselves. They can use their imagination and their descriptive skills to either create something or tell some of their own story. It is a great way to practise so many skills, as well as get them to create a memory book, which both of you will love in the future.

What a fun interesting book for.6 year olds.
Lots of games and practical projects to go through.
They are learning whilst also having fun.
A great book full of ideas of things to do for parents too!

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for ARC

This is a fun little book. It is full of great ideas which will keep children occupied for quite some time. The terminology is easy to follow and it’s very age appropriate. My son really enjoyed it and I know my colleagues will love using it with their classes too.

What a lovely idea. For the sentimental among us (like me!) and those that love keeping memories or milestones, the 'My Awesome Year being 6' is a great way to encourage your children to document their thoughts and feelings, with lots of helpful prompts and activities to kickstart their imagination.
With loads of sections for the child to complete and fill in themselves, this is a great way to keep children occupied (particularly at the time of writing this review!), encouraging creative writing and doodling that I know I will cherish for years to come.

Its easy enough to do small bits at a time and can even be done retrospectively if needed. I loved the way you can capture a few of their innocent comments about the world, as well as their wishes for years ahead.

A lovely gift for parents and something that can be continued with other ages as they grow up.

A big thumbs up from me.
