I loved all these characters, Ethan was amazing and so was Olive, Their relationship was cute and believable and I loved the enemies to lovers trope, it was done so well!! All the side characters were well developed, I loved them. Christina Lauren is a new favourite.

This was a delightful romantic comedy that kept me literally entranced. The character depiction was on point and the story was fascinating and well developed. Highly recommended!

I feel a little ambivalent about this Christina Lauren book. It didn't totally bite me and thrill like their books normally do. I think the reason for that was due that it was the kind of enemies-to-more book that crossed the line from fun-hate into sibling-esque constant biccering. I struggled with the biccering that should have felt like banter but didn't. Thankfully, half way through the book that feeling abated. There were some deceptions that were fun and then not, they were the kind of deceptions that are supposed to make you feel uncomfortable. All that said, there was great chemistry between the two main characters that saved the book and my feelings towards it.

I struggled with a bunch of the characters but I am happy to report that most of them did eventually grow on me. The best thing about this book was Dane's storyline.

I think this was a case of it just didn't hit the buttons for me like their books normally do but I will be back for more from this great duo.

This really was a story to take me by surprise. While the end result was obvious, it was such good fun to watch things unfold you’d have to have a heart of stone to not be sucked in.
Olive has always been used to feeling less than her composed sister, Ami. But when Ami and her entire wedding party get sick on the day of the wedding it ends up with Olive and best man, Ethan, taking up the honeymoon.
They hate each other, so it’s obvious they’ll end up together, but this was done naturally and in a way that had me both laughing out loud and swooning.
Great fun. Perfect summer read.
