Fluffy and predictable. Quick, lighthearted read, exactly as expected.

3.25/5 stars!

Years ago, the couple had a late-night stand that has consequences. When they met again for business, their attraction is still present. For the hero, he turned his life around after that night; whereas the heroine became a single parent. The hero wants to reconnect with the heroine and get to know their son while the heroine tries to let the hero into her life.

I enjoyed the story, even if the angst level wasn't too dramatic. I did wanted the story to be longer so that there would be more family dynamics, and more depth to the couple individually and together. It would be nice to have flashbacks about that one night in their past and see how much both have changed since then. Overall it's a nice, solid story.

This is the 2nd in the series. I enjoyed it as much as the 1st one. Again it is not a long romance and I completed it in 1 sitting. A nice easy escapist read with a happy ending which is just what is needed in these troubled times.

This book was a fun read, it was very saucy in places but I did expect it.
A good fun, solid read for all lovers of “mills and boon” type books.
I liked the characters and became involved in the relationship. I was rooting for Charlie who sounded hot!
I will definitely have another read of this series and look at the prequel and sequel.

Very good book.

A lot of Stephanie I see in myself. Right down to the worthless boss that would rather play than grow their business.
Charlie is excited to find out that he is a dad. I appreciated that, what I didn't appreciate is that they waited until the last paragraph before the epilogue to tell Jasper that Charlie's his dad. Not cool.
