A useful book to read during lockdown and beyond. Fast, full of insightful advice and good resources to rap into.

As a HR Advisor by day, flexible and agile working is a topic I am really passionate about. With the gender pay gap in the UK being so high, working from home and working flexibly is a great way to help more women return to the workplace after maternity leave, and indeed for more men to help with some of the more traditionally female orientated care responsibilities. At the moment however, with many workplaces being forced to work remotely, there are a LOT of individuals across the UK who are working at home for the first time ever, many with children and other distractions to contend with. It's not easy!
This book is full to the brim of hints, tips and advice to help make working from home work for you - from building a schedule, staying connected with colleagues and maintaining your physical and mental health, to how to tackle some of the less predictable elements like childcare responsibilities and home educating during coronavirus!
A really useful read for any one who is trying to adapt to their new found routines!

Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

This book couldn't have come at a better time for me as like most people Chovid-19 has meant my employer has been forced to let more of us work from home.
Some great tips in this book, especially app blocking and time management tools. The book is easy to ready, broken into small chunks and so straight forward. I'll be recommending this to all my colleagues.
