Excellent book that is from two different woman's point of view. Beth is a marriage counselor who, after finding out that her husband had an affair, finds herself trying to navigate getting a divorce, being a single mom, and still working. Danielle is the other women who seeks out Beth's help with her marriage. As the book progressed we get small snippets of their past, all that clue us in to the cause of both of their current behaviors. I went back and forth until the end with not knowing which one of these women was more disturbed. I loved the ending and how it tied everything together but not in a happily ever after way.
I thank Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this advanced copy. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this twisty thriller told from two points of view. You slowly learn about Beth and Danielle through their perspectives. I love how Danielle's story slowly unfolded and you learn things in bites and pieces. It was a great twisty thriller. I did figure out one piece of the puzzle before it was revealed but the other twist I did not see coming. Highly recommend for a fun summer read. Thank you to Bookouture and Netgally for my advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

This was a great book! Full of intrigue and suspense and we were always left wondering who the evil one was? Which woman was truly at fault. Or was anyone? I know your secret got me. I couldn’t figure out what the actual secret was for a while! Bonus! The A-ha! moment was extremely satisfying.
Another great read by Ruth Heald! As always thank you so much to NetGalley and the Publishers for this exciting ARC!

4-5 stars rounded up.
Beth is a therapist whose life is falling apart. Her marriage to Richard seems to be over, she’s insecure and worrying about the impact on their four year old son Charlie. Richard moves out and shortly after this Beth’s life unravels and especially worrying some potentially dangerous things happen to Charlie. At the same time as this is all happening Beth takes on a new client who asks for marriage counselling. Danielle is clearly a very damaged woman and is carrying many secrets. It becomes apparent after a while that Beth and Danielle’s lives are interconnected but for a long time it’s not certain how or why. This story is told in the first person by Beth and Danielle which is really interesting to compare their differing perspectives.
This is an easy to read, well written Psychological thriller which is hard to put down - in fact I gobbled it up in one sitting! Both characters points of view comes across very strongly and you are constantly wondering who is the most truthful voice, which is intriguing. Danielle seems to be struggling, in despair over problems in her relationship with her husband Peter but is she as broken as she seems. Beth has suffered loss, she seems to be losing it - but is she??? I really like that their ‘dialogue’ is interspersed with some really creepy moments, plenty of tension, hints of chill and a couple of jump out of your skin moments! Some of the revelations are maybe predictable but by no means all, there are some shocking surprises. There’s secret piled upon secret, cover ups, major betrayals and a huge dose of revenge so I think it’s fair to describe the plot as twisty!
Overall, a good, very enjoyable quick and easy read with a positive outcome.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC

I love it when an Author makes me think I know what's happening, only to shock me at the last minute with massive revelations. That's exactly what Ruth Heald has done with this cleverly written Psychological Thriller.
It’s clear that both woman are hiding secrets that they’re ashamed to admit, and the style of writing left me doubting them both. Neither of them gave much away and this made for very addictive reading. I didn’t know which of them I could trust,if any.
There was one piece of the puzzle that I did work out for myself as my brain tends to over-analyse and I’ve read quite a few Thrillers, but this turned out to be merely a tiny piece in a much bigger plot twist, and I found myself speeding through the final pages, desperate to find the truth.
If you love a good Psychological Thriller then look no further. This book had all of the ingredients for a good Thriller. Characters with shady secrets that they don’t want to divulge, twists, turns, shocking revelations. This book has it all.

Wow 🤩 What a great read! It was one of those books I call ‘ just one more chapter’ before I go to bed! A storyline that kept you guessing and each chapter had a little teaser which made you want to read the next chapter to find out more! I loved the short chapters and the fact that they alternated between the 2 main characters. Definitely will read more by this author, highly recommend

Thanks to NetGalley and to the publisher for my ARC which I received in exchange for my honest review. I requested this book because I was intrigued by the tagline on the cover, "You're not who you say you are. Neither is she."
The book definitely exceeded my expectations! Like many current thrillers, I Know Your Secret is told from alternating points of view. Beth is a therapist whose life is falling apart after her longtime partner has an affair and then abruptly leaves her and their four year old son. Danielle is a young attorney who is harboring deep emotional and physical scars while desperately longing for a baby. When Danielle seeks out Beth for marital counseling, it soon becomes clear that Danielle has an ulterior motive.
One of the things I enjoyed the most about this book is that both women, although deeply flawed are well educated, resourceful and ultimately likable. The author does a great job of presenting past and current events from the alternating point of view of both Beth and Danielle. The story is fast paced, sinister and utterly addicting. I was up most of the night reading this one! As the backstory of the characters unravel, you realize that one of them has been plotting this moment for many years. Secrets and lies have consumed both women and the results are explosive.
Some authors in this genre tend to be heavy handed with the ending, making one or more of the main characters irredeemable. Thankfully, Ruth Heald, resists that plot device and delivers an intensely satisfying conclusion. Neither character is an archetype, they have both done terrible things and yet they have not lost their humanity. I found myself rooting for Beth and Danielle and thus I found the epilogue to be particularly compelling. This may be the first book I have read by this author, but it will not be the last.
Definitely add this book to your summer must read list! 5 stars!

Another page turner by Ruth Heald! I Know Your Secret may not be terribly original, but it is fast paced and entertaining. Recommended!

Beth is a counselor and so is her husband Richard. and they have a 4-year-old son, Charlie. Richard decides he no longer wants to be married to Beth and leaves. Danielle is a lawyer and so is her husband Peter. They are also having marital problems so Danielle starts seeing Beth as her counselor. Both Beth and Danielle have mental health issues and as the book moves along both start becoming more unhinged. I did like this book but I found it to be a little slow paced and it just an okay book with twists and surprises. Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Beth’s is in a downward spiral. Her marriage has ended because of her husband’s affair but also because her emotional affair with the memories of her deceased first love. As she tries to navigate being a single mom, Beth takes on new clients to help ease her financial burden. As a counselor, Beth is worried that she may project her personal feelings about marriage and affairs on her clients. Danielle is looking to save her marriage and is hoping Beth can help her. She also is trying to get herself and emotions under control after a difficult childhood.
As the therapy sessions continue, Beth starts to believe Danielle is the woman her husband slept with and begins to think of retaliation. Beth begins to feel that she is losing her mind, Danielle begins do the same. Little does Beth know Danielle has her own thoughts of revenge from a secret that intertwines them, and it may cost her everything.
This book drew me in from the prologue to the final page. I enjoyed how Ruth Heald wrote from both women’s point of view and with such detail that you could literally feel the emotion each character was feeling. A new twist of the story was usually revealed with each chapter that kept me wanting to read more.
Thank you, Net Galley, Ruth Heald and Bookouture for allowing me to read ARC.

Oh gosh !! This book was so amazing. It kept me hooked right from the first page and the characters were well written. I couldnt guess who was victim and who was the perpetrator right till the end .

A quick fast paced thriller that had me from the beginning.
I enjoyed both POV of Beth & Danielle and that the story focused on them equally. Each character was really developed and well thought out.
Thanks to Netgalley for my advanced ebook copy.

I really enjoyed this book which tells the story of Beth a therapist who has a Son and has just recently had a marriage break up and Danielle who is a young lawyer having marriage issues. Everything is not as it seems, with a few big surprises along the way involving a fire, cheating, a Mum, and two people who used to know each other. Fantastic read, finished in a couple of days.

A MUST read !
Two lives intertwine when Beth, a therapist, meets Danielle, her patient.

As Danielle first meets with Beth, Danielle tells Beth that she is scared of her husband, Peter. This, on the same day Beth's husband walks out on her and their son...

'I Know Your Secret' started off slowly, with an unsettling atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable (in the best way) and couldn't quite put my finger on why. I loved that I wasn't sure who to trust and that I was constantly second guessing my theories.
The big twist was great, but, I did feel like the subsequent explanation was a little drawn out and quite dialogue heavy. However, the additional little twists and turns kept me reading frantically right to the end!
This domestic thriller is gripping and exciting, though not particularly unique.
If you're looking for an entertaining domestic thriller, this one might be worth a read!

Wow! This was a great read. I was hooked from the first few chapters as the stories of Danielle and Beth paralleled and slowly met for a shocking ending. I definitely didn't see any of that coming!
Definitely recommend giving this a read!
I just reviewed I Know Your Secret by Ruth Heald. #IKnowYourSecret #NetGalley

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
I Know Your Secret takes us into the lives of two women, Beth and Danielle. Beth, recently separated from her husband is taking on a new couple for marriage counseling while trying to balance being a single mother. While being stretched thin, she begins to question wether she is a good mother and the state if her mental health. Danielle is one half of the new clients for Beth, attempting to navigate the inability to become pregnant while also harboring secrets that could end her marriage. What secrets will come to life in this deadly game of betrayal and lies?
Let me start by saying this book was very well written. The characters were delightfully developed and you really found yourself caring for these individuals, even as they fell down the rabbit holes they had created. The point of view does change frequently, but not in a jarring way allowing the story to still be enjoyed even though you switch every few pages. My favorite thing about the writing of this book is that it didn't get bogged down by unnecessary encounters. Every character that is introduced holds a piece to the story rather than just having characters for page fillers. This book really was great, but let me tell you why I only gave it three stars.
The story has many twists and turns and they are all very well laid out and explained. However I found myself knowing exactly where it was going 30% in. I like being able to predict some twists, but figuring out all of them took some of the revealing joy away from me. It stole the OMG! THIS IS AMAZING right out from under me, and I found myself wishing that I had been wrong about atleast one thing. If I hadn't figured it out, this book would have pretty easily been a 4.5 star book for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good mystery. The details are so well laid out, perhaps a bit too well and that could be why I guessed it. Pick up a copy for yourself and see if you can figure it out, and if you are shocked and stunned enjoy the wild ride that is I Know Your Secret.
