Beth’s is in a downward spiral. Her marriage has ended because of her husband’s affair but also because her emotional affair with the memories of her deceased first love. As she tries to navigate being a single mom, Beth takes on new clients to help ease her financial burden. As a counselor, Beth is worried that she may project her personal feelings about marriage and affairs on her clients. Danielle is looking to save her marriage and is hoping Beth can help her. She also is trying to get herself and emotions under control after a difficult childhood.

As the therapy sessions continue, Beth starts to believe Danielle is the woman her husband slept with and begins to think of retaliation. Beth begins to feel that she is losing her mind, Danielle begins do the same. Little does Beth know Danielle has her own thoughts of revenge from a secret that intertwines them, and it may cost her everything.

This book drew me in from the prologue to the final page. I enjoyed how Ruth Heald wrote from both women’s point of view and with such detail that you could literally feel the emotion each character was feeling. A new twist of the story was usually revealed with each chapter that kept me wanting to read more.

Thank you, Net Galley, Ruth Heald and Bookouture for allowing me to read ARC.

This book is definitely a page turner! It had me guessing from one twist to the next. It’s fast-paced and will have you wondering which point of view you can trust. Danielle and Beth, are both unhinged and on the brink of destruction. They have an unique relationship that will take you on a thrill ride until the breathtaking ending!

A quick fast paced thriller that had me from the beginning.
I enjoyed both POV of Beth & Danielle and that the story focused on them equally. Each character was really developed and well thought out.
Thanks to Netgalley for my advanced ebook copy.

The story might not be fast pace ,but definitely gripping.
So true to its cover title , the secret and the twist was mind boggling.

My guesses turned out wrong through out the book and finally when i found the soul relieving answer, I sqweaked ! Wooh in utter shock!

Each chapters are from Beth and Danielle 's point of view so every thing was so believable that the climax will be a surprise.

A very revengeful thriller with too many unhappy marriages.

I really enjoyed this book which tells the story of Beth a therapist who has a Son and has just recently had a marriage break up and Danielle who is a young lawyer having marriage issues. Everything is not as it seems, with a few big surprises along the way involving a fire, cheating, a Mum, and two people who used to know each other. Fantastic read, finished in a couple of days.

A MUST read !

Two lives intertwine when Beth, a therapist, meets Danielle, her patient.

The story of Beth - in a life that involves her 5 year old son and her (cheating) husband, Richard.

As Danielle first meets with Beth, Danielle tells Beth that she is scared of her husband, Peter. This, on the same day Beth's husband walks out on her and their son...

Many twists keep the reader in avid suspense throughout!

Many Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for a roller coaster of a ride!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

'I Know Your Secret' started off slowly, with an unsettling atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable (in the best way) and couldn't quite put my finger on why. I loved that I wasn't sure who to trust and that I was constantly second guessing my theories.
The big twist was great, but, I did feel like the subsequent explanation was a little drawn out and quite dialogue heavy. However, the additional little twists and turns kept me reading frantically right to the end!
This domestic thriller is gripping and exciting, though not particularly unique.

If you're looking for an entertaining domestic thriller, this one might be worth a read!

Wow! This was a great read. I was hooked from the first few chapters as the stories of Danielle and Beth paralleled and slowly met for a shocking ending. I definitely didn't see any of that coming!

Definitely recommend giving this a read!

I Know Your Secret takes us into the lives of two women, Beth and Danielle. Beth, recently separated from her husband is taking on a new couple for marriage counseling while trying to balance being a single mother. While being stretched thin, she begins to question wether she is a good mother and the state if her mental health. Danielle is one half of the new clients for Beth, attempting to navigate the inability to become pregnant while also harboring secrets that could end her marriage. What secrets will come to life in this deadly game of betrayal and lies?

Let me start by saying this book was very well written. The characters were delightfully developed and you really found yourself caring for these individuals, even as they fell down the rabbit holes they had created. The point of view does change frequently, but not in a jarring way allowing the story to still be enjoyed even though you switch every few pages. My favorite thing about the writing of this book is that it didn't get bogged down by unnecessary encounters. Every character that is introduced holds a piece to the story rather than just having characters for page fillers. This book really was great, but let me tell you why I only gave it three stars.

The story has many twists and turns and they are all very well laid out and explained. However I found myself knowing exactly where it was going 30% in. I like being able to predict some twists, but figuring out all of them took some of the revealing joy away from me. It stole the OMG! THIS IS AMAZING right out from under me, and I found myself wishing that I had been wrong about atleast one thing. If I hadn't figured it out, this book would have pretty easily been a 4.5 star book for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good mystery. The details are so well laid out, perhaps a bit too well and that could be why I guessed it. Pick up a copy for yourself and see if you can figure it out, and if you are shocked and stunned enjoy the wild ride that is I Know Your Secret.

This is a very cleverly written story, it makes you think you know what is going to happen but then it takes a turn that you were least expecting. The story started off ok but towards the middle was when I really started enjoying it. There are lots of shock twists that are edge of the seat stuff, it makes you think who do you believe of want to believe. I need to read more of Ruth's books.

This is my first book from Ruth Heald and I will definitely be picking her other books soon.

Beth is couples therapist, wife and mom who seems to have it all together but who quickly realizes that her life is not quite what she thinks it is. Danielle comes to see Beth for counseling, it starts a series of dangerous events that will make you question how their lives are connected, who is telling the truth and will they both survive?

I really enjoyed the back and forth perspectives between Danielle and Beth and how they were processing these series of events. It kept me guessing who was telling the truth and who was hiding something. I read this book in 2 days and could not figure out what was going to happen.

Ruth does an incredible job of building each character and playing with relational dynamics between these two women. A normal relationship quickly turns into a form of obsession and you don't know who is right or who is wrong. I would say this is a slow building, psychological thriller and a quick read!

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this free ARC for my honest review.

I will post a review to my blog/social media site closer to date of publication

Wow oh wow! I knew this was going to be a good book, I wasn't prepared for how good.
This definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, it has been completely unpredictable and a fantastic read from start to finish. I haven't been able to put this one down. I have read other books by this author and they are always fantastic, this might be the new favourite.
I honestly did not expect to love this book as much as I have. I was extremely intrigued by the description of this book and have not been disappointed. I cannot say anything negative about this book because I have literally loved everything about it.
I have devoured this book in just one sitting, I was completely sucked in and unable to put it down until I was completely finished. This is definitely a five star book, although in my personal opinion it should have more than five stars.

To me this book was just ok. It was quite short and I didn't feel like we really got to know either of the main characters well enough to really care about them.

The book was fairly entertaining to read but the twists were not particularly surprising and the book did not break any new ground. There are so many psychological thrillers around at the moment and I don't feel like this one stood out in any way.

Reading this was a fine way to spend a few hours but I can guarantee I will have forgotten the plot within a few weeks. I would probably recommend it to newer fans of the genre.

I Know Your Secret by Ruth Heald is an edge of your seat thriller with many twists and turns. There were many times when I thought the book was going in a certain direction, only to completely change course. As the gripping secrets are revealed I was left stunned and in awe. I love this authors writing style. This is a must read psychological thriller!

Beth has everything. A nice husband, a lovely child and a comfortable home where she practices marriage counseling to her clients. Until one day, Danielle and Peter Brown - her new client arrive and everything changes. Richard, her husband moves out and wants a break and Charlie, her son is in danger from her own care. What's happening with her? Is she losing it again? Is she a threat to her own son? And most importantly who is this Danielle and what does she want?

Oh wow, I read this book in 5 hours and completely forgot to eat and sleep. I did not know which woman I liked/sympathized more but as the story grew, the feeling began to slide toward the other character and I can't believe how engrossed I was until I found out what was going on!

I love the way Ruth plays with family dynamics and relationships between women. It's also interesting how she places her two main women - two professionals - one person revealing their innermost thoughts to another while the other knows nothing at all. Suddenly the power shifts and it's all just a very dangerous obsession. I see a whole lot of client - counselor from this book and it's astonishing to know how lonely and risky it must be to let a total stranger into your house. They could be anyone, couldn't they? Especially when you have children around! Wow what an idea for a psychological thriller! I'm on the blog tour for this one in June and can't wait to share my thoughts on my blog with everyone else. This is a highly recommended psychological thriller with its fast paced, meticulously structured narrative and well developed characters. Bound to keep you entertained from cover to cover, I can't wait for everyone to read this brilliant book.

I know your secret was definitely a gripping thriller. The back and forth of Beth and Danielle added to the suspense. I’ve already added Ruth Healds books to my TBR. This twisted story of revenge is a MUST read for thriller fans! I had a hard time putting this book down. How are Beth and Danielle connected, who’s seeking revenge on who.

Many thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. A thoroughly enjoyable read that is both edgy and twisty to keep you turning the pages. Beth's marraige is going through a rocky patch. As a trained counsellor, she is trying to cope with the strain of this while caring for her young son. Danielle is her new client, she is also going through problems in her marraige. As the sessions progress Beth becomes suspicious that there is more to Danielle than first appears. One to read.
