This book focuses on Grace Hudson, the little sister of Colin and Matt from the previous books and happens after Matt and Erin get their happy ending in book two.

Grace has gone off men for a while after the debacle with Desmond and is getting on with a job that she likes, but with a boss that treats her as unworthy as she is a woman in a mans job.

Dameon is taken by Grace from the moment that he first see's her, let alone meets her. He finds a way to keep seeing her and pushes his way into her life, even if once he has to hand his man card back for a pedicure.

Dameon and Grace just click together, the chemistry there almost instantly with Grace showing him a side of her that is not often on display, she also trusts him when she needs help, but does not want to get her family involved. Both end up helping each other in ways they never expected and Dameon does well in helping Grace with an issue that comes up at work.

Another brilliantly written book from Catherine Bybee that gives you all the feels where you just cannot help but root for the couple to get together and for the bad stuff to end and the good stuff to begin.

Catherine Bybee is a go to author for me and I know that the books in the Creek Canyon series have been extra special due to the fact that Bybee lived in the area she was writing about for so many years. With Everything Changes, she gives us the final installment in this series, and it's another really wonderful story.

Grace Hudson has always known that in her line of work she would have to work harder because she's a woman. Is that the way it should be? Of course not, but she's smart, strong and knows how to handle herself in her job with the city where she is constantly dealing with not getting her due when she's so good at her job!

Dameon Locke is a real estate developer and he is looking to develop a large piece of property in the Creek Canyon area. He's normally a pretty hands off kind of developer in the sense that he gets things negotiated and then lets his team run with the project. However with this one, there is an intriguing part to it, or maybe it should be said an intriguing person and so he wants to be as hands on as possible.

When Grace and Dameon meet for the first time, it's a chance encounter and she figures she'll never see him again. Well, that turns out not to be true and she runs into him in the coffee shop. Once again figuring now she really won't see him again, she could be knocked over with a feather when he turns out to be her client. The two hit it off and there is a definite attraction, but they both know it's dangerous to get involved. But will that stop them? Or will it be other outside forces then end up bringing things between them to a halt?

Not only did I enjoy Grace and Dameon as individuals, I really liked how they worked as a couple. They were supportive, they worked together and they took things at their own pace. It was fantastic that we got to see so much of Grace's family and I laughed out loud several times with Dameon's brother and Mom!

Everything Changes is an apt title for the last book in this series, as it is true, everything does change, but I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time with these folks in Creek Canyon!

Love at first sight? No way. Grace who was duped by the last man she dated, now is wondering how her feelings for Dameon can be so strong so soon. Is she on the wrong path, again?

Dameon is ‘all in’, and he’s never ‘all in’ this quickly. What is going on and how is their working relationship going to mess with their personal relationship? All he knows is Grace is the woman he wants.

Will they be able to work together or will their personal relationship spill over into the professional? When danger comes calling, will Dameon be able to be there in time to keep Grace safe? Will Grace be able to keep herself safe?

This book was great. Hit all my buttons! Great banter between Grace and Dameon. I love the Grace’s family has no filters. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is off limits. Damien’s family isn’t quite as open, but his mother is a HOOT! Maybe we should all give our parents edibles!!

This is the last book in the Creek Canyon series. I so enjoyed the whole series!

I received an ARC of Everything Changes by Catherine Bybee from Net Galley for an honest review. Everything Changes was a bittersweet book for me knowing that it is the third and final book in the Creek Canyon series. I have loved each book in the series, but I think that Everything Changes is my favorite. I can truly say, that Everything Changes is an incredible story and I could not put it down. I loved every page of this emotionally charged love story. One of my favorite parts is how the title of the book is incorporated into the love story, with a simple quote from Erin, when she tells Grace “Everything changes, and then you meet the right guy who changes everything.” Catherine Bybee has once again proven that she is a master storyteller who writes amazing stories. Catherine writes about great characters, and loving families, but most of all she writes about strong women who make it back after devastating life altering events that have changed the consequences of their lives. I love her descriptions of the settings around Creek Canyon. Once again, I love how Catherine opens her heart in the Author's Note section of the book. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters viewpoint. Everything Changes is the story of Grace Hudson, the younger sister of Colin and Matt, and Dameon Locke, a real estate developer. Grace is a civil engineer for the city of Santa Clarita, who is unsatisfied with her job and her boss. Everything Changes begins with the wedding of Parker and Colin. Grace steps outside to enjoy a moment by herself and notices someone watching her. The following day, she runs into the same man at the coffee shop. Unexpectantly the mysterious man turns out to be Dameon Locke, her new client whose file she just received minutes before meeting him in person. Grace still lives with the uneasiness caused by her relationship Desmond Brandt, Grace’s estranged husband. Dameon is attracted to Grace at first sight, but Grace does not want to pursue a relationship with a client and Grace calls him a stalker because of the way Dameon was pursuing her. Eventually, Dameon and Grace spend more time together at the development site and begin dating. I love the lighter moments of their relationship and how protective Dameon is of Grace. Grace courageously decides to tell Dameon everything about Desmond. Dameon shares some of his own secrets with Grace. I love the plot twist with case of blackmail that a mobile home park owner has brought against Grace. I love how the Hudsons all rally around Grace during this time. Catherine Bybee describes in heart wrenching detail Grace's fear of abusive men and whether she will be able to trust her feelings to love again. I love Grace's transformation throughout the book. I loved Dameon’s conversation with Grace’s father, Emmitt, it was one of my favorite moments in the book. Everything Changes is filled with all the things that I have come to love and expect in all of Catherine Bybee's books. I especially love her bittersweet and poignant moments, and the surprise plot twists and Everything Changes did not disappoint. I love how everything gets resolved and in much better ways than I had expected. I loved all the happily ever afters that happen in Everything Changes. I also enjoyed the lighter moments in the book, especially Grace and Dameon’s pedicures and the proposals, that help dispel some of the darkness. It was wonderful catching up Parker, Erin, and all the Hudsons, it felt like a family reunion. I highly recommend Everything Changes a beautifully written love at first sight romantic love story.
