I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

It was just okay for me. I didn't realize it was third in a series. Like most in the genre it wasn't a dramatic thing I hadn't read any before, but if made it takes a little more to connect.

I’ve had this book on my shelf for a while but had been put off reading it because it was book 3 in the series, however I decided to give it a go and was able to get into it straight away.

The series follows the main cop, Maggie, as she tries to solve the crimes that she encounters, and like any good cop thriller we get to learn about her back story along the way as well.

I found myself getting immersed in the story, I did suspect the culprit quite early on but was also waylaid by someone else as Noelle makes you suspect a lot! There are also many occasions where you think they’ve found the killer just to realise it’s anything but.

Overall this was a really good read and I think I will end up going back and reading her others now so that I can understand more about Maggie and the other cops.

An amazing thriller that had me gripped from the first page. A compelling read I couldn't put down. Love Holten's writing and can't wait for the next one! A total sleep stealer I'll be recommending to everyone.

A good thriller and page turner. I have read others in the series and enjoyed those too. Great characters and plot.

The third in a series featuring a female police officer in Staffordshire. A well written novel and the author is invested in her characters.

Sorry for such a late review. Meant to send months ago. I love Noelle Holten books. They're consistently very good and the characters are always awesome. I like that's not the usual Detective mise-en-scène.

While this is a series, this book, and all her books, can stand alone. Be forewarned. The action starts from the beginning. Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to send me a copy of Dead Perfect.
I adore this series and feel hugely invested in the characters and their stories.
Maggie Jamieson is a good, solid character who carries the series well..
I love the probation angle to this series. I feel it is a different angle which I've not noticed being done in any other series. It sure does make it stand out from others.
Book three primarily involves Dr Kate Moloney who is being stalked.
It is a race against time from Maggie to solve the case and prevent Kate from being the next victim.
A book that is gritty, fast paced and will have you turning the pages long into the night. A great read..

"Dead Perfect" is a fast-paced, thrill-ride of a book. Author Noelle Holten plunges straight into the action, with little preamble. This, the third in the series, continues a thread from book two. I particularly enjoyed the twisted, symbiotic relationship between Maggie Jamieson and journalist Julie Noble. Holten provides an interesting insight into the work undertaken by the probation service. I'm really enjoying this series and Holten's trademark cliffhanger endings!

Dead Perfect was a great new sequel to the Maggie Jamieson series. This book is definitely a page turner with the case hitting too close to home. There was already a mystery set in the last book which was addressed in this installment. Along with solving the case, it was also nice to Maggie deal with a few personal dilemmas. I loved how she handled both the case & the uncertainty in her personal life. I like that Maggie is not perfect. She's impulsive & often will have knee-jerk reactions. Her reliance on her teammates to keep her in life makes her so human & so very believable. The plot of this book was good but focused a bit too much on Kate. Otherwise I loved every chapter in this one.

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture & Noelle Holten for an arc!

The NetGalley app kept crashing so I was unable to read this before it became unavailable. I really was looking forward to it.

This is the third novel in the DC Maggie Jamieson series and I’ve enjoyed them all. This book follows Maggie as she investigates a stalker who has escalated to murder and seems to be fixating on her colleague Dr Kate Moloney. The team are in a race against time to stop the killer striking again. We see a lot more of Maggie’s emotional side in this novel as she is very close to Kate and so is trying to be professional at work while being understandably hugely concerned for her friend’s welfare. I did spot who the killer was early on but I didn’t mind that I’d worked it out as it was plausible that the team didn’t spot them sooner so I was just rooting for them to figure it out. The murderer in this book is chilling in what he does when he kidnaps a woman, it really is the stuff of nightmares. I found this another gripping installment in the series and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Maggie and her team!

This is the third in the series, but can be read as a standalone. I have not read the previous 2 books and did not feel at a disadvantage as the author explained previous cases and situations. A gripping and thrilling case with the added urgency as the killer was posing the young women he killed to look like a friend of the lead detective giving the manhunt an added personal level.

Dark but gripping. A really good tense thriller full of suspense. A great read. I read not knowing it was a series so have gone and bought the previous books!

Dead Perfect is so awesome!!! The story is tense and fast moving from the very first page. I love how Noelle Holten’s writing draws me in. Each chapter is written in a way that makes it almost impossible to put down without reading just one more, or two, or three, or ten! In Dead Perfect Maggie, and the team, are faced with a frantic race against time to ensure the safety of a close friend and colleague. There is a killer on the loose who has an extremely unhealthy obsession with her. However, there are no obvious suspects and time is running out. I love how unique and mysterious the perpetrator is in this book..
