A really sweet, slightly sexy manga about a budding college-age lesbian relationship and what happens *after* the relationship starts. There's a meet cute, but where a RomCom would spend the whole time exploring how the couple gets together, this focuses on the exploration, bumps, and milestones of relationships. The main characters are engaging and make an interesting couple and the supporting characters are well fleshed out and fun. I've never read a manga about a lesbian relationship before, but it turns out there's a whole genre of it (called yuri), and I like how issues of coming out, discomfort in public, and discovering oneself are handled. Sweet and worth reading.

Thank you to VIZ Media for providing me with an eARC of this graphic novel via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review..

How Do We Relationship? was a cute, piecemeal story about two young women who begin to develop a relationship with each other. The art style was very cute, but a majority of the plot focused on the idea of sex - whether to have it or not, what boundaries are, and how previous experiences affect our outlook of it. If that isn't your cup of tea you might not be comfortable reading this new series.

Overall, I really enjoyed this manga. I couldn't get enough of it. As soon as I finished it, I really wanted more. That being said, the story itself is pretty average. It's the story of two women meeting their freshman year in college, both finding out that the other loves ladies, and getting into a relationship. It follows their relationship after they get together and the struggles they are facing.

It's exactly what I expected it to be which was both fine and kind of disappointing. I don't know what else I would have expected, but it was a bit disappointing that I expected everything that happened.

Just be warned that it is fairly explicit, so be weary going into that if you don't like seeing that.

This story pretty much jumps into the subject at hand. Although it feels a little rushed in the beginning, it eventually smooths out and a refreshing story of a not so picture perfect relationship comes to view. Although I like the characters and the story, it'll take me a bit to like the drawing style of the artist, as I'm not really into a cutesy look for adults in college. I thought for minute I was dealing with elementary school kids and that was a bit creepy. Besides the issue with the drawing style, it's a really fun lesbian relationship story that I enjoyed reading.

The plot was easy to follow and illustrations were amazing. I am intrigued as to what will happen in a next volume.

If you like manga you will enjoy reading this.

Coming from someone who genuinely enjoyed this manga, it's probably fair to say you should know what you're going into before picking it up. How Do We Relationship? isn't your typical new adult romance; in fact, the author's note at the end even explains how Tamifull intentionally wanted to write something very different from the norm by depicting two women who get into a relationship before falling for one another.

Instead of having a lot of sweet, caring moments or angsty revelations, this first volume relies heavily on showcasing how people can work through disagreements or conflicts in relationships, with a lot of those conflicts revolving around the dynamic of two people who have very different views on sex. Saeko is active and very, er, physically motivated (heh), while Miwa is new to this entire aspect of life and wants to move slowly.

While the words aren't used on page, it's evident that Miwa has a lot of inner conflict surrounding trying to decide if she's asexual or not, and in the end, it appears that she may be demisexual (I'm very curious to see if we'll see this label used in future volumes). While there are definitely some acephobic comments made, they're more or less challenged, and Saeko is forced to recognize that sometimes compromises need to be made when people don't feel the same way about their sexuality in a relationship. I personally thought it was all very true to life, which might honestly make it tough for some readers to enjoy, but I liked that Tamifull didn't really pull punches.

Aside from aaaaall of that, the artwork is super cute, the characters are fun, and I enjoyed it a lot. I'll definitely be continuing the series!

Thank you to Netgalley for giving me the chance to read and review, "How Do We Relationship?, Vol. 1" by Tamifull. A shy college girl named Miwa has never been able to find someone to date since she is into girls. She ends up meeting a classmate named Saeko who is much more outgoing then she is. SInce Saeko is also into girls, she convinces Miwa that they should date. In this volume, we see the beginning of their relationship which includes misunderstandings, other people's opinions on their relationship and a clash of personalities. Miwa is wondering if their relationship will turn into a true love. Overall, it was cute and I would recommend it. I am interested in reading the next volume.
