Pride and Prejudice is the only Jane Austen book I've actually read, and I really enjoy the original. When I saw this would be adapted for Children I was excited to see how it would be done. I liked the pictures very much, and the chapter length was good. I only wish that more was added or adjusted to be more suitable for children.

I love all things Jane Austen. I am impressed with how this version of pride and prejudice was written for children. I thought it would either not give enough of the story or would be too hard for kids to understand. However, I was wrong. I look forward to reading the other stories in the box set.

As a huge fan of Jane Austen, I love that there is a beautifully-illustrated collection adapted for younger readers.

These also include free audiobooks, narrated by the wonderful Charlie Sanderson, so that children can listen along while reading.

Highly recommended for parents and grandparents of young children aged 7+, and to teachers looking to invite the world of Jane Austen into the classroom to share these classics with a whole new generation!
