Hilarious and heartfelt!! This was everyone I want in a book!!

I loved Emma’s journey to find herself again!! There were moments that made my heartache for her and so many time I cheered for her!! I had some moments of frustration with her low self esteem but it was part of her development and really lets you see how much she grows as a person over the course of this story!!

I laughed so hard and so many times reading this!! The relationship between Emma and her sisters was perfection!! Each of them were a great piece of the book and their interactions were so true!! The frustration with one another and support they gave for each other, the love-hate moments and the unconditional love they have was the highlight of the book for me!!

While there is some romance in the book (top marks for the love interest) I would categorize this more as a general fiction instead!!

I loved this book so much and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a book that will make you laugh out loud!!!

Thank you to Bookoutore and Kristen Bailey for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Emma and her husband Simon have divorced after his many affairs. This book is about her navigating being single and raising her two girls. I really liked the relationship Emma had with her siblings. Emma's siblings hate Simon and are hilarious in the way they talk about him. Emma’s sister Lucy was hilariousI She is the youngest sibling and it was so funny to read about her adventures. I HATED Simon. He was such a terrible character. I also found that the story was a bit long and had a lot of different parts interwoven throughout.

Thank-you to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read and review this book!

Emma (Ems to her sisters) is finally stepping out on her own after divorcing her snail of a husband Simon. She's a pediatric cardiac surgeon and a smart cookie at work, if a little stunted in her romantic life. She's got two great girls, and more importantly, four awesome sisters. Lucy who lives with her is a hoot! This is as much as story about sisterhood as it is about a woman finding new love (although her new interest is pretty good). It's funny, it's light, and you're going to root for Ems. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. A good read.

“Shoes are important. Like if he wore Crocs then I would tell you to kick him to the curb.” Important dating advice from a 7-year-old

My first thought: PLEASE CAN EMMA GET RID OF THIS MAN!!! Holy cannoli what a jerk her ex-husband Simon is! Emma, a pediatric heart doctor, is a saint for putting up with him, but she deserves SO much better.

Now that Emma and Simon are finalizing their divorce, Emma is starting to try her hand at dating again. Add in more theatrics from her ex, attempting to co-parent her 2 daughters, lots of other family drama (she has 4 sisters!), and a promising guy, then this makes for a funny and charming read.

Read if you enjoy:
* British chick lit
* Strong family bonds
* Family DRAMA
* New relationships
* Romance

I absolutely loved this book! There is so much depth to the writing and the characters and I felt completely absorbed.

Some of Emma's inner dialogue absolutely cracked me up and in some ways I want to be like her "when I grow up" 😂

The story focuses on the affect of marital problems on everyone around the couple and how to navigate the post separation world and the resulting changes. I loved it!

Read this e arc. The book was funny at times, heart breaking at times and other parts were emotional. ii really liked seeing Emma become a stronger person throughout this story. How she handled Simon’s new love was truly admirable. I doubt i could have been that composed and helpful in the situations she was thrown in. Although i rated it an average rating, it was a good story. Even though it wasn't mind blowing, I would definitely recommend reading this if you want a fast paced story with interesting characters.

This was such a good book!
I haven't read 'Have You Seen My Sex Life' but have heard amazing things about it, so I was super excited to read this.... I was NOT disappointed!
The story and plot were fantastic, the characters (especially Lucy) were hilarious with wonderful, loveable personalities!

Can I give my husband back? I believe every married women has at some point or another thought this question. It may be just a fleeting thought because her husband left the toilet seat up, or it may be more serious because like Emma's husband, the man is a total scumbag.

Divorce can be really hard, and especially harder when you have to co-parent with your scumbag ex. Despite the romantic aspect, the story is mainly about family and the struggles of dealing with the aftermath of divorce. This book to discussed some serious topics in a fun, relaxed way, which i really liked.

While I did enjoy the story because of the some wonderful laugh out loud dialogues, the time-lapse format left me a little lost at times.

Can I Give My Husband Back? by Kristen Bailey is a different story about divorce and aftermath that happens after it.

Emma, as successful heart surgeon, has been married to Simon for many years, and now couple of years after their divorce her sisters are telling her it's time she started dating again. So she goes on to several dates, both hilarious and sad trying to get back into the game.
Even though she is brilliant in her chosen field, great mother and a sister, Simon's multiple affairs and his cheating ways have destroyed her self confidence.
Emma will have to go through a lot of heartbreak, soul searching and battle many challenges if she is to find happiness again.

The main protagonist is so lovable and so sweet and finds it very hard act with people as they deserve. Her problems really touched me and I felt her pain. She is extremely patient and understanding of others and so compassionate that you can help but love her. She also thought me an important lesson.
The interesting part is that book switches from present to past so we can follow the story more accurately.
This is also a story about families, sisterly love and frustration that goes hand in hand in every family who are close to each other and fight for one another.
Another great thing is that there are so many funny moments. Comedy situations and banter is so well done I literally laughed out loud.
Great combination of humor, love and second chances that are a real winner.

Having read the blurb and reviews on this I was hoping for a laugh out loud book. I was slightly disappointed. Some parts were amusing, but mainly there was quite a lot of bitterness in the story, which is totally understandable as it's based around the main character being divorced from her husband.

The characters are somewhat believable but it was hard to keep up with the amount of sisters! The youngest sister Lucy was extremely immature and I think this distracted me from the story at times.

I did struggle on and read all of it but it wasn't quite what I expected.

This would probably be a good summer read if you have read anything else by this author previously and enjoyed it.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy for an honest opinion.

This book has me cracking up! If you want a light read novel about a woman who is recently divorced and trying to get back into the game.. you have got to read this!

This story follows Emma, a mom, pediatric surgeon and one of 5 all female siblings. This story takes us through what it is like for her to continue on with life and love after marriage- and quite hilarious at that! We see relationships mended, built and the beautiful bond of sisters!

Thank you Netgalley @ Bookouture for allowing me to read this book for an honest review!

Emma may be a heart surgeon, but that doesn’t mean she knows what to do with her own broken heart. Trying to navigate a world as a divorcee with two young girls, and a lying, manipulative and cheating ex-husband. It was delightful watching Emma navigate her new world and deal with all things life, and Simon, throw at her. How do you deal with dating again, lawyers, shared custody, and hearing of his dating through your children.

Cute, relatable with more than a few laugh out loud moments, this book was exactly what I needed and such a nice change.

To know her other book is about one of Emma’s four sisters makes me so excited to get my hands on a copy of that.

I’m in the minority with my 2 star rating but I just tried several times to get into this book but I’m sad to say I just cannot connect to any of the characters! Sorry to say but I gave up at 33 %. I tried, I really did! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release in exchange for my honest review.

This book wasn't for me unfortunately, possible because if was 'out of my comfort zone.

Overall it was a well written book, some characters were interesting but for me personally I couldn't understand the comments about it being hilarious and making people laugh but there again this is purely my own opinion.

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read this book even though I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Can I Give My Husband Back? is a very light hearted and laugh out loud story of a children's heart doctor, Emma, jumping back into the dating life in London after divorcing her husband, Simon, a serial cheater. I easily read this as though it was a British rom-com movie. I automatically pictured actress Sian Clifford as Emma navigating all the emotions her divorce came with.

As Emma is encouraged by her sisters and her assistant to get back into the dating game one of her prospects for a new boyfriend is Jag. I really enjoyed the fact that after everything Emma has been through with her husband's lies and cheating that she was pleasantly relaxed with Jag from their very first date. Even if he was 5 years younger than her. I do wish we saw more of that relationship throughout the pages but Emma was also still in a grieving period and not sure if she could open herself to love after having her heart shattered into pieces.

Although the story focuses heavily on the aftermath of Emma and Simon's divorce, and how they navigate co-parenting their two daughters, the central theme is about family and what defines a family. I think by the end of the story Emma realized it doesn't matter what society thinks a family should look like. You make up your own family, whether it's best friends who become your siblings, adoptive children, your husband's other children, even making room in your life and heart for his ex mistress. By the end of the story you end up cheering for everyone in this crazy family. One thing remains, Simon Chadwick is and always will be rubbish!

Thank you goes to NetGalley, Bookouture and especially Kristen Bailey for the eARC to read and give an honest review. This book comes out on June 19th!

I must admit that I had higher hopes for this book and thought it would be a book I flew threw, having read the description of it including things like "funniest book I have read ever", "Absolutely hilarious", "giggled hysterically."
While there were parts of the book that were indeed funny, I did not find these statements to ring true throughout the entirety of the novel.
I did enjoy the relationships between the sisters in the novel, and the eventual relationship between Emma and Susie.
I also appreciated the author's ability to make me loathe Simon as a character so much. She really wrote that guy so despicably.

I received an ARC from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Oh my goodness, I love Kristen! I actually wish we could be friends because she is hilarious. This book has made me laugh so much my sides hurt.
I absolutely adore books by Kristen, they never disappoint. This has been a welcome revisit to the Callaghan family. I love Emma's character in this one, she is definitely strong and independent.
This book is definitely the pick me up and anxiety buster I've needed. It has allowed me to switch off and completely relax my mind with added hilarity thrown in. Kristen writes in such a way you are captivated from the very first page.
I loved the last book, but this book is even better. I'm so excited to see what the future has in store for Kristen, she definitely has a huge talent. This is definitely an author you'd want " An evening with" tour filled with Wine and a lot of laughing.
Most definitely recommend this book and find it is highly deserving of five stars.

The perfect book for summer. It’s not often that a proclaimed “laugh out loud” book makes me do so, yet laugh out loud I did.

Funny, lots of heart and well written characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and will be looking out for more by this author. Brilliant.
