ENDEARED is the fifth and final book in THE ACCIDENTAL BILLIONAIRES series. I love how this series connects with others the author has written and hope we meet up with the Sinclair family again and again. I somehow missed the previous book, ENCHANTED, and do plan to rectify that.

The book begins with the prologue, set over ten years ago, and really sets the stage of what is to come. It was great to be back in Citrus Beach, California and meeting up with the various characters we’ve met before. I was drawn in from the first page to the last and got up to speed quickly.

This is Owen and Layla’s story, and it didn’t disappoint. The story is told in alternating chapters by Owen or Layla, and their voices really shine through. There are a few different storylines all leading to Owen and Layla finally becoming a couple.

ENDEARING is filled with heartwarming moments, angst, love, and family. The brothers are always there for each other and their wives and girlfriends. The addition of the English bulldog that Layla falls in love with when volunteering at the animal shelter is a great touch of warmth as well. The story flows well, and the epilogue wraps up everything. It takes place eight months after the story ends. A wonderful read that stays with you long after it’s over.

This is the fifth and final book in The Accidental Billionaires series by J.S. Scott. This time its the turn of Owen Sinclair, the youngest of the West Coast Sinclair's. The story doesn't disappoint and is between Owen and Layla, who were childhood best friends, however Layla stopped talking to Owen over a misunderstanding. The book doesn't fail to impress and the two leads are great together. Sad that the series is now over and hoping we get some mention of them in future different series. Five stars.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we get Layla Caine and Owen Sinclair's story. 10 years earlier Layla wanted anything to be able to tell her best friend she wanted more for them than just friendship. With Owen having a scholarship to medical school she didn't want to put that type of pressure on him. That night when she got home though things changed and she was angry at him. There was a part of her that still wanted him but the other part was so hurt by what she thought he had done she wanted nothing to do with him. There is a couple of problems though Now they both work in the same medical facility and the other well their best friend Andie they both would do anything for her. Owen doesn't know what happened all those years ago but he misses Layla. The more he is around her at the clinic the more he would like to know what happened all those years ago to drive them apart. He not only wants his friend back but he wants more. What happens when what really comes out about that night will it be the beginning of a HEA or will it be the end of them forever?

This is an amazing conclusion to the Sinclair siblings. This author will have you looking at relationships in a new way. You will fall in love with the way she has you looking at life and this book is no different. There are so many things I want to tell you about this story. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. You won't want to let go of these two even when you read those two words the end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A bittersweet conclusion…

I am no way near ready to let go of the Accidental Billionaires! Orphaned children/teens had a solid connection and looked after each other. That didn’t stop when they were suddenly wealthier than they could ever have imagined. Each sibling found true love until Owen. His and Layla’s story was a warm, bright and emotional conclusion to the series...

Friends, best of friends, until suddenly they weren’t. That mystery was soon solved when, a decade later, Owen came home and demanded answers. The chemistry that both had denied as teenagers was suddenly one piece of the puzzle they had to solve. These characters had hidden depths of pain and loneliness that, once revealed, were going to be relegated to the past. The love they had for each other spilled out in so many ways, each one a hint of the feelings they had. Their courtship was full of laughter and adventure as well as cleansing tears.

This story was an ending but the epilogue soothed as it showed the happiness all the siblings and their extended family now had. Once again, a story that made me smile and a series that brimmed with warmth and romance…

Owen is back home after finishing medical school with his own medical practice. One of his high school BFF's, Layla is working for him, Layla has detached herself from his life and doesn't want to have anything to do with him. He's determined to find out why.

I love Owen and Layla. They are each other's person's. Together they are just better people. This is a warm wonderful read.

So sad to see the last of the Sinclair clan but oh what a joy it was to read Owen and Layla’s angst filled and passionate story. I adore the writing style of JS Scott and I love how ever evolving her stories are becoming and I’m here for it ! I can’t wait the new installment !!

I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

I have mixed emotions with this book. I am so happy to finally get Owen’s story, but so sad because it brings an end to the Accidental Billionaires series. Endeared is book 5 in the Accidental Billionaires series. It tells the story of Owen Sinclair, the youngest of the Sinclair clan, and Layla, who was once Owen’s best friend. Owen, Andie (from Enchanted, Accidental Billionaires, book 4) and Layla were friends from school. Owen had feelings for Layla in high school, but did not say anything because he was afraid to lose her friendship, and as soon as he graduated he was leaving for medical school. Layla also had a crush on Owen, but never said anything because she did not want to lose his friendship. Layla has a horrible situation at home, and never shared it with anyone. As high school is ending there are events that happen to Layla, which ruins everything she had planned for herself after high school, and she fully blames Owen for these events. Owen has been away for years attending medical school and focusing on getting through his residency and has not really seen his family. He has tried to reach out to Layla, but has never heard from her. Ten years later and Owen is now a doctor and is returning home to Citrus Beach and will be taking over the clinic there, and much to his surprise, his high school friend Layla is the nurse practitioner there. He never really focused on his billionaire status; as he was too busy becoming a doctor. Now back home and Owen feels a disconnect with his family, does not know how to handle being a billionaire, and he really wants to find out why Layla hates him so much. That is all I am saying, so I do not spoil it for anyone. Endeared is everything I hoped for and more. The character development is perfect. You will be experiencing a lot of emotions with Owen and Layla’s story. J. S. Scott is an amazing author, and you can always count on drama, plans being hatched, groveling, hot steamy scenes, did I mention groveling, and a wonderful ending. I am a huge fan of J. S. Scott. I have read all of her books, and not one of them has left me disappointed. I highly recommend Endeared. A definite must read! You will not be disappointed. Thank you J. S. Scott for another amazing series. Cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next.

To say Layla's less than thrilled with her new boss is an understatement. She has never forgiven Owen for betraying her back in high school, so having to report to him now is unthinkable. Except Owen seems not to know why she hates him. Will he ever get out of her what he supposedly did? And one he does, will he tell her how he really feels about her? Has felt about her for years?

J.S. Scott writes the best billionaire romances. There's heat, there's a bit of drama, and there's always love, along with fabulous characters and chemistry for days. I can never get enough of her writing, since the very first book of hers I ever read - The Billionaire's Obsession~Simon, and it's stories like Endeared that keep her at the top of my favorite billionaire romance shelf.

Endeared by J .S. Scott is book 5 in The Accidental Billionaires Series. This is the story of Layla Caine and Owen Sinclair. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one. But, I do feel you can make it a standalone book if you wish to do so...but its a great series. This book gives us Owen's story who is a Doctor but he and his siblings didn't start out with much. The one best friend Owen had was Layla and they were very close. But something happened that pull them apart. Now in their present day Owen is back and he is wanting a second chance with Layla but she has her secrets and isn't so ready to move forward with him...yet. I am such a fan of this author. I love how she writes and I feel that I am there watching the story unfold instead just being a book I am reading. I would recommend this book, series and her writing. Loved it.

First and most importantly...another swoon worthy Sinclair. ♥️Owen♥️ What an amazing, compassionate man he is. But holy mother let the alpha caveman out and it’s game on. My heart ached for Layla but she deserved Owen. They both needed to breathe after all they went through.
I love this family on both coasts. Thank you Jan for another memorable story.

This is the last book in the series and I have been waiting patiently to read this story! This book can be read as a stand-alone. Owen Sinclair and Layla Caine have been friends for a long time. When they were seniors in high school, their feelings became more of a romantic interest but they did not act upon those feelings. Closer to graduation, Layla misinterpreted something she thought was Owen’s fault. This Incident caused Layla to part ways with Owen and their friendship. Ten years later, Layla is a nurse practitioner and works at the office that Owen ( who is now a doctor) just purchased from her former mentor/doctor (who recently retired). Tension way high in the beginning but they finally resolved the issue of the miscommunication all those years ago. Now they face the sexual attraction and chemistry that has been brewing all those years. Their love scenes are explosive! Now they have to come to the reality of making their feelings last forever! Another amazing book and great ending to this series!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Dr. Owen Sinclair and Layla Caine had been friends throughout high school and something changed right before graduation. Layla started avoiding Owen and Owen had no idea why. Avoidance was no problem after high school. Owen and Andie moved to Boston and Layla stayed in Citrus Beach and became a nurse. Now Owen is back and has bought the medical practice that Layla works at, avoidance is not an option anymore.

At a reception to celebrate Andie and Noah's marriage, Owen is finally able to get Layla alone to discuss what they find was a huge misunderstanding. After noticing Layla drawing the attention on Jax Montgomery, Riley's brother, Owen devises a plan that will bring him and Layla closer than ever. As the couple gets closer, Jax makes his way to Layla and Owen is not happy. Will this be the end of this HEA?!?!?!

Please read this last story of the Accidental Billionaires series. You won't regret it. It is everything that readers look for from this author. You will not be disappointed.

So here is Owen Sinclair's turn to find love in this series. His is a journey that started in high school with Layla and now he has his chance, if he can work out why she seems to hate him so.

Ok, so let me honest. The whole reason why Layla hates Owen so much at the start was a bit of a let down after the build up. It didn't feel like a reason to hate someone after so many years. That being said, J.S. Scott did bring it back for me with lots of other elements of the story.

Layla and Owen both had feelings for each other in high school but headed in different directions for college so never acted on their feelings. They are now working together after Owen bought the medical practice that Layla is working at. Owen has been so focussed on studying to become a doctor that he has missed out on so much of life. Living on a shoestring budget, he is coming to terms now with inheriting a lot of money.

Ohhhhhh where do I begin..this book is hottttttt. If ever you do not believe in love ,this book is for you. If ever you dont believe that everything happens in time, including finding love..this book is for you.
Owen and Layla's journey back to each other is swoon worthy. As teens in High School they were always there for each other. Confiding about anything and everything. Layla has loved Owen since her teenage years. However, everything took a back seat as Owen focused on becoming a successful doctor thereby alienating himself from family and Layla. But as it turns out what the heart wants the heart cannot be denied, and destiny has a way of  opening hearts and forgiving.
Both characters were made for each other. I especially loved the to and fro between them and I must admit I cried at the way Owen expressed his love to Layla.
Another successful addition to the Sinclair family. I cannot wait to read more.
Ms Scott you totally rock and I love you so much more with each release.
I received a copy of this book as an ARC. My views are toltally honest and are backed up my ALL Ms Scott's books in my Kindle library.

J.S. Scott has few equals when it comes to billionaire romance. Her glimpses into the worlds of the über rich give you a tantalizing look into how the one percenters live. However what I love most is her characters are genuine, likeable and pretty down to earth regardless of their wealth. They love. They hurt. They get angry. They make mistakes. Add to that the strong family ties she weaves into every story really resonates.

Owen Sinclair has been so busy becoming a doctor that he's never has time to adjust to being a billionaire. Afterall, the don't have billionaire school. Layla Caine has been career focused since graduating college and hasn't had much time for anything else. They were best friends in high school and both had secret crushes on the other. Now ten years later they rekindle their feelings but not before revealing secrets from their pasts. But never fear, there's definitely an HEA in store for them.

5 Finding Love With His Best Friend Stars!!!

I’ve been waiting for Owen’s story since I started this series and let me just say the wait has been worth it. Owen is everything I love about a Hero… somewhat geeky, but filled with love and compassion and really not letting his overnight wealth change him too much. He and Layla were best friends in high school and things have definitely changed for both of them through the years and to say she wasn’t excited to be working with Owen is putting it mildly!!

I adore Layla and everything she’s accomplished in her life given her background and how she’s really reached her goals because of her hard work and determination. I also laughed a few times when she didn’t trip over herself when Owen returns to Citrus Beach seeing as his this newly minted billionaire and oh so handsome!! But Owen is determined to not only get their friendship back to also see what lies beyond that “friend-zone.”

I loved how this book is paced allowing us to see how their friendship and love grew and that it wasn’t given easily. Layla is the perfect woman for Owen but nothing about her life has been easy and how Owen accepted her past made my heart happy! On the flip side, Layla refused to treat Owen any differently now that he’s the most eligible bachelor in Citrus Beach. In other words, they’re truly each other’s perfect match.

Ms. Scott has truly delivered in this last book and I’m not going to lie and say I’m a little sad to be losing these characters as I’ve grown to love them throughout this series! This book by far is my favorite of the series because it really is about finding love when you least expect it or want it and that when a heart is open to accepting love it can give love in return no matter what happened in the past!

Endeared is the fifth and final installment in J.S. Scott’s The Accidental Billionaire’s series. After a misunderstanding of sorts, Layla Caine and Owen Sinclair find themselves in the same orbit again. Best friends during high school Layla believed Owen had betrayed her and thus she turned her back on their friendship.

Owen returns to Citrus Beach and purchases the medical practice where Layla works. He can’t understand why Layla is so cold to him. Layla finally confronts Owen with what she thought occurred in high school only to discover she was completely mistaken. She’d placed her trust in the wrong friend and was devastated when she discovered what she’d done.

I enjoyed Owen and Layla’s story and the way Ms. Scott wrapped up the series. The ending was perfect and wasn’t ruined with introducing characters that didn’t fit the storyline who were only present to set-up the next book in the series. I received an advance copy of Endeared which I chose to read. I recommend it and the entire Accidental Billionaire’s series.

I've been waiting for Owen and Layla's story. Great story.
An endearing story filled with angst.
A story of knowing someone from the beginning, the start of the circle. A separation occurs to gain autonomy. As time passes and one evolves and grows. A reunion comes with growing pains as the circle of life continues.

This is a beautiful real romance. Owen and Layla were high school friends but a misunderstanding causes Layla to cut Owen out of her life until he returns a decade later as her boss. While eventually they overcome past perceived hurts and romance blossoms, all is not plain sailing as Layla has been secretly beta testing a dating app and when her mystery online friend is revealed Owen gets a bit upset and things get complicated - again. This is a lovely romance to finish off the Sinclair series, (though I hope we hear updates in future extended family books!).

4.5 STARS
ENDEARED by J.S. Scott. This was truly a heartbreaking and a heartwarming tale, all wrapped up into one. I adored both Owen and Layla. Both characters had to overcome so much and yet, still made something of themselves. Ms. Scott sure does know how to pull at the heartstrings in this one! I ran the mix of emotions throughout - feeling hurt for them and cheering for them too. This series has been terrific (although I believe this can be read as a standalone) and I look forward to the next one Ms. Scott shares with us! (received ARC for honest review)
