This feels like it could be the last part of Rachel's pudding pantry, but I hope not. Rachel and Tom are engaged and getting married, which is a nerve fraying time for anyone and of course when you both have an ex willing to cause trouble and farms to run, well tempers fray, things are said and it's a question of will they or won't they.

Loved it, gentle, funny and moving.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher I read a free advance review copy of the book. This review is voluntary, honest and my own opinion.

I've loved all of the previous Pudding Pantry books and this is no exception. Rachel is getting married to next door farmer Tom while trying to open the Pudding Pantry for summer along with her mum Jill. It's been a trying few years for them since her dad's death.

I’ve enjoyed the two previous Pudding Pantry books and for me this wrapped things up nicely. With more of a focus on relationships than rural struggles this time for me I really enjoyed the added perspective of some chapters featuring Rachel’s best friend Eve as well as the main Rachel chapters. It was great to catch up with the characters and see life looking up for Rachel although not without a few struggles on the way.

An ideal book to read during a summer lock down afternoon. Easy to read, predictable plot and a happy ending. What more do you need.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK for an ARC of this book.

Summer At Rachel’s Pudding Pantry by Caroline Roberts is the most delightful contemporary novel that will leave you smiling and feeling good. This was my third visit to the pudding pantry and I have loved all my visits. It was so good to catch up with old friends.
All the characters are wonderfully drawn. The reader feels welcomed into the story as we, along with the characters, bond over food. Once more Caroline Roberts has included recipes for you to salivate over and have a go yourself.
Summer is in full swing as the whole community looks forward to Rachel and Tom’s wedding. With comprehensive descriptions from Caroline Roberts we can ‘see’ the preparations.
There is a wonderful community atmosphere. If there is a crisis everyone pulls together. The flip side is gossip and the rumour mill spread like wild fire. Your business is never your own.
Relationships are not all hearts and flowers, they take work. We witness wobbles between couples as life intrudes. They need to work together to defeat the world. Marriages, like gardens, need love and care to flourish. We cannot expect them to last if we put zero effort in.
The novel is tinged with sadness as Rachel’s father cannot be there (no spoiler’s here, he departed before book one opened). “Grief and loss didn’t just disappear at happier times.” Even in times of celebration, we remember the empty seat. The reader ‘feels’ the conflicting emotions of happiness tinged with sadness.
I adore all Caroline Roberts books. If you have never picked one up, you are missing out. Summer At Rachel’s Pudding Pantry is just the ticket to brighten up any day.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.

Summer at Rachel’s Pudding Pantry is the third book in the series by Caroline Roberts. This instalment follows Rachel as she’s gearing up to her wedding to Tom. We’ve got all the usual characters, Jill, granny Ruth, best friend Eve and of course Rachel’s gorgeous daughter Maisy plus a mountain of cakes and puddings. As usual nothing is as simple as it seems so you can be sure of a few trials and tribulations along the way. The plot unfolds nicely and at a gradual pace and the whole book is beautifully written, you almost feel as if you’re there with them at Primrose Farm. Highly recommended. Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Collins UK and the author for the chance to review.

If like me you loved the first two books in this series (Rachel’s pudding pantry and Christmas at Rachel’s pudding pantry) you will be equally delighted by the 3rd instalment -Summer at Rachel’s pudding pantry. In fact I think this one is my favourite. A pure delight from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down.
On return to primrose farm and the pantry we find Rachel preparing for her wedding to gorgeous neighbour Tom.
It starts with the hen weekend where we catch up with all the characters from the past books.
Mother Jills romance with Dan is blossoming and she sets about trying to give Rachel her dream dress. As the one she found was too expensive on Rachel’s limited budget.
Roping in Rachel’s best friend and crafter Eve, the pair secretly manage to make one similar - but this isn’t the only secret Eves been keeping.
Feeling her marriage is in a rut and that husband Ben doesn’t appreciate her anymore, Eves developed a crush on a local artist she met at a craft fair.
As usual nothings ever simple when it comes to Tom and Rachel and it seems a multitude of hurdles get in the way in the lead up to their longed for summer wedding, especially the reappearance of both their exes. Maisys dad Jake is back on the scene as is Toms ex wife Caitlyn.
Will the wedding go ahead ?
Will Rachel finally get to be Mrs Tom Watson? and where will they live? His farm or hers ? Or is it all too complicated ?
I highly recommend this book, it’s a lovely story and a great addition tho the pantry series.

Rachel is working hard on the farm and at the Pudding Pantry, which is doing well, the sun is shining and she is looking forward to her upcoming wedding to Tom. What could possibly go wrong?
Rachel’s ex Jake turns up out of the blue wanting to see Maisie, their daughter and Tom’s ex Cailtin is intent on causing trouble for the couple. Then there is Rachel’s best friend and chief bridesmaid, Eve, who’s own marriage is going through a sticky patch.
Just when they should be preparing to share everything they are keeping secrets and seem further apart than ever. Can Rachel and Tom, with the help of their family and friends, have the day of their dreams or will fate conspire against them.
I have read all the pudding pantry books and absolutely love them. You don;t need to have read the first two to enjoy this one but I would highly recommend them.

This was another great book in the Pudding Pantry Series from Caroline Roberts.

In this one Rachel is getting married and it starts with the hen party and all the preparations for the wedding. There were lot's of twists and turns in the story that threw the wedding into chaos. There were also some small separate stories alongside Rachel's as we also get Rachel's best friend POV thrown in and the turmoil that she is dealing with too. I wasn't sure about this to begin with but it does all also tie in with Rachel's story towards the end so that it does add something to the story.

This has been a fab series which I have enjoyed reading and once again this has some lovely sounding recipes throughout that I will have a go at cooking.

Overall this was a fab, light hearted fun read that I have really enjoyed.

Thank you Netgalley for my ARC

Since I met Rachel at Primrose Farm back last year, a lot has happened in that time, but it seems that everything is now coming together and her future is looking bright.

Rachel and the farmer from next door, Tom are to be married.

Plans are afoot for the wedding and we open with Rachel heading off on her hen weekend, with her best friend Eve, and her mum, Jill.

But as the days count down to the big day, it seems that everything is not going smoothly.

Questions between Tom and Rachel are left unanswered, the pain of missing her father gets to Rachel, her ex makes an appearance and then when the Pudding Pantry becomes the target of an online smear campaign it seems that this is not going to be a happy ever after that Rachel is looking for.

Of course it is all resolved with some interesting asides along the way, the wonderful creation of the dress, Eve's marital problems and of course all the delightfully delicious puddings and cakes which are the real focus of the Pudding Pantry.

This is a great conclusion to a series of books which really brings everything together and sees a future ahead for Rachel and Tom. her mum Jill after the tragic death of her husband, Rachel's father which brought Rachel back to Primrose farm in the beginning.

You need to read the previous two novels in this series, to get a real sense of time and place and how we end up at the wedding of the year!

This is such a gorgeous story,Having read all the books in this series and loving each and every on I just couldn't wait to get my hands on this one.

It did not disappoint.

Rachel and Tom are busy organising their wedding, with the big day quickly approaching they start running into problems and they are not sure if the wedding can take place at all.

It was lovely to be back with my favourite characters and setting. Of course it wouldn't be a pudding pantry book without all the lovely baking and recipes.

The recipe for the lemon and blueberry muffins is very yummy It was perfect washed down with a Lemon gin fizz lol! I had to make a batch half way through reading!

This is the perfect Summery read with fabulous recipes that you will want to try out!

I loved the beginning scenes, the hen do was lovely. I also loved the wedding scenes, they were romantic and heart warming. A great pay off for the 3 books it’s taken for Rachel and Tom to finally get married. I very much enjoyed returning to the farm, and to the characters I like, the community atmosphere of the village.

However, the rest of the book really wasn’t my cup of tea. It was far too stressful to read. There were too many separate strands of things going wrong. I really hated the malicious posting of negative reviews, it was so nasty. I felt like the middle parts of the book didn’t hang together very well, with so many different things going on, and many of them were sorted out really easily. It just felt like there wasn’t an overarching plot. But perhaps that is far more realistic! I also find Rachel and Tom’s inability to talk properly to one another slightly frustrating, as we’re now on the third book. I think they’re improving, gradually. Again, more like real life, I suppose.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the previous two, it definitely carries on in the same spirit. And the wedding is very romantic. I would recommend starting with book one, if you’re new to the series.

I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

I was so excited to read this next instalment of the Pudding Pantry. This one picks up straight after the last one and takes us on an emotional ride towards Tom and Rachel’s wedding.
I loved seeing all the familiar faces again and drooling over all the delicious puddings.
The added bonus of Eves point of view over her dilemma over her feelings for another man was interesting, she’s a character we’ve seen many times and I think it was nice to see the flip side of married life, it’s not always flowers and hearts and happy families. The spark needs igniting again sometimes.
I loved how the whole village came together to help out Rachel and Tom with the wedding and the descriptions were simply beautiful, I wish I had been there, and not just for a slice of that delicious wedding cake.

A beautiful read from start to finish.

Having read other reviews of this book, I can't help feeling I'm the odd one out (I probably am). That's not to say I didn't like this book, because I did, but for me there wasn't a strong plot. During the early part I wondered when the story was going to begin - it just seemed to be about Rachel's hen weekend. But then chapters told from Eve's point of view began, which wasn't done in the first two pudding pantry books. Eve's story was told well. I also enjoyed all the pudding pantry scenes.
But I still can't help thinking this series has gone on for one, maybe two books too long. Perhaps books 2 and 3 could have been merged. As in book 2, I thought Rachel and Tom were both quite childish at times. Once again they go days without speaking, never having that conversation they need. I do wonder how they'll fair living together. That's another thing they didn't discuss until just before the wedding, their living arrangements, which I find a tad unbelievable. And the plot surrounding Tom's ex claiming more money from Tom was also hard to believe. They're already divorced, now she wants more? I'm surprised the case even got to court. Then, an upset just before the wedding leaves Rachel not knowing whether the wedding's on, but it's not until the night before the wedding that she goes to talk to Tom. This really does seem odd.
Having said all this, I did like the book overall. It's a light read, and it was nice to see the return of familiar characters, but I think that's where we should leave them.
With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely adore Rachel”s pudding pantry books and this did not disappoint oh no far from it the way Caroline writes is phenomenal she describes every pudding and cake with such love you can almost taste them - and she gives you the recipes for them too so you can enjoy the puddings
In this latest chapter Rachel is getting ready to marry the farmer next door otherwise known as Tom, they have known each other all their lives but only recently connected again
Rachel has had a rough few years with her beloved father passing away unexpectedly and her and her mum Jill opening the little cafe in their barn and looking after her gorgeous daughter Maisie
She is so looking forward to her hen weekend away and then marrying the man of her dreams what could go wrong?

Summer at Rachel's Pudding Pantry is the third book in the Pudding Pantry series and I am lucky to have been involved in celebrating this amazing series from the start. I will post a few links below to other posts relating to the Pudding Pantry books.
I want to take a moment to point out the amazing cover design. It is just beautiful and sums up the story perfectly. One of my favourites for sure.
In Summer at Rachel's Pudding Pantry we follow Rachel's exciting wedding preparations with her friends and family, and there is some added drama along the way. I loved the opening to the book and getting to know Eva, who is Rachel's best friend more, as part of the story is told from her point of view.
This is another amazing read from Caroline Roberts. I adore all her books and have read them all. They all have this uplifting light read feel to them even thought they touch on difficult subjects. You always come away feeling happy, carefree and relaxed, my favourite kind of books. Rachel is one of my favourite characters and someone I often think about when I see a tractor in a field or walk by a farm.
A must read. A perfect countryside feel good read.

I absolutely love Caroline's books, they never fail to cheer me up. This one has definitely been worth the wait. I have absolutely loved it.
I have been completely pulled into this book and found it impossible to put down. I have devoured this book in just one sitting.
I say it with all of Caroline's books but this might be my new favourite. I absolutely adore Rachel and wedding planning wouldn't be the same without a little drama. This book has made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions and I honestly wish these books were a tv series or movie because I'd watch them over and over again.
I cannot say anything negative about this book. It has been a perfect read and has really cheered me up. Without a doubt a five star read, only highly deserving of hundreds of stars.
