A marriage of convenience was more than he bargained for when he actually fell in love with his wife. What started as an attraction slowly grew into something more and gave him everything he needed.

Good story. Kishon and Chloe have become friends over time. Kishon is King of his country and tradition is that his siblings cannot get married until the King does. Well guess what? The younger sibling wants to get married, but he can’t. So Kishon comes up with this idea of a “fake” marriage with Chloe after she get fired from her job in the bar for something she is not responsible for. Well, you guessed it. That “fake” marriage…hmm if you want to see how that works out, get the book and read. It is well worth it.

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained.

great story. loved these characters and this whole series. the sheikh's are great. great compelling story.

As you can expect from a book about a Sheikh, it follows the love story between a Sheikh and an ordinary girl. Kishon is the Sheikh of Hamari and tradition says that until he is married, the other males in his family cannot get married. Since I did not read the first book in the series, I cannot say much about the other characters.
Kishon has been visiting the States for some time and has been showing his interest in Chloe who is a bartender at the bar he frequents. He asks her to marry him so that his cousin can get married. She gets to travel the world has the Sheikha and paint (therefore achieving her dream) and he gets to remain the all-powerful Sheikh.
But as you can expect feelings get exposed and ......they express their love for each other.
It was a really fun short read.

This is the second book in the series. In the first, Sheikh Kishon's brother meets the love of his life and wants to marry her. In tradition with their small kingdom, no one can marry before the King gets married - cue the fake marriage. Kishon and Hannah have built a bit of a friendship over the months that he has frequented the bar she works at. After a scuffle at the bar, she's lost her job and has been propositioned to be Kishon's fake wife. And she thinks it's a deal too good to be true.

Leslie North is one of my new favorite authors! I just know that I am going to get a good story with a bit of angst and always a HEA. Loved the interweaving of characters between the stories in a series. Always really good characters and very well written. I can't wait to read more!

The King needs a bride so his brother can marry according to tradition. Therefore he marries Chloe, an American girl. This is a follow on love story in the Sheik series but can standalone. Full of romance. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.

Leslie North is one of my new favorite authors, hands down. And I love Sheikh romances because they're always so much fun to read. You get to immerse yourself in a completely different culture, all while adding a little bit of fairytale to the mix.

I enjoyed Kishon's character in the first book (which I also read in a little over a day), but it was so fun to see him in this new light. Yes, he's the Sheikh, and yes they've put themselves in a bit of a bind with this fake engagement thing, but watching the way he is with Chloe is just so romantic.

You can tell right from the beginning that, even though they both agree to this engagement/wedding out of convenience, they're only trying to convince themselves that it's not real. It starts to look like the only time they're not saying it's fake is in the bedroom.

I loved Chloe's art background. It gave her so much more depth, because she's this passionate painter. As I've always wished I could draw, it's fun to read books where I can live vicariously through the characters. I sure hope Kishon and Chloe show up later on in the series!

It was a light-hearted story of a fake arrangement turning into something real. I would recommend this book if you are looking for something fun to read.

Second in this new series. Not a bad read, however this story lacks interest. Easy read, steam, a small amount of romance and not much else. Truly a “don’t think about anything” read.

A friendship, a mutual attraction, a chance comment in a sticky situation that leads to a fake engagement.

Things certainly speed on from there with a fake marriage to meet the rules and regulations that exist within the royal families traditions and expectations and the elders of the sovereigns advisers.

The thing is, fake soon becomes too fake, as real feelings wants and needs are the true expectations that are emerging out of this imitation, but all too real marriage arrangement.

Acknowledgement of these feelings and needs are admitted to and this is a whole new beginning. With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love and romance.

This hot and steamy story brings Chloe, a young bartender who dreams of traveling the world and show her work through her painting, meets Kishon the King of Hamari who proposes they get married to help his brother and his fiancé. It was a proposition to benefit them both without feelings involved. Together they learn about each other along with great sex scenes and realize what they mean to each other. It’s a quick read and I would recommend it. I received this ARC from net galley and voluntarily reviewed it.

Tradition requires the first brother marry before any other brothers may do so. Sheikh Kishon must marry so his brother may marry his love. Enter bartender Chloe and the story begins.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Mainly the characters. The author spent just enough time to get to know them without belaboring. I finished looking forward to the stories to come.

I liked the beginning of, The Sheikh's Fake Marriage. Once they got back to the Palace the story stopped about them I felt. I would have liked to see more of Chloe and Kishon together than just in the bedroom.

I keep reading these Leslie North books, even though they are predictable. Quick, fun fantasy read.

The Sheikh, Kishon, has been coming to the bar Chloe works at on and off for six months, chatting with her and appreciating her treating him as she does everyone else. One night a man is inappropriate with her, she punches him and Kishon rescues her. In the course of his rescue he declares she's his fiancée.

By law the Sheikh needs to be married before his younger brother and his fiancée can, so after sleeping with Chloe in his hotel suite he proposes they marry for convenience.

There are a few bumps in their road to a happy ending in Hamari but they get there.

I quite liked Kishon but he didn't come across as a Sheikh to me. The fact they didn't use a condom in chapter 2 just boggled my mind - Kishon has dated a lot, who knows where he's been and he trusts Chloe when she says she's on the pill? However way you look at that, it doesn't come across well and it jarred the flow of the romance for me. And I didn't like that someone in the spotlight tossed out 'I'm her fiancée' without thinking through how that might impact Chloe if it became public- especially given the scrutiny of their married life by the press and the Elders. Chloe also came across as a little mercenary, giving Kishon a convenient wife who would divorce him without giving him any trouble in return for funding a painting trip round the world.

I didn't love either of the characters unfortunately and that spoilt the story for me.

The wedding, only came about because of an incident, between Chloe and Kishon. He came to her rescue when a group of drunk businessmen were harassing her at work and she ends up getting sacked then all the fun begins.

Very light fast moving story by Leslie North . Just what you need to brighten your day. Didn’t disappoint better than some by Leslie North .
