This book focuses on true stories from a London nurse and mother. Nurses and medical professionals need compassion and courage as well as an ability to cope. They are a unique personality and this work isn’t for everyone (I could never ever do it ). The book covers different examples Of situations as well as a personal adoption. While there are happy endings And moments, there are Also many sad ones, but that is life.

As wonderfully written, and as full of heartbreak and hope, as Christie Watson’s last book. Leaves you in wonder of the compassion and skill of those in the nursing and caring professions - and rage for the government that seems determined to undermine and undervalue them.
