I found this book fascinating and now truly understand the struggles that Afua has been through in her life. It has made me reflect on the prejudice that still exists in Britain and the struggles that so many people of colour have to face,

This book is brilliant.

Brit(ish) is a very interesting read which highlights a lot of interesting facts and history that I was not aware of before. I have been left feeling somewhat educated. I enjoyed reading about Afuas' personal experience too.

The book is very relatable and relevant for today.

I would say at times when reading this book, I got a little lost as the book tends to jump from one century to the next - that is my only criticism.

Overall, a very enjoyable read. I would read again as well as recommend to others to read.
