This is a children's book about feeling worried. There are colourful pictures with two relatable children characters, Ava and Noah who felt worried about a big change. There are tips and suggestions of how to deal with being anxious. Also ideas of how to use this book.

I think it's a lovely book to share with young children. I like how the characters are diverse and stories from both genders. I read it to my son who liked the pictures.

This is part of a series of books that deals with children and their emotions, which are written by the same author.

I received an e-book from Netgalley.

Everybody Feels Worried is full of practical advice and a clear understanding of the real-life situations children are facing. Life can be worrying, especially at the moment, and it’s so important that children learn to cope with their worries and build resilience and strength to face each new day.

This book addresses the “What if…” worries that keep children awake at night and cause anxiety to build. It clearly shows how talking with someone about these worries can help the concerns to disappear. With a friendly style and stories of actual children feeling worried, readers will be able to relate to the scenarios and apply them to their own situations.

The illustrations are incredibly welcoming and calming. The gentle colours and friendly faces will help children to feel at ease and open up about their concerns.

At the end of the book, the helpful glossary of story words and “Next Steps” advice for adults make Everybody Feels Worried a very useful tool for parents, carers and teachers supporting children as they learn about their emotions and how to manage them.

The accessible picture book style makes this non-fiction book for young readers a great starter for books about feelings, mental health and PSHE. As a part of the “Everybody Feels…” series, Everybody Feels Worried will be a welcome addition to home and school bookshelves alike.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for this lovely book which will be published in July 2020!

Another beautiful book in this series. This one focusing on worry. The little stories within this book are perfect for young children to relate to and it explains how to get rid of worries in a simple and easy to understand way. The pictures are fantastic and fit perfectly with the story. I especially enjoyed the extra activities in the back of the book.

A great book explaining about children's worries and how to overcome them. Well written and nicely illustrated. There is a great to do page at the end of the book with activities to do and think about. My 4 and 6 year old enjoyed this book.
