Thank you so so so so so fucking much to Netgalley for providing this arc.

Do i really need to explain the beauty that is this book series? Not really, you just need to read it for clear skin and a better life. The art style is so pretty and mystically diverse in the most subtle ways

Another excellent addition to the Tea Dragon series. In this (perhaps) final installment, Greta is having trouble caring for her grief-stricken dragon, Ginseng, as she's working hard to obtain an apprenticeship for a legendary blacksmith. Meanwhile, her friend, Minette, is plagued by nightmares of a mysterious past which upend the gentle tranquility of her present life.
Reading any of Katie O'Neill's books is like warm tea after a long rainy day, or a hug from a friend you haven't seen in a long time; it's delightful. As always, though dialogue in these books is slightly wanting, the art in them is often even more magical and breath-taking than its own whimsical yet meandering plot. The primary color palettes in this volume especially have a beautiful automnal feel: olive greens, pale peach-yellow, plum reds, burgundy purples... Alongside a charming cast of characters and its feel-good story, this is certainly a beautiful book to own solely for its exquisite visuals. You come out of it feeling that refreshed, wholesome rejuvenation many will associate with Studio Ghibli movies.

Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book in return for an honest review.

What it's about:
The third part of the Tea Dragon Series which shows how Greta grows as a tea dragon owner as well as a budding blacksmith. It also shows Minette learning more about her past and coming to terms with what happened. The diverse cast are all wonderfully entwined together and overall, this book just makes me yearn for more.

When this comes out physically I intend to buy it as well as the first two books (Tea Dragon Society and Tea Dragon Festival) which I currently have digital copies of on ComiXology.

Pros
The art, just like the first two books, is stunning
The characters have a good journey of growth
Every character is equally included
The characters and the universe it is set in is truly awe-worthy and magical

I’ve to start this saying that this is the most beautiful and sweet story I’ve had the pleasure to read. The artwork is spectacular and soft and I love everything about it. The Tea Dragon Tapestry is a sequel of the first book, here one year later we can see the characters life and their changes.
This book talks about understanding yourself, how our passions and purpose in life can change. Sometimes this can be clear but when what we know changes or it isn’t what we want, at first it can be confusing and we can feel lost but the time is the most important thing that helps us to find ourselves and start growing again.
This story talks about grief and loss, love and support and the friendship you forge.
I really loved it and I need to read more about the author.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is the sequel to The tea dragon society. The Tea dragon festival is a companion with other main characters that return here. Greta and Minette have t figure out their future and what they want to do with the help of the other remarkable characters.

It's longer than the first one, which has 46 pages, and this one has 128 with the addition of extracts from The Illustrated History of Tea Dragons.
The plot is simple but really cute and perfect for young people, it leaves us messages about who we are and how we can change and help those around us.
The illustrations are beautiful and stunning as usual with bright colors.
I wish that it had more pages.
It's a really sweet and recommended graphic novel for all ages.

5/5 stars!

Oh my goodness! With the same love and charm as always, this much beloved series comes to a close!

As the third book in the Tea Dragon Society series, it follows Minette amd Greta. Minette is struggling to balance her past and present, while Greta contemplates her present and future. And a poor Ginseng dragon is still a sad baby!

How do I even begin? If you’ve read either or both of the previous book, you’ll know that this book is made with such a special kind of wholesome that you want to share it.

The art is as beautiful as ever and somehow, ever improving. It’s msgical to see changes in character design that just feel like a natural progression of the character. This is especially true in characters from the previous book who have aged a bit and it very clearly shows. Needless to say, I love the art very very much.

The colors will never cease to calm me and have me dreaming of cartoon food for days to come. But it is especially the soft character design that fills my heart. Characters new and old are really well desgined in a way that inspires beauty and creativity, it’s just amazing to see. It definitely has me wishing for a tv adaption, just to see these colors in movement.

The story that it tells.is equally as wholesome. Minette and Greta have come quite a way and still have more to think about in this book. What I love about the story is that while these two characters have a lot to think about and it is very pressing. The book is never frantic, things fall into place, as they do. It’s not a book where I rush to the end to see what happens. I just savor each page as they come.

Ok so…Erik is still my boy, I cannot change the winds. However, my other fav boy happens to be in this one also and so you can understand, just how much love is in my heart.

Also, the overall messages of this book concerning: how to deal with your past, how to think about failure, and even how to help those who’re grieving, are super important and really well done.

TL;DR: Please read this series! It’s beautiful, wholesome, creative, cute, and heart-warming beyond all belief. It’s a gift of a book to share with loved ones.

This final entry in The Tea Dragon world was a perfect end. I loved the return of all the characters we met in the first two. The artwork again was beautiful and vibrant. I adored all the tea dragons and every character showed such emotional range on the page. This book managed to make me cry twice - which such heartfelt story telling that I have grown to expect from Kate O'Neill.

I would highly recommend this book and this series to everyone.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this title. The last installment in the series was good but left something to be desired. I hesitantly picked this up, ready to feel ambivalent again, but was blown away instead. This book lives up to the high quality I expect from the Tea Dragon series. A beautiful exploration of community ties, self reflection, and finding your place in the world. Highly recommend.

This book was such a quick and fun read for me I read this one in one sitting! Love Katie's books and fall in love with each one of them. Hopefully there's more in this series but I'm not sure if there will be?

The Tea Dragon Tapestry was spectacular. Katie O'Neill is so skilled at creating a deep world. There is so much depth in the plot and the characters. I enjoyed every second of this graphic novel and I need to own all of them. It is original and sweet and good for middle grade to adults. I will recommend this to everyone.

I really enjoyed this conclusion to the Tea Dragon trilogy. It was very sweet, heartwarming, and gave off great autumn vibes that my heart needed in order to get through the summer.

The Tea Dragon continues to be one of my favorite graphic novels. The art is incredibly breathtaking; I love the style and the colors. Aside from being aesthetically appealing, this third installment of Tea Dragons continues a well woven story of finding oneself and finding comfort in family and friends.

This series is the cutest series on the whole planet. Sorry, I don't make the rules. I rushed through the first two late last year, and jumped on this third one when I saw it was available for review. AND I LOVED IT. Really, what else would I expect? I would probably say I liked it more than The Tea Dragon Festival, but maybe not as much as The Tea Dragon Society. But what does it matter, because I love them ALL to pieces anyhow. This one felt a bit deeper than the first two, and addresses some deep concerns that we all have. It touches on grief, and how everyone grieves a little differently and at different paces. It also addresses the concept of feeling out of sync with what you love to do, or starting to feel indifferent to the things that made you YOU in the first place, and how to come to terms with that. I'm an adult, and even I felt comforted with how they handled and described these perfectly valid feelings. And as always, these very grown-up talks and lessons come in the form of a giant warm hug filled with stars and moonlight, which is how these books have always made me feel. The art is beautiful and stunning. The words are comforting and reassuring. I will most certainly read everything that Katie O'Neill puts my way. AND THE TEA DRAGONS are as cute and adorable as ever, and as I was reading the illustrated history of tea dragons included after the epilogue, I found myself once again being eternally frustrated that I could not have one. Because I want one SO BAD. I am ready. I am ready for the responsibility and the work and the dedication that goes into raising a tea dragon. I know the summary says this book is the conclusion to the series, but I absolutely reject that notion. All I want is more of these stories and images to grace my bookshelf forever and ever. Is that too much to ask?

Are those tears on my face? Absolutely! I've been a fan of Katie O'Neill and her work since I first discovered The Tea Dragon Society and it never cease to amaze me how wonderful these stories are and how much joy they bring to me.

In the Tea Dragon Tapestry, both Minette and Greta have grown up a bit but they have still much to learn, and it is quite a story of self discovery, and acceptance, and remembrance and love.

I don't think you'll find a more heartwarming story anywhere else, this is my to go when I'm feeling sad, it is just, pure happiness and softness.

And the art. Oh the art. It is beautiful and the colours have so much of life! I can't get enough of it.

The graphic novels from Katie O'Neill never cease to amaze me. The art style is definitely one of my favorites and I'm always so excited to have the chance to read another. The Tea Dragon Tapestry is no exception. While I don't think the plot of this one will be overly memorable like the previous two installments were, I can't deny the fact that I absolutely loved every moment of reading it. This is a 4.5/5 for me.

"...I feel homesick for the person I used to be..."

I had the ARC for over a week now and despite my excitement, I held off for a bit bec I wanted to focus all my attention to this wonderful, adorable, and absolutely charming graphic novel.

In this third installment of the Tea Dragon series, Greta, a blacksmith apprentice prepares herself for a test of skill and craftsmanship that would determine if she's fit to be tutored by a legendary master. Minette, on the other hand, is sent a tapestry depicting her family's ancestor, and then she subsequently experiences strange dreams that upset not only her sleep, but also her waking times.

I would describe it as low stakes but with high feelings, although now that I'm thinking about it, the stakes weren't really "low" for the characters. It could also be the adorable and cozy artstyle that cushions and lightens the heavy things, but the story doesn't lose its depth because of it. I liked the care in which themes of grief, loss of passion, and search for life purpose were handled.

On a personal level, I think I related more to Minette than to Greta, bec there's a part where she talks about feeling lost. Also, Greta already knew what she wanted to do in her life, what she wanted to accomplish, must be nice (LOL). But yeah. I'm glad that there's a mystery surrounding Minette's dreams bec it made the story more compelling to read. I also loved the parts where mentors acknowledge that their students also teach them something valuable, instead of just a one-way kind of deal. Oh, and also the themes of passing of knowledge and tradition to the next generation, absolutely loved it!

This is a direct continuation of the first Tea Dragon book and it's unfortunate that I haven't read that before this, but it didn't make this book less beautiful. I just think fans of Tea Dragon Society would understand where the characters are coming from, and what had happened, and would appreciate this conclusion as it is intended.

I love the recurring characters, though, esp Rinn and Aedhan bec they are more familiar to me. I also recognized Hesekiel and Erik, but they're much older than I remembered. Still, they are couple goals, and I felt it particularly when they're talking about staying put in a little town instead of going everywhere on adventures.

I highly recommend this for those who are looking for a charming graphic novel to get comfortable with. The past few weeks have definitely been difficult to everyone, and this read will help give yourself even just a moment of calm and ease. :)

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is already the third installment of Katie O'Neill's Tea Dragon graphic novel series and I hope she never stops. These are such gems to the graphic novel world and you should not be ignoring these.

There is something so very wholesome about these books where the main line is rarely about an 'evil'  person or being as you often see. It is about what drives these characters, their goals, their wants, their purposes in life. In this case we are talking about change. What if things change in your life and you feel like you have lost your purpose?

But there is also the topic of grief. A year later Ginseng is still finding it hard to open up to Greta and to enjoy life. It does a good job of making it clear that grief is not something that is over in a few weeks or months. Grief is different for everyone and those around them can only be patient and be there with them. I think that is an important message. Too often people expect people to bounce back right away or at least within a few weeks after they have lost someone. But that is not how grief works. It is a long process.

This is already the third installment and a continuation of the story that was told in the first one. I had not yet read the first one but I found it easy to settle into this story. I think you can read these out of order if you so wish to.

Adorable and full of diverse characters, this whimsical ending to the Tea Dragon Series was incredible! Evoking emotion through a strong story and beautiful artwork, O'Neill crafts an amazing world of lovable characters. I am definitively looking forward to reading her other works!

It was so lovely to return to Greta and Minette’s world of tea dragons with this book. Once again, Katie O’Neill delivers a story full of softness and heart. Seeing the growth in these characters from the first book was pleasing, like finding out an old friend has gotten even cooler with age. The visual epilogue’s double spread was the perfect cap to this series.
