Not a bad read,, plot was ok, writing was fine. It’s a book that would be great on holiday and then you could pass it onto the next person at the hotel

Unfortunately, I really didn't enjoy this book.

I was looking forward to a cheeky bit or erotica for my summer holiday, but was left disappointed. Although, there was a LOT of sex in this book, it felt very much like it was written for the male gaze and was sooo repetitive, it actually got boring. The characters were thoroughly unlikable too. It is pitched in the blurb like a mystery or thriller. It absolutely was not either of those things.

The setting sounded nice and was described well, that was the main (and potentially only) thing I enjoyed about this book.

I also realised in this book, that I am not the biggest fan of a 2nd person PoV.

PERFECT BEACH READ! Let me tell you I felt transported when reading it and I haven't felt like that in a long time with a book

This is by far and away one of the worst books that I have ever had the misfortune to read.

It had no plot. None. Not an iota of a plot. The twist was hilarious. The ending was god awful.

This is not a mystery or a thriller, it is pure erotica and it is such BAD sex. It's terrible. Do yourself a favour and just use the Internet.

Do not read this book. It is truly haunting and not in a good way!

I love erotic books, but this book just didn't do it for me. I thought the writing was clunky, and therefore very unsexy. It is such a shame that this book didn't pan out the way I anticipated because I had such high hopes for it.

There's definitely potential with this storyline, but I got a little lost. This book explores a lot of different kinks, fantasies, taboo stuff, and role playing one after another. I kind of struggled to get completely into the book because I didn't find the characters all that well-developed, and felt that the writing style left something to be desired. Regardless, I think it was an interesting intro to this genre.

I was intrigued by the cover and description of this book but very much struggled to get into this one. I stopped after a few pages and went to look at other people’s reviews, I really don’t think this is the book for me! I might return to it at some point purely to offer a better review but for now it really doesn’t seem like the sort of thing I want to read.

Thank you to netgalley, the author and the publisher for a copy.

I’m going to keep this short because I’m not in the habit of trashing anyones hard work.

First and foremost the cover is pretty and what initially attracted me to the book. Next, I’m all for sexual empowerment and to each their own, I’m no stranger to the darker side of erotic romance but I found this book to be more problematic than erotic. Issues with consent, lack of mention of safe sex when having sexual encounters with numerous partners, kids being around when all this is going on, what is essentially sexual harassment in the work place, I feel bad for the nympho nanny. 2nd person pov is not for me. In my opinion, it could’ve benefited from a bit more plot focus than just sex scene after sex scene. The sex scenes would’ve been much better if there wasn’t so much degradation.

This may be someones cup of tea but unfortunately it’s not mine.

I thought that this book was awful. It had no storyline at all and was ridiculously repetitive. Would not recommend.

Quick and sexy read - loved this one for a pool day! I thought it was an interesting storyline, and I will look for more by this author in the future.

I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately couldn’t.
The plot seemed interesting but was not planned out very well, abrupt sex scenes are not erotic!

This is pure smut. It is misogynistic smut at that. If you would like to be titillated, there are much better titles out there. The main character is just a vessel for any many she runs into. It's not cute.

A bit of an aimless plot but potentially interesting if you’re into erotica and fancy an easy-ish read. It wasn’t my cup of tea but this isn’t my usual genre so I can’t really give a well rounded review

Firstly there is no plot - at all!! Secondly, it is written in the second person which I absolutely hate in storylines.
Spoiler alert, it is a book about what turns out to be a young sex addict hired as a nanny for the summer to be used sexually by whichever male subject the author pops into the storyline at that point (sometimes all of them).
The sexual encounters, though they literally pepper every page, are not well described and could have been developed further to titillate the reader, instead they were dull, dreary and repetitive. If you are going to describe someone having sex with two males try and make the next time it happens (and it happens many times in this book) a little bit different.
The potential storyline is fantastical and could have been great if it had actually been given a storyline rather than just end up as a collection of group sex anecdotes.

So I didn't realize this one had already been published. I like the cover and that is basically the most positive part of the book. I did not find this book erotic. I did not find there to be any kind of story. None of the characters were likable. And I did not connect with the style of writing (esp the referring to the main character in the third person.... You do this... you do that... it didn't help connect the reader with the story and was distracting. I don't mind erotica- but this bordered on straight porn.

Thank you to NetGalley for the chance to read this and as I am 1 starring this here so I can provide the review as promised- will not be posting a review on Goodreads.

I love a well written book of erotica & this is no exception. Eliza takes a job as a nanny & holdidays in Italy with the family but it's no holiday. Yes, it's a bit predictable but a good read. I awlays feel that writing erotica is extremely difficult but this author doesn't fail. Recommended read.

It Would Be Unfair To Say I Disliked It, I Just Couldn’t Help Thinking That It Was Missing Something And That As Well As The Sexual Encounters Of Almost Every Page, I Think Eliza The Nanny Could Have Blackmailed The Male Characters, Rather Than Just Eluding To It At The End.

I hated this book. Just truly hated it! Content warning for: consent issues and sexual assault. There's no character development, no plot development, and definitely no thriller even though the blurb claimed there was one. Skip this one!

A very easy read. Surprisingly erotically graphic at times but done so in a pleasant way. It did not offend.
I look forward to reading more by Olivia O’Neill.

Having Said All That ~ It Would Be A Perfect Holiday Read Around The Pool With A Cocktail.
