This started out on a stereotype of husband screws the nanny but unfortunately as the story progresses the nanny becomes a non consenting sex worker. Now I don’t mean that the sex was non consensual, she was very much happy to oblige there. However, it becomes apparent at the end that the wife merely employed her to have sex with people across the summer.

Eliza has signed on as a nanny and soon realizes there was more to the position than childcare.

This book is written in second person.

Content warning for consent issues.

I received a copy of this hook in exchange for fair review.

This book is a good raunchy thriller which passes a few hours easily. The writing and plot development is drafted in a way that keeps you wanting to read more. However many of the raunchy scenes do not pass a certain level and slowly begins to feel repetitive towards the end of the novel.

If a job seems to good to be true - it probably is! Are you a nanny to teenagers or entertainment for the adults? And what exactly do you expect to get out of it - money or experience?
A fun book but definitely for an adult audience

After reading a few of the other reviews, there is not much more that I can say that others have not already mentioned. I'm not big on bashing authors so I won't go into great detail except to say that this was poorly written, plotted and the characters were terrible people.

The plot was very simple, and easy to follow (although I am not sure what the relevance was of the giant rabbit ?). The characters were fairly predictable, and the storyline was as expected for a novel classed as erotica. I would choose books by this author again, if I was looking for erotic stories, as the writing style was good.

thought that this was going to be a steamy summer romance but it is actually just a series of acts of sex, unrealistically portrayed with a central female character who craves sex but also wants to be loved and be a good nanny to the children she is looking after.

This is a steamy erotic read and that is really its main purpose. The story line and characters are quite weak and there are some bizarre and unrelated events and people that don't have anything to add to the story. Really it is all about sex and the Nanny's (Eliza) insatiable desires and those of the men around her. If you are just looking for a sexy holiday quick read then it might just be the thing for you.

The premise of this book had so much promise, I kept thinking it was going to take a turn into blackmail e.g. with the photos being taken. Even at the very start of the book the wife Sarah takes Eliza passport, I thought oh maybe something will come of that. Sadly nothing came from this book except a lot of thinking about sex, sex scenes and not much else...

I started reading the book, but it got me by the wrong vibes. I couldn't quite follow it and I felt quite uneasy reading a narration in the 2nd person (you) rather to 1st person (I).

I really tried to push myself to keep on reading, but I didn't enjoy it a bit. I ended up dropping it, after turning the first few pages. It was quite disappointing.

I have to confess this is the 2nd book in my life not being able to read a book. 🙁

The concept of this book held a lot of potential for steamy moments, but fell truly flat. Being a nanny on an island surrounded bu rich, attractive people— what more could you ask for? However, rather than a story, we got snippets of abrupt sex scene after sex scene, making this book read like pornography plays on pornhub. I was genuinely surprised to see this was written by a woman, because this is what I imagine erotica would be like if a man wrote it.

I wish there was something positive I could say, but even the scenes that held some promise fell short at the utter unrealistic portrayal of Eliza. I was in pain FOR the girl. That amount of sex isn’t realistic, and the writing in this book sheds a positive light on women being “always ready” for sex.

Perhaps the worst offensive of this book was that it was written in second person.

I wish I could’ve skipped this one truthfully. You won’t get a story here, just bits and pieces of sex scenes that seem tailored to appeal to men.

I received a complimentary copy of Pink Villa in exchange for an honest review. At first, I didn't know where the author was going with this story. It quickly became apparent that the summer nanny was addicted to sex and could take whatever she could get. There was definitely not a slow part of the story. If you are opposed to explicit sexual scenes, or don't like 2nd person narratives, I'd recommend trying a different book.

The premise of this book really captured my attention, it seemed thrilling in some way and also I liked the idea of setting it in Italy. Sadly it didn't meet my expectations, I was expecting more plot-wise.

Eliza has taken on a new job as a nanny with the perk of spending part of the summer at the family’s home in Tuscany. However, what seems an innocent position turns into pure debauchery.

I wish I could say I enjoyed this book. From the description, you think that something is going to happen outside of sex, sex, and more sex. Sadly, that is not the case. The plot was thin and difficult to find amongst all the sex scenes (there was supposed to be a plot, right?). The whole thing was poorly executed as well. Written in the second person point of view made things awkward. I’m used to seeing that in poorly written fan fiction, not a published book. On top of everything, the sex was BORING. Yes, there was a lot of it, but there should be something there to grab the reader’s attention. I don’t read erotica for boring sex. And trust me, it was far from "electrifying"

Overall, this was just poorly executed and if I could give it zero stars I would. Stay away from this one as there is much better erotica out there.

Pink Villa by Olivia O’Neill was an interesting read as it diverged a lot from what I expected. There was a lot more sex than anticipated and because of that, I didn’t get a great feel for the characters. I also think the choice of having it narrated in second person was maybe not the best as it felt hard to connect with the character throughout.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this digital ARC.

I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately couldn’t.

The blurb offers a sexy, fast paced thriller. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get to read any thriller content here whatsoever.

- The blurb of the story was misleading
- The story seems wacky as every character here has an insatiable desire for sex as if they might die if they didn’t do it “then and there”
- The writing style was detached
- Eliza’s character lacked depth
- The mysterious “hare/ creature” spotting was unexplained
- The character development was vague

I was really excited to read this book and kept searching for the mystery and thriller till the end only to find out it was never there.
The premise looked promising and the starting was good enough to get me hooked but it could have been better.

Thank you NetGalley and Olivia O Neill got providing me the e Arc in exchange of an honest review. I would still be looking forward to read more from the author in the future.

Started out slow, was unable to retain the interest even after a few hundred pages.

Personally, I felt this one has a lot many characters and also the base was not set correct. Even though I had an idea about how this story turns out by reading the blurb, still It sure turns into a sleazy mess.

A two star from me.

Unfortunately Pink Villa fell short for me. From the very beginning of the book I struggled with the writing being done in the second person. It felt strange and had me feeling disconnected. The story line held potential however details and specifics including background info was lacking. I know this is from the Erotica genre and there were plenty of sex scenes but as a reader I was looking for more from the characters.

Pink Villa is about a girl named Eliza that has taken a job as a nanny when really she anything but that. She was there to please the men that lived or visited Pink Villa. She went in as a naive young lady, but came out a lot smarter.

It was very difficult for me to read this book because it didn't flow well. It was also written in the 2nd person point of view and it was very confusing for me. It had really steamy scenes, but that is all it had.

Pink Villa, Olivia O’Neill

Escape to Tuscany for an electrifying summer of hedonism, seduction and desire at a perfect pink Tuscan villa.

Lots to work with here, erotica is not my usual genre, although I have read 50 Shades.

This book begins well, with a gentle build up of sexual tension however once it starts, it starts, sex scene after sex scene. I always prefer when sex scenes are written by women. I think they handle it better in regards to language however Elizas constant desperation did eventually get tiring.

I felt like this was ramping up to some kind of dark twisted thrill and though the ending left an opening for a darker second book, even some kind of revenge plot, i didn’t get the edgy thrill i was waiting for.

This book was advertised as being good for fans of “My Dark Vanessa” considering the storyline and issues tackled of My Dark Vanessa involving non consensual sex between an Teacher and a Student it feels VERY inappropriate to compare the two, they are very different books.

Overall this is definitely a steamy summer read. Easy to slip into by the pool.
