Thank you to the publisher for my review copy. All opinions are my own.

Briefly put, I did not finish this title. The story itself seemed promising. The writing. Well done. I had zero interested in continuing. There was nothing stand out about the title. Sadly, I decided not to pick up this title again....after trying multiple times.

The Forget-me-not Bakery by Caroline Flynn

A young successful business who moves from New York City to a small country town to follow her dream of opening a bakery. This story shows how small communities work and everyone knows your business before you do. They care about you ,look out for you but also stick their nose in your life whether you want them too or not.

There are fun characters and of course Jazz the dog.

A slow read to get going but charming all the same very enjoyable. 3.5/5

I love romance books and this one was just as wonderful as some of the others that I have read. I enjoyed reading the story about Paige and Cohen and their chance at finding true love. Add in some bakery items and you have a wonderful story that was a pleasure to read.

From a small town called Port Landon comes a beautiful sweet romance about finding a place to truly call home.
Paige Henley has always dreamed of owning a bakery, but her busy life in New York City has never left much room for following her heart. So, when she’s given the chance to move to Port Landon to set up her own bakery, she’s ready to take a leap of faith and make her dreams a reality....

This was a nice afternoon read by the fire on a cold lockdown afternoon. A little bit predictable and follows the majority of love story paths but enjoyable none the less! My thanks to netgalley for an arc of this book in return for my honest opinion.

It was a slow start but the story kept my attention. However there were places where all I wanted was to eat in the bakery instead of read!

I loved the story. Well written for a cloudy day, also inspirational to follow your dreams. A great Christmas or birthday gift. Read it you'll enjoy it.

Cute and sweet story, though I found it to be a bit too saccharine for my taste sometimes. The very dreary and sad opening could also have been nixed, imo, because it just didn't have the bright and hopeful vibe of the rest of the book and could make you think it's a sad and dark book. It's a tad unrealistic at times, but then again, it's also the perfect type of sweet story you want to curl up with, plaid and hot chocolate included, on a cold afternoon

I love American small town romances. You get to feel the real sense of community. This book covers grief, romance, new challenges and the trick of juggling blended families.
Paige opens a new bakery and meets the local vet on her opening day. They get to know each other and she loves spending time with him and his son. He's still missing his late wife and protective of his son- this brings different problems to the relationship and the will they/won't they element.

The author captures the heartfelt small town spirit in this charm, ing romance. From a small town called Port Landon comes a beautiful, sweet romance about finding a place to call home.

I enjoyed this heart-warming story. It took loss and grief and melded them back into a love story with a small-town background and wonderful characters.

Thanks to Net Galley for sending me an advanced reader’s copy for review.

A sweet story my readers will enjoy. We love bakery books and this one will be no exception. The characters were likable, the setting a place we will want to move, and Jazz a dog we want to own! I look forward to adding this to our collection and looking for more titles by this author.

I absolutely loved this palate cleanser! I read a lot of thrillers and historical fiction, so this heartwarming book was so refreshing to me. I love to read anything about London, as I dream of visiting there. This book really gripped my heart, and there could have been more romance, but I really enjoyed it regardless. I want to read more by this author!
Thank you, Netgalley and to the publisher for my advanced copy!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this wonderful book.

The Forget Me Not Bakery was such a sweet story of leaving the life you thought you needed or were supposed to have for a life that you were meant to have.

"She understood what had taken Cohen years to figure out - happiness wasn't something someone else could give; it was something people had to allow themselves to find, experience, and accept. Only then could they let someone else in to share it with. "

"When you know, you know."

Paige left her highly paid, highly coveted job in NYC to pursue her dream in the small town of Port Landon. Her cousin, Allison lives there and was able to convince her to purchase a bakery that was up for sale to start her own business. Little did Paige know, Port Landon had more in store for her then what was bargained for.

There is another story that ties in with Paige's. It is about Dr. Cohen and how one tragic incident changed the course of his life forever. The story starts off with Cohen attending his wife's funeral with his 2 year old son, wondering how he was going to survive. Thanks to the small community of Port Landon, his friends, neighbors, his life went on where he runs a successful veterinary clinic, raised his son and attends to all the wonderful pets in the community.

Fast forward 8 years where the 2 worlds collide and the magic happens between incredible tasting desserts, long walks and a spunky dog named Jazz!!

This adorable book charmed me from the start. I absolutely love a sweet love story set in a small town involving a bakery - the premise of so many of the most precious Hallmark movies - it's a winning combination! This love story featured the growing connection between former NYCer and bakery owner Paige, who came to Port Landon looking for a fresh start and slower pace of life to chase her dream, and Port Landon's own Dr. Cohen Beckett, the town veterinarian who has not focused on much beside his practice and his son Bryce since his wife's passing many years before. I especially loved Bryce's character and how his hilarious comments, love of cake, and adorable dog helped to bring Paige and Cohen together. This was an incredibly sweet story, and Flynn really brought the town of Port Landon to life with it's nosy residents (I loved the concept of the diner gossip gang and the ongoing theme of gossip making its way around town faster than the reality of a situation). Definitely a perfect read for lovers of small-town love stories and delicious cakes!
