Loved this series when they were first printed, and have thoroughly enjoyed re-connecting with them and reading them again. Lovely series I would recommend to anyone.

I loved this book it was so very Welsh that is not meant to sound bad. I am Welsh and I dont get home much but the way things are described are perfect. The story runs so smoothly 5 Stars.Thank you netgalley for letting me review it and Iris gower for writing it.

The Cordwainers #4

Arian often shocked the residents of Worlds Ens withher wild behaviour. As she began to make a name for herself I the shoe making business, she wins the backing of the intriguing and charismatic Calvin Temple. But Arian'd venture with a French Compzny failed, going to loose all of their money. Arian sets out for France hoping to salvage their investment.

All good things come to an end and this is the final book in the Cordwainers series. The books have all been descriptively written. The characters are well rounded and believable. Tgujgs go from bad to worse when Arian gets to France. She finds herself on the wrong side of the law. She has a hard decision to make. Will she end up in jail or find herself in a loveless marriage with a man she despises. I've really enjoyed this series and I will read more from Iris Gower in future.

I would like to thank #NetGalley, #RandomHouseUK #TransworldPublishers and the author #IrisGower for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Arian. Book 4 of the Cordwainers series. I met Arian in book 3. She was Fon’s friend in Swansea, Honey’s Farm.

Wow! I am really enjoying each book in the series.

Here we meet Arian, a lady dealt cruelly by men and life but surviving against all odds.

Iris Gower took me on an adventure to the lives and minds of people in this novel.

This series is totally different from the historical fiction novels I do read. This is a genre on its own.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions in this review are mine.

I enjoyed The 4th book in this series, but it has me wondering how so much bad can happen to one person? She doesn’t give up or let it keep her from success. I also enjoyed the little snippets of stories from the previous books. I will look into other books by this author.

In this 4th book in the series I just felt it had a very similar storyline unrequited love etc. It seemed quite disjointed jumped from one person to the next in the next paragraph. I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd book in this series but the last 2 books seemed dragged out and not as good

Book 4. More on Arian, and her men troubles. If you have read the others in the series I highly recommend this one.
