Cute doodling guide, can see that it would appeal to children and teenagers as well as anyone who is inspired by the minimalist 'kawaii' doodles frequently seen in Japanese mook zines. Unsurprisingly, the contributor artists to this book are in fact largely familiar to me as a consumer of Japanese Magazines, an example being amycco. Has some cute examples of how you could create doodles for celebration cards etc.

Cute illustrations. However, there were a lot of typos in the text, pretty sure it was meant to say Animals and instead it said Anal! Might want to rethink this format! I think it would work great as a book, but it doesn’t translate well for kindle.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

This is a very cute book. Its like a drawing tutorial for dummys with a kawai style. Some thimes the drawing goes to far form "basic form" and become more complicated.

Will b easing this at school after lockdown to encourage children who say they ‘can’t draw’ Baptist’s become more confident with drawing.

I am a beginner and like to doodle. I loved the concept, everything was elaborate in detail and simple way. Which made following the process so easy.
Plus the variety of doodles is simply IMPRESSIVE.

I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to art and drawing, and a this book was perfect for me! Cute ideas, easy to follow designs, and it made it really fun to work on my art skills! I think this would be really great for anyone who has /worked with kids, though it's totally usable for just adults as well.

I will definitely be recommending this to friends, students, budding artists, and anyone who wants to learn how to make a quick sketch. It's fun and super accessible for everyone, so definitely not limited to just kids!

I journal, mainly during work, and I like to doodle. I'm not very good by any means, so finding any book that has nice easy instructions on simple doodles is a blessing. Especially at work.

Doodle It All by Boutique-sha is a beautiful art book teaching even the most basic doodlers how to draw countless adorably simple works of art.
I love that this book starts at the beginning and outlines different techniques and materials for drawing so that readers can make the most of their artwork.
The doodles themselves are easy to follow along with and there are over 1000 in a number of different categories such as animals, food, and cultural elements of different countries.
The book also goes over different ideas of where to use these doodles such as embellishing your planner, bullet journal, or in cards and invitations.

Many thanks to Zakka Workshop and NetGalley.

Super cute book. This book of “how to..” doodles are simple to follow and are fun and quirky. We especially enjoyed drawing the different animals, birds and bugs. I think even less artistic people would be surprised at the results they can create when using this book. Perfect for kids who love to draw

This is a really cute book that I would have loved to draw along with as a kid. With lots of simple ideas, from animals, to food, even different outfits, there really is something for every kind of occasion. This could keep you busy for hours, and has lots of tips on different kinds of pens, colours, techniques, alongside the drawing tips. My only criticism would be that there could have been one or two additional steps for some of the slightly more complicated doodles. Overall a very sweet book, that would make a gift for any beginner who enjoys crafty activities.

This is a really nice guide on how to draw various things in a very simple and nice way! I really enjoyed how many tips and tricks it mentioned, as well as all the examples of using similar shapes for different drawings! Would really recommend to anyone that wants to learn to draw a larger number of things!

I enjoyed this guide to doodling but felt like it still skipped many steps. However, it will be great for people who are semi-artistic.

A big thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me and e-ARC of this book in exchange with an honest review.

I like the concept of this book. I'm actually not good at drawing or doodling but as I browse the pages, it made me think how simple it is when you just know a technique to make it easier. It is a perfect for kids as they are learning how to draw and the illustrations are so cute that kids can easily be interested in it.

This is a great book for young children to help them learn to draw recognisable objects and people. It is a great confidence builder as the pictures are easy to replicate. There are all sorts of subjects covered from animals to food to household objects and some famous landmarks. It is a great book to keep on a shelf. It would also be suitable for adult doodlers especially those wanting to brighten up a journal or scrapbook. a useful little resource.

A huge thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!

The doodles in this book are so cute, and most of them really look very easy. I haven't gotten a chance yet to try them out, but I definitely will! I'm already excited and have several ideas and uses in mind! The book mentions you really only *need* one pen, but let's face it; everyone who likes drawing has unlimited pens, so I had a good chuckle at that, haha!

The biggest downside of this book is the use of 'feminine'. Apparently quite a few things give a 'feminine effect' and when we're fighting so hard to break stereotypes it's disheartening. Only feminine was used, too. Nothing was masculine, although other words that clearly meant the same were. It really bothered me.

There is also a page of World Folk Costumes. Which is great. Except that all the girls drawn are white. And all but one of the costumes are Asian. It's written and drawn by Asian women, though, so perhaps I'm looking into it too much. I just felt it needed to be said.

All in all it's a cute book, but it's nothing ground breaking, nor does it feel like something inventive. A very solid happy 3 stars!
