Simply SUPERB! Yep, Suzanne did it AGAIN! This that is my all time fav PNR series, cements my love and adoration in Omens. Hilarious, intriguing, action packed, and sooooo steamy, Khloe and Keenan’s tale kept me glued to the pages, just like its The Dark In You predecessors. Utterly and completely to this magical world!!!

Great addition to the series. Keenan and Khloe had been fighting their attraction for so long that I just knew their story would be great. Khloe is her crazy self and Keenan is very protective. Great chemistry, great story and action packed. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

Sometimes when you wait for a story your anticipations get too high and in results, the book did not meet your needs. I craved Keenan and Khloe’s story since Burn (see the expectations level) and I am going to say this: Suzanne Wright never disappoints. She knows what she is doing and I admire her creative mind because she comes up with so unexpected plot twists my head is still spinning from them. Her heroes and unique and vibrant. Every story is deliberately written and captivating from the very first page. And every time the author adds something extra and memorable.

Omens was everything I wanted and so much more. There was never a dull moment in this book. Keenan and Khloe were explosive, entertaining, and highly addictive. I could finally get into their minds and fall in love with them. They couldn’t be more different but they matched together. Their banter, palpable chemistry, possessive and protective streak were something my heart craved. I laughed and almost cried.

Expect the unexpected. Some secrets are revealed but the author dropped a few new (I need answers now). I truly loved coming back to this amazing world and every single hero from previous stories. Omens in my top read so far and I can’t wait for the next story.

An arc kindly received via NetGalley. Thank you so much!

I should have figured we were due for a new Dark in You book soon, but I had no idea about Omens releasing in July until the day before the cover reveal and I cannot tell how overjoyed I was at finding that out! Not only was I excited because I love this series so much, but I was seriously despairing that I wasn’t going to get a new Suzanne Wright book until October and let me tell you, the struggle was real, so it was a huge relief as soon as I saw Omens. I’m not one to re-read very often, but I needed a comfort/pick-me-up read, so I recently began Burn again and I decided that in honor (and as an excuse that made feel better for re-reading instead of reading the tons of books on my TBR) of Omens, that I would just go through the whole series again. I’m not going to lie, that did make me want Raini and Maddox’s book more than Keenan and Khloé’s, but I still absolutely loved Omens!

Omens was just as thrilling, intriguing, and entertaining as I’ve come to expect from this series and there were times when I couldn’t tear myself away from this book. It was so fun, steamy, and full of all the good tensions and some really top notch action scenes. Omens jazzed me up as I was in it and I’m still jazzed just remembering it — it was fan-flipping-tastic! I loved, loved, loved Keenan and Khloé’s story and my excitement for Raini and Maddox’s book next can’t be contained!

This was an amazing continuation of the series. I would absolutely recommend it for fans of paranormal romance. It is part of a series and while it can be read on its own I would recommend reading them in order.

*UPDATED* 1st, Just let me apologize for the loong review. It's just.....Well, read on.

I absolutely LOVE Suzanne Wright's stories! And Omens is one of my favorite in this series, with Burn, the 1st book of the series, being my all time favorite! In this addition to the Dark in You series, you have all your usual banter between a strong female character and a macho alpha. But in THIS book, there's so much more! Suzanne actually caught me off guard! Pleasantly so. (Although, at one point......NOPE! No matter how I think of writing what I want to say, it can be a spoiler. And one thing that is a HUMONGOUS pet peeve of mine, is when people don't have enough courtesy for other readers by flagging their "SPOILER ALERTS"! So, MAYBE, I'll post it down farther in my review, If I decide to add A spoiler alert spot.). There seems to be quite a bit more going on in this story than what she has in her other books of this series. But it doesn't seem bloated. It actually all works great and even made me that much more excited for the next installment, on top of my usual impatient excitement for another book of hers! This has No cliff hanger. Thank goodness! (Another HUGE pet peeve are Cliff Hangers. But I've not read one book from Suzanne that's had one.). Okay, let's get to the good stuff....

In this book you get Khloe's story. And just saying, she is my 2nd favorite character besides Harper. She has No filter and does some crazy ass stuff that makes me laugh out loud, HARD! (In public, people actually ended up laughing with me and didn't even know why they were. Lol That's how hard and abruptly I would end up laughing.) But Khloe is also a really smart, Strong, person/demon. A little OCD, and a Lot crazy, but smart. Keenan is a lot more serious person/demon. He has reasons to be, but Khloe seems to mess him all up in more ways than a couple. Haha Then when someone from the past comes around, things get a little weird. And, when Khloe once again, gets in trouble, all Hell starts to rattle his cage of control.

I know all of that was a little vague, but, I don't want to say much more because I Really think you'll enjoy finding things out yourself. But I will say that on top of a LOAD of humor, good deal of action, suspense, sexual frustration and sexual action, there is just so, SO, much that happens in this story, that you'll grip your reader, book, or what have you, so hard, (I thought I cracked my Kindle A couple times because I'd been gripping it so damn hard I would hear it make a cracking like echo sound.), because of the suspense, righteous anger, regular old anger, worry, fear, surprise, laughter, etc, that goes on in this book. It's freaking NUTS! But Good Nuts. Not to mention we learn a couple new things and at least one of them has to be reason for another book in this series. Right Suzanne??? 😁 This is one of my favorite reads in this series. I can't wait for the next installment and I think you'll agree! If you haven't already read the other books in this series, you don't really have to. But I'd highly recommend it. You'll understand the other characters and the dynamics of their lives a lot better. But Suzanne does quickly go over short explanations of certain things in each book to help refresh our memories. Regardless, I have read the first couple of books in this series a few times and when I saw this book coming out, I reread all 5 of the books in this series before I read Omens. (Again, I didn't need to, but I like to refresh my memory on more indepth information on all characters and their personalities. Plus, I just LOVE this series!)

I also suggest any of her other books like her Deep in Your Vein series with Vampires. (Awesome vampire series! Again, laughter is a common occurrence but also a Lot is action & MUCH more.). Or any of her wolf shifter series, (Has laughter but has more action and suspense, etc. No less great read, though!), or any of her stand alone books, like From Rags to Riches &/or her newest release from Oct this year called The Favor. (O.M.G. That is another great read!) They All have attitude, alpha men and a great story to pull you in and take you along for a ride!

Well, now that I've been long winded in this review, (*sigh), I'm sure you noticed that I Highly recommend this story. So, if you have the time, grab a couple drinks & some snacks, because I guarantee you'll not want to put this one down even after you read the last page!! If you don't have the time, I STILL suggest you grab this one and start reading in between whatever life activities you do.

ENJOY!

I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

Omens is the sixth book in the Dark in You Series. Suzanne Wright is the queen of paranormal romance and it doesn't matter if it is a spirit, demon, incubus, shifter, or anything in between, if she is writing it...I am in!!! Khloe, an imp, loves to antagonize the smoking hot alpha, Keenan! Knowing they can never be together, they both have done whatever it takes to avoid the attraction they feel for each other. However, everyone knows that a demon will always claim what he wants!

Told in multiple POV, Omens is a smoking hot read with passion, action, and suspense. Keenan and Chloe were meant to be and I enjoyed every second of their blooming romance.

Overall, Omens is a must-read for Dark in You Fans. If you haven't read a Wright book yet...what on earth are you waiting for?!?!?

Khloe and Keenan's story will capture you from the beginning to end. They have danced around each other for so long that them coming together can not be easy for either of them. This story is full of action and drama and belongs on your reread shelf.

This plot and story were done great and so easy to follow. I loved the narrator. Kept me intrigued in the story the entire time. This was also my first read by this author and will NOT be my last.

OMG, this book! I have been looking forward to this book for a very long time. Like, circa Ashes. Which, honestly, just made me nervous the longer I had to wait. You know how you look forward to a character's book so hard, and then you read it and you're just like ....

That didn't happen with this book! So if you've been waiting for this book for forever - IT IS SO EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!

Khloe is SO crazy! She is literally on the crazy-train, heading to crazy-ville and her goal is to drag everyone with her. In fact, she literally - on PURPOSE - tries to drive Keenan to drink! She's only just perfect.

If you're looking for something funny, this is definitely the book for you. I'm not kidding - I seriously highlighted over 60 scenes that made me laugh, chuckle, or grin!

I have so much I could say about this book and why I like it and what I'm looking forward to reading in the next few books, but I don't want to spoil it. So just go read it. You will not regret it!

4+ Stars

I’ve been waiting for Khloë and Keenan’s story since for-e-ver, so when I heard there was an opportunity to get an ARC copy of Omens and read it a whole month before its release date I couldn’t run fast enough to my computer to request it (and I mean this—I literally interrupted what I was doing to fast walk into the study where my desktop is).

In true Suzanne Wright fashion, Khloë was a totally kick-ass chick with a healthy side of crazy. Her ability to drive people nuts was only rivaled by her loyalty and whole-hearted-loving and I totally adored her. I was surprised by her issues, as she was always the one encouraging Harper to move past hers, so this took me back a little bit to be honest.

Keenan’s always been a bit of a mystery throughout the series, always with his vodka flask at hand, his aversion to being photographed and the monster in his pants. The fact that he takes his damn sweet time to finally go ahead and pursue Khloë made me feel the story had a bit of a slow beginning, but once he pulls his head out of his butt and goes after what he’s been wanting for so long things got interesting.

There’s no lack of mystery and action in Omens and Keenan with his monster D and his magic Incubus pheromones made for some seriously hot sexnanigans. I must confess that I felt he was a bit overshadowed by Khloë’s badassery and I kept waiting for him to eventually come and save the day… instead, it was View Spoiler » which I have to say, was the freaking best really.

Even though I had such high expectations for this book, Ms. Wright as always delivered an action-packed, suspense riddled, hot AF story with characters I completely love and can’t wait to hear more of. I’m crossing my fingers next we get to read about Raini and this Maddox guy.

This book has it all, suspense, snark and kick-ass demons. Both main characters I've met before in the previous books in the series but reading this book makes you understand why Khloe and Keenan turned out the way they did. I also loved the fact that Asher is showing a bit of what he can do and I can't wait for the story to continue in the next book.

Suzanne has once again wowed me with her mad writing skills and I urge anyone who loves a good paranormal romance with grit would love not just this book, but the series. I have now read the book and listened to the audiobook. I do love the Imps and Chloe has been one of my favourite character since the beginning of the Dark in You series.
In my opinion this is the darkest book in the series but, as Omens spends more time with Jolene's lair, there is plenty of humour too. I always feel like the newest book is my favourite but in all honesty the whole series is amazing.
