I love Lucy Coleman’s writing style. It’s easy to get involved in the lives of the characters and the settings are so descriptive. Who wouldn’t enjoy the Santa Ahoy specials with Tollie and Imogen, weaving the magic of Christmas

It isn’t the Christmas Day Celebration Imogen and Gray had planned but It is a Christmas they won’t forget. This is a story of friendship family and forgiveness and a book I thoroughly enjoyed

Christmas At the Loch Keeper’s Cottage. Fans of Lucy Coleman know they are in for a treat when they open one of her books. This time she has created a charming story that focuses on family, both real and created. The small Cotswold town where Immi lives with her grandfather, Tollie, is preparing for their big Christmas charity event, the Santa Ahoy Cruises. Immi is so happy that her longtime love, Gray is able to join the celebration. Gray has been away from her far too much caring for his ill mother. Immi has insecurities. Her mother abandoned the family when Immi was a baby, then her dad died and she is terrified that Gray’s situation with his mother will prevent them from being together forever. The universe has some surprises for Immi as an unexpected find gives rise to an unexpected friendship with grandfather’s former housekeeper, Mrs. Price...the same Mrs. Price who had resigned when Immi came to live with Tollie. This book is filled with wonderful characters and heartwarming situations. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
