My granddaughter loved this book read to her over Zoom during lockdown. This book would be ideal reading material either for reading to a young child of for slightly older children 3+ to explore themselves.

This is just the sort of book that my Nursery class would really enjoy. Not only does it rhyme, which I really like, but it is all about the animals and the noises they make and is a great way to learn.

Quick little rhyming book that always go down a treat in my household!
Great little pictures alongside side and an easy to read story that just seemed to flow really well.
My daughter in particular loved doing the noise impression of each animal!

I read this book in bed with my daughter last night and she really enjoyed it!

It reminded me a little of the nursery rhyme - Row, Row, Row Your Boat and I think that was why my daughter enjoyed it so much, she also liked joining in and making the different noises so it was great for me as a mum to get her involved and active with the story.

The images were nice and bright and really brought the story to life too and they held my daughter's attention from start to finish too so this was definitely a winner in our house!

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!!

This is a gorgeous, bright book that is absolutely perfect for young children. It has a multitude of jungle animals with flaps showing the noises each animal makes inside their mouths. This would be perfect for teaching children the names of animals and their corresponding sounds.

There's lots of alliteration in the story and great vocabulary choices which makes the text more enjoyable to read aloud. The author has clearly thought about the rhythm of the text to make the story engaging. This would be a brilliant bedtime story to share and engage with. The child would have great fun making the animal noises and joining in.

Wonderful and vibrant lift-the-flap title, perfect for little ones! My little one loved the rhymes and we can’t wait to buy a copy for our shelf !

A lovely book for young children, repetitive so they can follow, with the addition of flaps for them to lift. A great book to share.

A beautiful, colourful and engaging book for the youngest of book lovers. Although we weren’t able to physically open the flaps my children enjoyed the surprise element of the movement on the screen and I know they would love opening the flaps in the actual book. Lovely descriptions of the animals and a wide range of vocabulary which is so important in books for young children. The rhythm of the text made it easy reading for adults and enjoyable to listen to for children.

Beautifully illustrated this book is a treat to read. The pictures are eye catching and, although we had the ebook version, the flaps would be entertaining and engaging for young children.

The text lends itself to voices and actions, the alliteration of the snake, the snapping crocodile &, predictably, the roaring lion were particular favourites for my boys.
