A charming book with stunning illustrations and lyrical rhyming text. Snow Ghost is searching for a place to rest and be welcome.
Soaring over the town and country, she sees children playing and laughing in their garden. Swooping down to make snow angels with them, she feels this is the home for her.
Though set in winter, there is plenty of warmth and a warm glow throughout the story.
The illustrations truly set this story apart and the magical feel to them will draw you in!

Snow Ghost is a beautiful book about a shimmering snow ghost who was trying to find a place to rest. She wanted a home where people would welcome her and have fun.

She travelled the land until she came across a farm with children having fun in the field. When she lays her snow she knows from their expressions and laughter that she has found the right place.

The book is told in a rhyming manner and even though it is about something ice cold the book gives off this warm, loving feeling. The words are kept to a minimum so it would be a good book for a new reader.

The illustrations are outstanding and really capture the essence of the book and the snow-filled land looks amazing. The dark colours are emphasised by the glistening white of the snow and the children are so adorable.

This would make a superb bedtime story for wintertime, especially once there is snow on the ground. I adored this book and I can see lots of children adoring it too.

This is a lovely book. The images are amazing (similar to Kim Lewis’) and the story is simple, but unusual. This is a great story to share with young children.
