My son enjoyed these stories, but they didn’t inspire him to find out more about the mythology like other books he’d picked up with me - this was a good experience for what it was and we both enjoyed the artwork.

Really well written and great graphics. Thor is one of my all time favourites so really enjoyed this. Would happily read again.

Brilliant read for my young son - he loves the Greek Gods and loved this book that we read together. Looking forward to seeing if there are any more to read.

I really like the idea behind this book, a short chapter book which introduces Norse mythology to children who may only be aware of the Marvel versions of Thor and Loki! The sentences are short and snappy making this a great read for reluctant readers or those who are starting to read chapter books on their own. It would be helpful for the recommended age range to be shown on the book to help parents/educators/children/booksellers - there are some scenes of violence which would be unsuitable for younger readers but the recommended age of 8+ is appropriate.

I really liked how this book introduces Thor and Loki, re-telling their stories in an age-appropriate way whilst keeping the two characters true to their natures in the original myths.

This is a great book to introduce young readers to Norse mythology. It had all the details and comedy of the myths (including some gore which I'm a fan of and I'm sure the kids will be too) while being short and really easy to read. I just wish it had been a tiny bit longer. The pictures added so much to the book, all the characters were just as I picture them in my head when I read the myths. The small quiz at the end is fun and a great way to test how much the reader has taken in. I really hope that the next one is about Loki :)

What a wonderful introduction to Norse Mythology, these three stories are perfect for reading out loud together for new readers.
