This series is unlike anything I have ever come across. It's great to see legends and heroes being introduced in this way to young readers. The language used is simplistic and the extra questions and quiz at the end of the book will help parents engage with their children's reading.

Hercules is such a well known story, mainly because of the Disney movie, and this book just made me love the story even more. It’s only a short one; about 95 pages, but it was so cute! Hercules wants to be famous forever and the only way for him to ensure this happens is to complete the seemingly impossible tasks the king sets him. I love the illustrations throughout the book, these along with the simplistic writing style will really help grip children who don’t necessarily read much. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Both me and little one have really been enjoying Benjamin’s books at the moment. This one didn’t disappoint another great story with lovely illustrations.

A good introduction to the myths about the hero Hercules. Told in a very simplified format this will encourage young people to seek out more detailed versions of these tales. Useful for working with younger readers who are studying Ancient Greece in school.

I really enjoyed this story - it was well written and easy to follow.

This book is part of the Bloomsbury High Low series which has been introduced to help and encourage those that are struggling and/or reluctant readers and for me I think it would be a big hit!

The stories of Hercules in this book are action packed and exciting, they are absorbing and dangerous, there are monsters and fun adventures features that were embarked upon by Hercules in Greek Mythology. The images are great - they really illustrate the story well.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, a fun read and love the ways to get involved and the questions and discussion points at the end - highly recommended!!
