Before I start this review , I have to say Karen Rose is one of my favourite Authors. I have every single book she has published and will always one click buy without reading the blurb. I had no doubt I would love this book and it held every I knew it would and more, she knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I waited a while for Mercy and Rafe’s story. After reading say you sorry which was Daisey’s and Gideon’s story I was really excited for this and knew it would be great, It held up to all my expectations and kept me on the edge of my seat like all her books do.

I really loved the main characters in this story you have Mercy and Rafe who you meet in Say your sorry in the previous book and I have to say I literally couldn’t wait for their story, you get to see some characters that return like Gideon and Daisy and and some other characters from the book Say Your Sorry. You also get new characters that are introduced from Mercy life in New Orleans.

I was routing for Mercy and Rafe throughout this story, I love how there is a element of romance in Karen Roses book but how she also manages to keep you on the edge of your seat and bitting at your nails with the thriller side of the story.

I find Karen Rose’s writing really unique and easy to follow and I honestly can’t wait for the next book in the Sacramento series and I’m secretly hoping it’s Tom’s book that’s next.

Say No More picks up after Say Your Sorry , it has Dark scenes and a perfect mix of mystery, thriller and romance that keeps you turning the pages.

I really loved and enjoyed this book and want to thank netgalley, the publisher and Author for this Arc.

Thank you so much to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advanced copy of this book. As an avid Karen Rose fan this book definitely did not disappoint.

The body count may be rising with each new book but so does the excitement. Despite the heavy subject matter within the book I was still gripped throughout and couldn’t put the book down.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Rafe and Mercy in the last book and was so happy that they got the chance to have their story told in this sequel.

I am very much looking forward to the next in the series.

You just can’t go wrong with a Karen Rose novel - pacy and tense from beginning to end.
Say No More picks up where Say You’re Sorry left off, this time focusing on Gideon’s sister Mercy, and her budding relationship with Rafe, all whilst a madman from the cult she grew up in is trying to get to her.
I haven’t missed a single Karen Rose novel, and whilst they tend to follow a similar structure and plot, they are always exciting enough to keep me coming back for more. I love the huge cast of characters and how she manages to weave them all into each other’s lives, and the addition of romance makes this far steamier than your average thriller - Rose certainly knows how to create plenty of sexual tension from the get go!
I rate this a 4 out of 5 purely because there’s no big surprise element as I know from previous books that there will generally be a happy ending - not that I’m complaining! This was another cracking read, impossible to put down, and fans of Rose will not be disappointed.

Say No More was an intense fast paced marvel!
It starts six weeks after the first instalment of the Sacramento series (which I hadn't read, but this did not detract from the brilliance of the book) with an escape attempt from the Eden cult!
The start of the book was heart stoppingly absorbing and the energy just kept coming.
The story lines were substantial and gritty and the story was full of strong characters.....a real goodies versus baddies theme, so there are plenty of creepy characters with hideous agendas too!
Character dynamics were great and I particularly liked Mercy and Rafe's connection.
I can't wait for the next book in this series. I've read books by Karen Rose before and Say No More definitely did not disappoint

Having recently enjoyed Say You're Sorry, the 1st book in this series I couldn't wait to read this, the follow up. .Although the 1st book wraps up its case satisfactorily Karen Rose always leaves the reader with clues to the next story. This left me eager to read what I knew would be Mercy's story and I wasnt diappointed. The description of the conditions she lived in as part of a cult left me stunned and the tension that is racked up as her pursuer gets closer had me gasping for breath. But this wouldn't be a Karen Rose suspense thriller without a good sprinkling of romance and some humour. One of her best books in my opinion.

The Chase is On... Great Read 🤓

Redding, California 13 years previous Rhoda thought her death was imminent. Bartered her own life in the hope of saving her children. Being held in a cult community.

Back to the present, Mercy dealing with the aftermath of living in Eden, trying to make peace with her sibling and move on with her life. Due to recent news events, this brings to a certain elders attention that Mercy is not dead as previously advised, is determined to drag Mercy back to prove she's still alive to another elder for his own gains, leaving a trail of devastation in his quest...

Told from various perspectives, Whilst Say No More is number 2 in the Sacramento Series, if you haven't read the first, it will not effect your reading of this book. A great overall read, the chase is on, for justice and love...

This is my first Karen Rose book and I really enjoyed it.
The book centres around Mercy who wants to make amends with her brother Gideon, as for years she hated him for leaving her and her mum in Eden, a restrictive cult.
Suffering abuse, brain washing, and manipulation in the commune Mercy has a lot to be angry about.
With the story of the cult being in the media, Ephraim tracks Mercy down and nearly gets to kidnap her to take her back to Eden.
Mercy is terrified but Rafe is nearby and saves her from a fate worse than death.
Mercy quickly realises she will never be truly free from her past and instead of trying to hide, she needs to face it.
This is an action packed romantic thriller that I really enjoyed.
Thanks to Headline and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

i have read about a third of the Say No More. I am sure that Karen Rose has a good following and this will be a popular with those who have read her previous novels. The storyline does not move forward as fast as I would like and find too much is spent on the characters and even more of them entering the story a third of the way into the book. I will persevere and will give a full review on finishing the book.

I received my ecopy of Say No More from Netgalley, I hadn't read the first in this series but I don't believe that impacted my enjoyment.

This is a typical Karen Rose novel, very American and a story that focuses on the characters as well as the plot until they all seem like family and family really is the theme behind the book. A great police style thriller.

Another fabulous story in this series. The characters come alive in this intricate and engrossing thriller. Mercy's story is harrowing but the sense of family is beautiful.

Say No More has the perfect mix of romance, mystery and thriller that kept me turning every page. If I didn't need to sleep I would have finished this book in one sitting, but sleep made it a two sitting book.

Say No More does pick up after Say You're Sorry. It deals with dark themes of sexual assault and abuse that has previously been covered. The book deals with more with what Mercy went through once Gideon has escaped Eden. You can read Say No More as a stand-alone. But you will get more out of the story is you read Say You're Sorry first.

The Leading Lady in Say No More is Mercy Callahan a survivor of a cult and abuse. One thing that Karen Rose does well in her books is showing the different ways that her characters deal with trauma. And everyone has a different level of trauma. Also, it's ok to ask for help when you're ready.  mercy strength grows throughout the story, more so when she allows herself to be happy.

One of my favourite characters in Irina the matriarch of the Sokolov family (Rafe family.) She is strong and caring and accepts any into her home that needs help. She cooks when she is stressed and loves feeding people. I love her Russian swearing her special tea.

Say No More is a multi-narrative book. Although the main point of view is Mercy. We also get to read other characters point of view that impact Mercy story. There are two points of view that I really enjoyed as they both had to do the right thing in a different situation.

Karen Rose has again written another amazing story. I always enjoy picking up her books as it like speaking to an old friend who has a juicy new story to tell.

My Rating for Say No More is 5 out of 5.

Thank you to Netgalley and Headline for supplying an E-ARC for a fair and honest review.

Oh my god, I loved reading Mercy’s story!!! Ever since we were first introduced to her as Gideon’s sister she has intrigued me so I’ve been looking forward to knowing more about her.
Karen Rose has been one of my favourite authors for as long as I can remember, and I love how each character gets their own story, with their own part to play.
Say No More is the second book in the Sacramento series and it had me fascinated the whole way through!

I LOVE Karen Rose books, I am sure I have gaps in the series and need to go back and buy up those I have missed. This is book two in the Sacramento series, go and read book one if you haven't already as there is a lot of the story is follow on from book one. We focus on Mercy and Rafe, with all the side characters in between but these two are our main focus. Mercy wants to make amends with her brother Gideon, for years she hated him for leaving her and her mum in the cult. Suffering abuse, brain washing, manipulation and female children as young as twelve being married off in the commune Mercy has a lot to be angry about. Book two is about her facing the realities of Gideon's life, the long reach/scars from the commune and that sometimes you cannot outrun your past, not matter how long you have broken free from it.

Be warned guys, this has a lot centered around the cult, murder, rape, abuse, brain washing and what is at the heart of most of these "communities" money and power. Mercy quickly realises she will never be truly free from her past and instead on putting her head in the sand she needs to face it. Before more people are hurt, killed or even risking her own life. Her brother and Rafe are cops, she should be safe as houses but these people stop at nothing and we see from the very beginning how far they will go. Action packed, pacey, shocking, enraging, romantic, healing empowering an d huge character growth for some of these guys. Hard truths, overcoming inner demons and learning to trust, Rose intertwines all of this in a tale of death, murder, abusers whilst bringing in love, friendship, trust and family.

Despite being in double figures with these books she manages to bring fresh stories and lets the reader get to know more of the characters and keeping the stories new and shocking, 4.5/5 for me this time. Already impatiently waiting on the next book in the series!

The queen of romantic suspense has done it yet again!
Rafe is back and set to make you fall even further in love with him than before!
We all need one of Karen Rose’s hunky good guys in our lives!
As well as the brilliant characters there is also a disturbing plot line that is guaranteed to have you glued to the pages from start to finish.
If you are familiar with her work then you know exactly what to expect and it certainly delivers.
If this is your first Karen Rose book then I can guarantee you will be dashing off to read her back catalogue as soon as you reach the end of this one.
Brilliant author, brilliant series, brilliant characters and as always a compulsive plot line!

I won this galley in a Karen Rose give away - I was so excited to receive it (sad I know). I have loved every Karen Rose book that I have read and this book didn't let me down, I could barely put it down, it was such a good read and I thought that the book was wrapping up and realised that I was only 50% through it, so I enjoyed it even more when there was so much more story to read. I only wish that I could remember the back story from the other characters more easily (but getting old now) - I was actually tempted to go back and read the previous book to be clear about what happened in the story. Would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who likes Thrillers and or Romances.
