A varied collection of horror, crime and suspense. I found that there was a real mix of stories in this book- some I really enjoyed, others didn’t really hit the mark. The ones I did enjoy, I liked the fact they really were short stories, quick and to the point while still being creepy. Although I can’t remember the names of the particular stories my favourites were the opening story with The Tarot Reader and the story about the dentist! Enough to give you nightmares! Gruesome and suspense filled!
The narration of this audiobook was mainly good, one or two questionable accents in one of the stories but apart from that I found the storytellers were great at creating the correct atmosphere fitting to each story.

This is a collection of horror short stories with a variety of themes.
As with most short stories collections, there are some stories I enjoyed, and others that didn’t manage to grab my attention. Some of the stories fell short and when they ended I felt like they didn't really finish, like it could have ended in the middle of the story almost. A few of the stories aren't really memorable but I guess that could just be personal preference.
Some of the stories were really interesting and creative, gripping from the start and very well thought out.
If you're a fan of horror, I recommend this book. There will be some stories in this collection that will reach out and grab you.
