This was a thrilling read about twins, a boy and his sister. Their special relationship in life that not everybody will understand. Recommended.

Not everything is as it seems.

The story is told through a current timeline and flashbacks to the past with a 15 year gap in-between.

Explores the complex relationship between siblings (twins) great character development.

The book is full of secrets and lies and kept my attention throughout.

A good story although a bit predictable in places. The ending left some questions so maybe there is going to be a sequel

Be prepared for twists and turns a plenty!

A nice, quick and easy to read psychological thriller. Once you get stuck in you won’t want to put it down!
The story was very believable, if not a little predictable in places, but the characters were well developed through the story line and you found yourself draw into their world.
Although the story does come to a conclusion, I would love to have known what happens next, maybe being left with the possibility of a sequel?
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable read. I would seek out more from this author in the future.

Thank you to Netgallery, the publishers and most importantly the author, for the chance to read this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Andrea and Eli are twins. Fifteen years ago when Eli was 12, he set fire to their house, killing their parents. Eli went to prison and now he’s out and looking for Andrea. As secrets that have been kept hidden for so many years are revealed, it sets in motion a tragic chain of events.

A good book with an interesting storyline which was a quick and easy read.

I've never read such a claustrophobic thriller before.
It's a shock that makes my breath catch. This is my brother as an adult, my brother who I last saw fifteen years ago after the fire that killed our parents, covered in soot, clutching a lighter in his hand, his knuckles stark white against the dirt and ash.Everyone always said he'd grow up to be a heartbreaker. But his face has gone gaunt instead. The stubble on his cheeks and chin is patchy, and his eyes look dull and dark.
I loved the characters and narration of the story.
Thanks to NetGalley and Hodder Straighten for giving me an advance copy.
