This book is a few years in the future compared to the other books in the series. I wasn't necessarily keen on any of the other books in the series and they were all very average for me but this one, in particular, really did not do it for me.

Myla's character seems to have gotten progressively worse throughout the series - in my opinion - and she seems to hit an ultimate high with this book in particular. We also do not necessarily get a in-depth introduction to Maxon, their child, so it makes the whole plotline of the book - for me - really disengaging.

I didn't particularly enjoy this read and I much preferred the other books in the series.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!

At first I thought I was going to have to preface this with a spoiler alert, but then I looked at the blurb for Armageddon carefully and I can still say what I want to say without giving anything away. Whew!

I cried. Seriously, I cried. I think I cried multiple times in the book. Now look at the blurb “Armageddon has kidnapped Myla and Lincoln’s young son, Maxon.” Now picture yourself as a parent and the King of Hell has kidnapped your kid - sure as sugar not to play pattycake. I cried.

Christina Bauer pulled on and out all of my heartstrings for this story. There is action, drama, betrayals, and some snark but not as much in the book due to the devastating premise. Bauer once again introduces interesting characters, but this time I want more on these characters. Hildy is badass. I want to read more about her and her future.

Then there is Nefer. I would like Nefer and Anubis’ story. Then their after story because I know that they won. I will say that there is this great scene in Buffy when they are in the Hellmouth waiting for Willow to do her spell and the demons notice them, well picture that moment in the book. I was also comparing it to how Angel ended, but the world is not ending here so I am going to go with Buffy. This is how Bauer left us with Nefer and Anubis. Yeah, I need to know what happens after. (chuckle)

I think Maxon was the first book of Bauer’s I read after the Dimension Drift series so I knew Maxon would make it out okay, BUT still my heart was in my throat. As much as I cried, I love this story. I will tell you this: there is a happy ending for Myla, Lincoln, and Maxon. Not so much for the bad guys. Armageddon is another fun day in hell with Bauer.

I received a free copy of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.

The Brutal Time is a "kickass story that's both satisfying and unique" in the Angelbound saga, where Myla's story as Great Scala and Queen of the Thrax continues.
In this installment, Myla and Lincoln try to solve the problem of vanishing angels, prophecies of destruction and archdemons that are freed from their prison, forcing our protagonist to search for her own Knights of the Round Table. Building on this foundation, the book unfolds with time travel and unique new challenges that Myla and Lincoln must overcome to avoid the demonpocalypse. Highly recommended, very entertaining. One of the best books in the series, so far. BTW, I'm chain-reading all the series again!

Angelbound, the first in the series, is one of my all-time favorite books. I've read almost all in the series so far (there is a lot), and while I like most of them, they are just as awesome as the first one. Only one, by far, that is the same level of awesome, is Armageddon. The style, originality, and intensity and at the same level as Angelbound. And I loved every page of it!

Myla and Lincoln are happily married, a queen and king of Atrax, and they a little son, a scala heir.

They found that he is in danger too late and go after him into hell. It's time for all of the pretenses and old secrets to be revealed.

I love the storyline, and the writing and characters, and ... just everything. :)

This book is full of fast-paced action which made the pages fly right by! Myla and Lincoln are couple goals. They now have a son, Maxon, and things are about to get messy... again. It was nice to see the subtle changes in Myla and Lincoln in their new role as parents, but they still can't keep themselves out of trouble! Poor little Maxon gets kidnapped and taken to hell and they have to get him back. More of the same adventures and fun I've come to love and expect!

This was a fun edition to the series. I was kind of annoyed with the main character at the beginning but the storyline picked up after a while and I liked the book the more I read it. While I think this series has gone on a lot longer than perhaps it needs to I still enjoyed it. Especially with Maxon in the series. Lincoln and Myla were still a great couple to read about and I remember why I enjoyed reading about them so much.

Addictive reading, these books are amazing, although I don’t really suggest reading as a stand-alone, you do really need to go to the beginning and devour all of this series, you really won’t regret it, great characters, romance, wonderful fantasy, just fantastic stories

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

My favorite characters from the Angelbound world are back Myla and Lincoln. Myla and Lincoln are married now and have a son Maxon. Maxon is like any other little boy he is rambunctious and probably gets into everything. He is only three years old he is exploring and learning what everything is.

But Maxon is not totally like other kids his age no Maxon has magic which he has not learned how to control as of yet of course. Maxon goes through Nanny's like three or four a week at least. His latest Nanny has just walked out the door but never fear Grandpa has hired Maxon a new Nanny that will double as his bodyguard.

Armageddon, the king of H3!! is trying to get his hands on Maxon and succeeds. Myla and Lincoln are beside themselves with worry over Maxon but his new Nanny can help get him back as she has some special powers of her own. Myla and Lincoln love their little boy more than life itself and will do everything in their power to get him back.

I felt so bad for Myla when Maxon disappeared I could feel her pain and before I knew it I was in tears myself. It was as if I was there with her watching everything from a close distance. I love all the characters from the Angelbound world.

I have been waiting a long time to read Armageddon and finally it came up in the list of the Angelbound books. Like all the other books once I picked it up there was no way I could lay it down until I had read the last page. I can’t seem to get enough of Myla and Lincoln's world. I so can’t wait for the next book Quasi Redux or any book from this world.

I am a great big fan of the Angelbound world so would I recommend Armageddon? H3!!S YEAH! Oh I highly recommend each and every novel in the Angelbound world and any novel that Christina Bauer has ever written. So one click your copy of Armageddon today! Oh but if you haven’t read any of the books in the Angelbound Origins then I do suggest that you start with book one in the series as you want to get the whole and complete picture.

As usual, this book is exciting and fast moving. The characters are still great. :) We see more of Myla. :) Just when you think that this can't get better, it does! Totally enjoy it.

To say I loved this, much anticipated 7th instalment of the Angelbound Offspring series, would be an understatement.
I feel like I want to go back and read all the preceding books...just to tide me over until the release of the 8th book!!

I received a copy of this book to review from Netgalley. Thank you for the opportunity.
This book was interesting at times with a range of characters. I liked the characters who seemed incorrigible and funny at the same time. There were some nice relationships developed throughout the book, namely Myla and Lincoln and Maxon.
It would be a good idea to read the previous books in the series before this one as it is quite difficult to get into the book if you havent. At times, the book was a bit trope with expected events happening.
On the whole, an interesting read.

I enjoyed visiting this world again. Myla and Lincoln are great together. We get a interactions with Lincoln's father and mother as well as Myla's father. Myla's son Maxon has been kidnapped so this is about saving him from Armageddon..

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NegGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review. - This is one of my favorite worlds.
