The Day Cookie Was Lost is a simple story with super cute photos that will delight toddlers and elementary school animal lovers. The story itself could use some revising with regard to spelling and grammar, as well as the dichotomy or super simple language mixed with higher level words that felt out of place. The text formatting was also slightly distracting (especially the underlining). To be honest, I think it would be fantastic as a book meant for learning readers with a simple one or two sentences per photograph.

The Day Cookie Was Lost is a cute story about a dog being lost for a few hours. There are cute pictures throughout the book. I wish there were more pictures of Cookie’s face instead of so many pictures with cookie walking away from behind.

I recommend The Day Cookie was Lost for any children that enjoy dogs.

This book is about a Pomeranian named Cookie. I believe young children will be happy with the story as the pictures are vibrant and cute. But I’m not sure if the story flowed well overall for slightly older children.

This book follows an adventure in the day of the life of a Pomeranian named Cookie. Because of the photographs, I believe small children will be happy to follow along and the story has a strong start. However, I do feel this book could use a bit more editing in regards to grammar and spelling. I appreciate the thought that was put into this book, but I found the story lacking in plot development and overall flow.

Cookie and Sugar are Pomeranian sisters living in beautiful Miami beach. They are almost exactly alike aside from the fact that one loves going for walks while the other does not. When Cookie gets impatient because Sugar does not want to go on a walk, she pulls on her leash and gets lose. Off she goes to her favorite place! But once she realizes that her mommy and sister are not with her like she thought, she starts to worry. Will she be able to find her way back to her family?

The Day Cookie Was Lost by Susan Chapman is an adorable story about little Pomeranian Cookie. She is a beautiful dog and the story of her getting lost and trying to find her family is told in an easy to understand way while keeping it still interesting to small children. Each page has a photograph of either Cookie or something from her adventure, which will be fun to talk about with children. The book is a good length and a fun addition for any young animal lover.
